This is book 3 in the series and features the youngest brother, Sean who is a rugby player. He falls for Leah, his Sister in lws American friend who has to come to stay in Ireland and works at his families pub. He has to get married within the year and so he hires her as his asstistant and to find him a wife. However he has always had the hots for Leah even if she does not reciprocate.

I have really loved this series. Book 1 was the best, book 2 was good too but this one I did not love.. I did not love Leah and in fact I didnt understand why she avoided Sean. Sean is pretty terrific though I did not understand his fascination with Leah.

Dirty Irish by Magan Vernon a five-star read that has the luck of the Irish. This is the third novel in the Murphy Brother series, they each feature a different brother and they all flow into each other, but you could possibly read them as stand-alone but you will want to go back and read them all as each brother seems to be hotter than the last. Sean Murphy is a great man, I haven’t always thought that about him, in the previous stories he popped up and I wasn’t much of a fan, I have since come round and am whole heartedly team Sean now (he may even be the favourite brother, but that could just be the beard). Leah has always been a soft spot for me, her spark and sass just made me chuckle all the way through, I did want to shake her at times, but I also loved her to bits. This story is filled with passion and drama, the writing will make you chuckle and your gut drop, it may even make your eyes shine. But most of all it will make you smile and give you a great story that you would be sad to miss.

I started with book 3 of this series not always the best BUT the author Magan Vernon bring readers up to date quickly in the first few pages of the book. The story moves quickly as does the love hate between The American and The Irish Man. The characters are likable, sweet and human.

The story is very predictable as most romance stories are but it makes it easy to put the book down and return later.

The reason for the 3 stars is because this story is similar to another author I had recent and while it is just a little different I found this one lacking fun that is needed in this type of romance series.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher Entangled Publishing for the advance copy of Magan Vernon Dirty Irish.

This was my first Magan Vernon read, so I didn't read the previous two books. At times, it was confusing figuring out who was married to who, but I don't think it was that hard to follow along and this could easily be read as a standalone.

Sean's family owns Murphy's Pub, a large chain of pubs that apparently is a billion dollar business. After his dad died, they learned that in order to inherit the pub, each of the three sons had to marry within a year of his death. Sean is the last of the sons to find his future wife and he's feeling the pressure. He's also the only one who doesn't work for the family business in action, only in name. He's a superstar rugby player apparently with high hopes of moving up to a better team.

Leah has just moved to Ireland after her business partner was caught having a relationship with Leah's boyfriend. So she cut her losses and moved to Ireland. She agreed to work as Sean's assistant at Murphy's Pub and help him find a suitable wife and in return, she gets a nice paycheck and a free flat.

Apparently the two had some chemistry in the last book, but in this one, they try to keep things professional, even though they both obviously have the hots for the other. I liked Sean, he was honest with himself on how he felt about Leah, he just didn't want to spook her and tried to keep hands off. Leah liked Sean, but she kept herself from moving forward because of some self-esteem and personal issues. I really didn't get it.

I would have given this a higher rating, but I honestly disliked Leah an awful lot. I tried to like her, I really did, but she was way too stubborn, stuck on the whole clause and really didn't give Sean a chance. It was just incredibly annoying when that back and forth inner dialogue happened most of the book. Then there's the whole secret she's keeping and that's honestly one of my biggest pet peeves and turnoffs in books. I mean at least he found out and she didn't keep it from him for long, but the reasoning behind waiting to tell him her big secret was just too stupid to even give her the benefit of the doubt.

They get their HEA in the end and it's cute to see how far they grew as a couple. For that, I was happy and pleased in how Leah turned out. I don't think I'll go back and read the previous books though, but this one wasn't terrible. I normally like this type of book, I just couldn't like Leah as a heroine.

I love this series! You can’t help but fall a little bit for each of the brothers! Another great story about a few brothers, their girls, and a bar!

This is my first book by Magan Vernon. I enjoyed this story and how the writing flowed. While this was the 3rd book in this series it was a stand-alone and easy to follow without any back story on the characters. I look forward to getting the first two books in this series

Thank you to magan and netgalley for the advanced reading copy!

Love a book with Irish men and Irish accents!!! This is the 3rd and final book in the series. I received this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest / voluntary review. I admit I have not read the 2nd book but I was not lost. I loved it. This is Sean’s story. He’s the baby and the last Murphy brother that needs to find a wife. He’s a famous rugby player too. He’s had the hots for Leah (Fallon’s best friend) since book 1. They have become friends and play word games on their phones. After being dumped by.his date (who he thought to ask to marry him for the company he is sad and thinking about his life when he thinks he sees Leah. It IS Leah. She’s working in Murphys Pub after breaking up with her boyfriend. He hires her to find him a wife. Leah is very attracted to Sean but doesn’t want to fall for him. Sean can’t seem to give up Rugby for the company. Magan delivers another hot story that is really believable. I loved the back and forth between them and of course I love all the brothers. The HEA was perfect!!! I’m so glad that I stumbled upon this series.

I love a good Irish series! I didn’t read the first two but you don’t have to in order to enjoy this book. It centers on Sean and Leah and their romance. I do feel some things were rushed and not all that realistic but overall I did enjoy it. 3 stars. Thank you to netgalley for the book.

I already liked Sean and Leah from previous books, and now I love them after reading theirs. These two are trying to help their families, while also trying to figure out how to help themselves. Pasts and futures are all they've focused on, but when they choose to focus on the present, it's better than I could've hoped for. I loved this entire series so much and I can't wait to read more from this author!

3 Sometimes Right In Front of Your Face Stars
* * * Spoiler Free
Why is it people who are attracted to each other keep thinking of reasons why not to recognize the writing on the wall? Sometimes people just need to go for it...especially if there is a spark of friendship and chemistry. In Magan Vernon's Dirty Irish, this was the huge quandary which kept me at my wit's end. As part of the Murphy's Brothers series, the basis was a clause in Da's will. All three brothers needed to be wed by the year anniversary of his death and said marriages had to last at least six months. If all of the brothers did not do as directed then the company their father had built would be turned over to the board and sold.

Now, none of these blokes had women to easily marry at the start of this series. But at the start of this third entry, the only brother left to find his woman is Sean, the talented and famous Rugby player. All pressure is on him and it is not sitting well on his shoulders.

For rugby has been his devotion all of these years. As much as he loves his brothers, they were the ones who his Da blessed with smiles and praise. Instead, Sean was told his rugby playing amounted to a hobby and he needed to get with the program and come work in the company's office...tied to a desk.

Sean knows how serious this finding a wife is and wants to find someone he would actually care about. Trouble is, he has never been one to romance anyone and the latest woman he has dated more than a month just flat out turned him down. Sean doesn't have a clue what he is going to do... the only woman he has any type of relationship is living in Chicago and plays a mean Words With Friends.

Leah is that friend Sean plays with...Fallon is her best friend and she now is to married Connor. Leah was at that wedding and when she saw Sean, there were sparks but she knew to stay very far away. Now she is there in Dublin working at one of the Murphy's Pubs as a bartender. It was a gift from Fallon when she heard of the situation Leah was in. Her ex and business partner decided to get busy all over a new shipment of dresses in the boutique Leah owned. Once that happened, everything started to go downhill business-wise. Unfortunately, Leah couldn't keep the doors open and had to close her shop. It had been her dream...Fallon held out the opportunity to come to Dublin, get her head straight, and have a fresh start.

Leah grabbed it and there she was bartending. Sean walks in stunned to see she is there. These two had chemistry with an undercurrent which sizzled. Both knew it but because Leah had shot Sean down before, Sean tried to be cool seeing her there. Conversations happen, acknowledgment of the will and clause, and before you can say Guinness, Sean offers Leah the position of his assistant. He needs to have someone get him organized and arrange dates for him to find an appropriate marriage candidate. With the terms of a flat to live in and a salary which would cover the expense of her sister's education, Leah cannot say no.

Both know they are attracted to each other and it is going to be hard to fight this...But hey, they are strong and will just have to stay focused. No problem...Yeah, Sure...

This is a tale which had its moments. Sean can be a bit dense but overall is the sweeter of the two. There is this pressure on him, the need to marry so the family can keep the business, his love of rugby, how it conflicts with being part of the business, and this out and out want for Leah. He really liked her not just due to chemistry but for more and it showed from the start. Leah had more hang-ups about the situation she was in. Yes, she wanted Sean...crazy attracted but didn't want to give it a possibility of growing. The clause and everything it represented clouded her mind about all of it. Personally, this was my biggest issue because when it was all said and done...She was into him and he into her so if they were just open and forthcoming, it could have been so delightful...

But then it would have been a different story... and this was what our author had in mind...more conflict with the best outcome for the couple. I did do a woo ho when Fallon had a "Talk to Jesus" moment with Leah. It rang extremely true and what a good friend would do. When reading this I also felt as if the "Irish" was authentic and seemed natural. All of these books can be read as stand alone.

Sean is Dirty Irish who is an Irish professional rugby player who has had the hots for his sister-in-law’s American best friend since first meeting her. Leah had a boyfriend at the time, but she moved to Dublin to be closer to her best friafter she caught her ex cheating on her. The author did a terrific job developing the two main characters, and the chemistry between them was very believable. The story focuses on their growing relationship, and the personal issues that initially keep them from becoming a real couple. Although I haven’t read the first two books in the series, I suspect that this book is a worthy conclusion for the series.

Im pretty sure if Sean had his way his woman wouldn't wear clothes, "...don’t be jealous that you won’t get to sit with your brothers for hours and talk property while I take notes for you,” she said sarcastically, fastening her bra and spoiling my fantastic view." I like when Sean starting firing off text messages the man sometimes second guesses himself:
Sean: Did that make me sound like an arsehole? I suck at this shite.
Sean: Are you even reading these?
I liked this book, I loved Sean

I received an advanced reader's copy of Dirty Irish by Magan Vernon from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I had never read anything by Magan Vernon before this and had no expectations either way. Happily, I did enjoy her writing style and would gladly read other novels in the future.

This was a novel in an ongoing series, but it was easy enough to understand the world and its characters. I'd like to go back and read the other books, but this was an enjoyable read with likeable characters.

Thank you Netgalley and the publishers for sharing this book with me!

LOVED this book! Sean is the rugby star that never grew up, but plays rugby for a living and enjoys the female fans a bit too much. Leah has just moved to Dublin for a job so she can help support her family back home. While Leah is attracted to Sean, she has vowed to never act on it. Instead, Leah has vowed to help Sean find a suitable wife so he can meet the terms of his father's will and keep the company (along with his brothers).

Like all of the best laid plans, Leah's plans fall apart after a sexy night with Sean. What follows is an entertaining story that is at times both funny and poignant. I loved Leah's character and how dedicated she was to helping those she loved. Sean is a very hot and sexy guy, but his journey towards adulthood was a bit more sudden, as Leah impacted his life by her very presence.

If you enjoy the genre, you will love this book. I found myself totally engaged in the story and couldn't put it down. This is the third, and final, book in a series and I'm sorry to see the Murphy brothers go. Each novel is a stand alone book, however, they're so good that you really owe to yourself to read them all..
