So many sweet moments between Tuck and Daisy! I can appreciate a good story about a vet living with PTSD; an important social issue that often gets villianized or overlooked.

I loved the characters and the storyline development of this book. It was absolutely one of my favorites so far and I can't wait to delve in to the next one that this author writes. The storyline was simple, enjoyable, and entertaining.

I honestly didnt know this was book two.
This sweet contemporary romance lacked a bit of chemistry between the two main characters. But I enjoyed most of the book it had my attention. Tucker and Elisas life collide together and they have to learn to trust and open up to each other.

Thank you to Sourcebooks Casablanca and NetGalley for this ARC.

I enjoyed "I've Got You, Babe'. It was a great vacation read - not too angsty, just a sweet small town romance.

This is the second book in this series. The first one was fantastic and this one lived up to that standard too. Tucker is a former Marine and Elise is a single mother. I loved the relationship between Elise and Tucker. Lynnette Austin writes great characters and family interactions. I loved the little girl, Daisy. She was so sweet and precocious. This was a great read. I highly recommend this book.

This was a nice quick read. Tucker comes to the rescue of Elisa and her daughter Daisy after Elisa passes out in his shop. Though he is wary of the duo, he can't help but be drawn to them. Though the two are attracted to each other, like any good romance, there is issues they must over come for them to have their happily ever after.

I thought this was a sweet story. I found the back and forth between Tucker and Elisa about their frustrating. However, I enjoyed how Tucker's family and the community rallied around the two.

super entertaining and a complete love story. The characters are relatable and true to themselves throughout the story. While the story was predictable it did not take away from the realness of it all. Couldn't have asked for a better story of an ex-marine and a single mom. Very light hearted and perfect for an afternoon read at home. Loved this story and just hoping the next brother gets his own novel. This is the second in its series and while I loved the first one, I think this one tops my feelings for the best!

Tucker is in mind for a cup of black coffee and a weekend fishing trip. A hot shot is flying in for his 63' Corvette that is being worked on. Tucker has been deployed overseas in the military. A beautiful woman comes into his shop about her car. She passes out while her young child is crying. Her name is Elisa and her daughter's name is Daisy. She is low on funds on way to mother's house and hasn't had anything except black coffee.tucker isn't able to find out anything about her health and is stuck watching daisy.tucker will help as best as he can. I thought daisy clung to 'tut' too quickly.

I have voluntarily read and reviewed a copy of this title given to me via NetGalley. This was just a wonderful book to read and it was just easy to lose yourself in the story. I can’t wait to read more from this author.

This is a sweet romance with humor and heart and the ability to forgive. Single mom, Elisa has had it rough the past few years when she meets Tucker, ex-military with survivors guilt. Daisy, Elisa's daughter, helped liven the story and balance the heavy moments with the levity that only a 3-year old can bring.

While this is the 2nd book in the series you can read this as a stand-alone, however, with that said I'm now going to read the 1st book. Overall, quite an enjoyable book & I will definitely read more by this author.

Sometimes I forget how enjoyable a simple, uncomplicated love story can be...that boy meeting girl can be sweet and exciting all on its own, without all the trumped up drama that seems necessary. Which is exactly what I’ve Got You, Babe is.

Tucker Wylder is happy with his quiet life in Misty Bottom, Georgia. After losing three best friends during a tour in Afghanistan, he’s content to work at the classic car and motorcycle restoration garage he owns with his brother, and just wants to go home to his neat, orderly house at night to deal with his survivor’s guilt and PTSD alone.

Elisa Danvers and her precocious three-year-old daughter Daisy have had a run of bad luck and are just trying to catch a break when her run down car rolls into Misty Bottom. When Elisa lands in Tucker’s lap on the floor of his garage, she’s forced to accept the help Tuck offers after years of trying to hold things together all alone. Little did she know, he needs her just as much.

This really was a sweet story. Both Tucker and Elisa are managing life just fine, but get a glimpse of what life could be like with someone to lean on. They both have some issues to work through, though, before they can have a happy life together.

There was a lot to like about this book. The writing was good - the plot moved along at a quick pace and wasn’t dragged down by either of the main characters constantly lamenting over their woes. (I even think the author should have more thoroughly developed the hero’s lingering war issues - they almost seemed to be added as an afterthought, and I’ve previously felt that if you’re going to make those issues part of a character you should deal with them adequately and not just give them lip service; however, in this book I kind of appreciated that the author didn’t constantly dwell on the issues and instead let the story between the hero and heroine develop without it being a huge obstacle.) I also loved how the author threw in a plot twist - but didn’t hold “the big” secret over the reader's head or refer to it constantly.

As a fan of small town romances, I really liked how the side characters in the book weren’t overly eccentric or ridiculous. There was just the right amount of quirky to make things the kind of charming I like. Throw in a cute three year old and good dialog, and I really enjoyed this book!

This was my first Lynette Austin book, but I’ll definitely be interested in reading more - especially about the youngest Wylder brother. It’s always fun to see the one who resists a relationship the most fall so hard. I’ll be here, waiting for it!

A beautiful story of fate bringing two people together just when they need each other. Tucker is not interested in anything but working and doing his own thing. Elise and her young child are trying to start over although they have nothing.

They find themselves intertwined together as their feelings grow.

I've Got You, Babe is the second book in he Must Love Babies series. It can be read as a standalone, as I haven't read the first book and I had no problem reading this one. This story is set in a small town where everyone knows you, and your business. At times I felt like I was right there with the characters in the middle of it all. Ex-Marine Tucker comes off as rough and growly, but he really is a big softy trying to adjust to civilian life and forget the things he's seen in action. It does touch on PTSD.
Single mom Elisa always puts her daughter Daisy first, but with so many things happening at once, and no one to depend on, the stress is to much for her. I liked the characters, they were relatable. Little Daisy made me smile. This is the first book I've read from this author, and I wil be grabbing more from her. I like the way she tells her stories, with so much emotion and love.

I received this from Netgalley.

Before I say anything else – that cover just captured my heart, my emotions immediately. You shouldn’t judge a book by the cover, but this one caught my eye and I needed to know what the story was behind the trust and love that I see between that little one and that man.

I’VE GOT YOU, BABE is the second title in the Must Love Babies series, although you won’t be the least bit lost if you haven’t read the first one I’d still suggest it for both stories are touching and worth your time.

Tucker returned from the military a changed man, events that happened there have left him with not only PTSD but survivor’s guilt as well. He thinks he’s hiding his sleepless nights from his family but they are not as clueless as he’d like to believe. Nightmares hound his attempts at sleep. He’s going through the motions of life right now, but one adorable little girl and her stubborn mother are about to change everything for him.

Elisa’s life has not turned out the way she expected but her determination to provide a better life for her daughter, Daisy, is her goal at this point. Her car breaking down before reaching the safety of her mother’s home was the final straw. When she faints at Tucker’s feet in many ways their combined fates were sealed. Together they will bring hope, peace, and love to each other – but it’s going to be a rocky road to get to that point.

There are emotional layers to I’VE GOT YOU, BABE that will draw you into the lives of Tucker, Elisa, and Daisy, along with the caring and, at times, quirky residents of Misty Bottoms, Georgia. I was captured by the reality of Tucker’s difficulties and Elisa’s ability to bring him a calm he’d not known for so long. Daisy steals scenes left and right – and hearts as well. If you enjoy those emotional connections to characters, a slice of life’s realities in a book then this one will appeal to you. I enjoyed every moment in this world and will be back for the next story.

*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*

Mary Jo – ☆☆☆☆
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Tucker's initial response to Elisa and Daisy's situation is one of caring yet wariness. His time in military left him with deep scars – more than the ones on his skin – and he's afraid. He doesn't want anyone to know about his nightmares, of how he doesn't sleep. Since he works with his brothers, there is no way he can hide everything from them.

Elisa is also a person that doesn't like her weaknesses known. She's independent – she has to be as a single mom. Fainting in front of Tucker Wilder is not her best moment. Finding out that she needs to stay in town (which she can't afford) is something that she doesn't need now. She needs to get to her mother's place so that she will have a roof over her head for her and her daughter.

There's something about Elisa that calls to Tucker. He can't let her leave town, nor can he let her stay in a hotel room until the doctor pronounces her well. He wants to take care of her, which is something that he's never wanted to do with anyone else.

Elisa is wary of Tucker's motives, yet she senses his good heart. Taking a chance for both her and Daisy, she agrees to stay with him until she's back on her feet healthwise. What she didn't plan on was how much her daughter comes to love her "Tut." If Daisy loves Tucker, he can't be all bad, right?

This is a book that I couldn't put down and I can't wait to read the next book in the series.

Avid Reader – ☆☆☆
M/F Romance
Triggers: PTSD

I want to start this review by saying that I did not read book one in the series, but never felt that I was missing anything.

Tucker and his brothers run a very successful business restoring cars and bikes. They absolutely love what they do and despite the business side of things, they love working with each other. When Tucker is at work, he meets a woman who literally falls at his feet.

Elisa has not had it easy. She has absentee parents and married someone who, it turned out, wasn't her knight in shining armor. However, she has the most adorable daughter. And despite all of the hardships, Elisa still wants to find a good life for herself and her daughter.

Misty Bottoms is a community of people who genuinely care about each other. You have people who will go out on a limb to help those who are new. It was a sweet story about finding your place in life, letting go of guilt, and simply being happy.

The relationship between Tucker and Elisa was decent, however, with Elisa's secret it seemed like it was a huge deal. Then the big reveal was anticlimactic. My favorite character was Daisy. She was feisty, adorable, and helped move the story along.

Overall, this was a cute story, but lacked chemistry among the main characters.

I've Got You, Babe is the second book in the Must Love Babies series by Lynnette Austin. I did read the first book in the series, but each book can easily be read as a stand alone.

Former Marine Tucker Wylder wants nothing more than to work with his brothers in their vintage car restoration business and be left alone with his nightmares and regrets. The last thing he needs is to take on someone else’s troubles. Then Elisa Danvers and her young daughter arrive in Misty Bottoms, Georgia. Elisa has reached the end of the line—flat broke, engine trouble, sick in body and spirit. Tucker steps up to the rescue and finds himself reluctantly taking care of a feisty preschooler and her independent mother, who doesn’t seem to want his help. And Tucker isn’t sure he’s ready for the way precocious little Daisy and headstrong, beautiful Elisa herself capture first his bachelor household and finally his carefully guarded heart.

I've Got You, Babe is a sweet contemporary romance with a great deal of heart. Tucker is dealing with survivor's guilt and other after effects of his time in the military. He is trying to hold it all together for his family but everything is weighing on him more than he can admit. Elisa has been struggling all her life, more than ever since losing her job threw one more curveball her way. I love her fierce independence and willingness to do whatever it takes to take care of her daughter. When the chaos of Elisa's life collides with Tucker's forced order the result is thawing and growing trust on both sides. I loves the slow, sweet burm between the two- and how important actual communication and trust is in the story. My heart melted every time Tucker showed his softer side toward Daisy. I also liked the way his emotional wounds and struggles were handled- I thought his internalizing of it and reluctance to share were very realistic. Tucker and Elisa faced huge hurdle on their own, and together. I loved the secondary characters and the way everything was handled for all of their issues. I will admit though that my interest started to waiver after the half way mark in the book, and I cannot put my finger on why. I still wanted to know how everything comes together and how Tucker and Elisa get their happy ending but it was a lot easier to put the book down to cook dinner or go to bed after a certain point. I still enjoyed the read, and I am still glad I read it, but I was not fully engaged through the entire read.

I've Got You, Babe is a sweet romance and I think fans of the author will certainly want to read it. I fully plan on continuing to read the author's work.

The perfect escapist read for those who feel their life is not so perfect and may be waiting for that hero. Austin provides her reader with the happy ending people need in a not so great world.

What a cute read! I am loving this series - a trio of hot single brothers who are baby magnets - it's pretty ingenious, tbh.

Tucker is an ex-marine, a stickler for neat and tidy, comfortable with his solitary life and content with his bachelor ways (even if it gets a bit lonely). He is also dealing with survivor's guilt and some PTSD after losing his unit during his last tour. When Elisa and her adorable little girl, Daisy Elizabeth literally land at his feet, Tucker's whole world gets turned up side down and rattled around. In the best way!

Single mom, Elisa never imagined a health scare would land her in Misty Bottom, with little money, a broken car and no idea what to do. And never in a million years did she think she'd ever meet a guy quite like Tucker. The town really comes to her rescue and supports her and her little girl at every turn. But Tucker, with his genuine affection for her and her baby easily sweeps her off her feet.

This book hits a lot of sensitive topics and I wasn't expecting it to get quite as deep as it did but I still enjoyed reading Tuck and Elisa's story. The emotional pull had me super invested in both Tuck and Elisa's HEA. Tucker was definitely running scared when it came to his strong emotions, top that with a heavy dose of stubbornness and Tucker played the hot and cold game like a pro. Elisa definitely cut him a lot of slack (this girl was a saint when it came to understanding him and giving him space when he needed it!) Daisy was a total cutie. She definitely livened up the story and helped balance the sometimes heavy moments with innocent and adorable levity.

4 stars for the sweet friends to lovers romance, the humor and the heart. I've Got You, Babe was a sweet story of forgiveness, acceptance and trust. The heat factor was simmering but stayed clean (fade to black love scenes) and it was 100% safe!

Memorable Moments: Every Daisy scene :) She was such a sweetie and I loved watching her with Elisa but especially with Tucker. She brought a lot of sweet moments to this story. And her instant bond with Tucker was one of the highlights in the story.

Would I recommend? Yes, this author can write some sweet wholesome characters. I loved Brant and Molly (couple from book 1) & Elisa and Tucker were really cute in this one too. I'll definitely be checking out Gavin's book in the future.

Fair warning...Daisy will steal your heart!

I loved reading this story between Tucker and Elissa. Both were down, vulnerable, and kinda feeling alone. However, they sparked something in each other. I loved how quickly Tucker bonded with Daisy - major swooning. Throw in serious heat between Elissa and Tucker, along with absolutely cute endearments from him, and you lose your heart with a smile on your face. Elissa is not so bad herself. She is a survivor through all life has thrown at her and will not settle for scraps. She is so strong and independent; total enjoyment watching her bounce back frtom the latest ordeal. I wish we could have gotten a little more in their future because their happy ending was looking pretty good. I was not ready to say goodbye.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review from the publisher through Netgalley.
