Fortunately for Elisa Danvers and her daughter Daisy Elizabeth (so cute!) she arrives at Wylder Rides, vintage car restoration, before her car breaks down and she passes out. Former Marine Tucker Wylder saves her from major injury and catches her just in time. Although heading to her mother’s condo, Elisa really has no one to turn to and nowhere to go and she must remain in Misty Bottoms until she is able to move on. Tucker or “Tut” as Daisy calls him, is battling PTSD and guilt over the death of his former comrades. He invites Elisa and Daisy to stay at his home until he can fix her car and she can travel. He is a “neat freak” so the scenes as his house gradually becomes a “home” are so entertaining. Will Elisa and Daisy be able to breach Tucker’s defenses or will he return to his neat and lonely bachelor status. Great characters by Ms. Austin, including super cute Daisy. This is the second book in the series, but Ms. Austin provides information about the characters from the first book (I would still advise you to read the first one as that was a great story too). I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation for an honest review. (by paytonpuppy)

We have a story or two people who were not expecting each other but who truly needed each other especially now. They were dealing with painful pasts and getting over some demons and thankfully getting to know each other and being exactly what they never expected. It is a book with a whole bunch of feels, and you will and will be so happy that these 2 will be given a second chance and become a real family.. Enjoy!

This is perfect for a beach read. I read it while on vacation and really enjoyed it. It was very easy to connect with the characters.

I’ve Got You Babe by Lynnette Austin is the second book in her Must Love Babies series. We return to Misty Bottoms, Georgia, which was also the setting for Austin’s Magnolia Brides series, and continues to follow the Wylder Brothers. Tucker, our hero, is a former marine, who suffers nightmares about his marine friends who were killed, and he was the only survivor. Tucker works with his brothers at their auto renovation shop, and is mostly a loner, liking his privacy. One day everything will begin to change for Tucker.

Elisa Danvers, our heroine, arrives in Misty Bottoms with her young daughter, when her car breaks down. Elisa is desperately trying to get to her mom’s house before her money runs out. When Tucker comes upon them, he offers help, but then Elisa faints and Tucker takes Elisa and her 3 year old daughter (Daisy) to the local doctor. Tucker, who is enamored (as we are) with the precocious Daisy, offers Elisa to stay the night at his house, which has a number of rooms; since the doctor took tests and she needs to wait for the results.

What follows is a sweet wonderful slow build romance that is destined to fail, as both Tucker and Elisa have their own issues. He with his nightmares, and feeling unfit to be around people; she with no money, a child who has a heart issue, and determination to get to her mom’s empty house (mother is away in Europe). In a short time, Elisa makes friends with the wonderful people in Misty Bottoms; gets help for her newly discovered diabetes, as well as help for Daisy; and slowly fights off her attraction to Tucker; whom she recognizes that he suffers nightmares, which he has a hard time controlling. Daisy was such a wonderful addition to this story, as you could not help loving her. Tucker knows he has strong feelings for Elisa and Daisy, but he is determined to fight it off, as he doesn’t want her to get hurt.

I loved Tucker, Elisa and Daisy, as they were so good together and so much fun to spend time with them. Misty Bottom is a charming town, and when things look like Elisa and Daisy will be leaving, one of those wonderful residents will offer Elisa a chance to a new career and happiness staying in Misty Bottoms. Will Elisa be able to convince Tucker that they do belong together?

I’ve Got You Babe was a wonderful heartwarming sweet story, with a fabulous couple and great secondary characters. Lynnette Austin always seems to give us such wonderful couples, and in the first two books of this series, adorable children; as well as giving us touching and well written stories. If you enjoy pure romances, small town atmosphere and wonderful couples, you need to read this series

I enjoyed this damsel-in-distress and hero-who-needs-fixin' sweet story. I loved everything in how they met, how Tucker's world got tangled up-side-down with the two girls arrival and how quickly the pieces of their puzzle started falling into place. Tucker had some fun quirks and some heavy burdens weighing him down. My heart melted watching him work through his struggles. Elisa carried her own secrets and heavy burdens and found a refuge both with Tucker and in Misty Bottoms while she worked through her own things. I adored Elisa and Daisy's mix of strong and sweet vulnerability.

Despite the times where the story seemed to bog down (with misunderstandings and push/pull reactions), I loved seeing Tucker and Elisa figure things out and how family and friends surrounded them.

This is a great story to fall into if you're looking for good doses of sweet giggles along with angsty moments, and an hea that'll make you happy-sigh..

My first read by Lynnette Austin. She has a way with words. I found myself reading way more than one chapter like I originally planned to do! A great read. Well done.

Tucker Wylder isn't returning to Misty Bottoms as the man he use to be, that man is now replaced with a man that is swimming in regret and excruciating pain. He's hoping he can just bury himself in work at the garage, and the demon's he is carrying will just slip away. Solitude is what he craves, he just wants to have to worry about himself, and nothing else, no other complications.

But that becomes easier said then done when a beautiful stranger and her three year old daughter come crashing into his world. He doesn't want to get involved with them, but with Elisa's health and her three year old daughter needing to be cared for, he can't help but embrace his need to caring and compassionate. What starts off as nothing more than a helping hand quickly becomes something else, something that Elisa and Tucker never planned on finding!

I've Got You, Babe is a story that should not be missed, between it's lovable characters and heartfelt words it's certain to be a memorable read. This story line comes with bits of everything, painful pasts and demons to overcome, blossoming romance, creating new lives, and finding home... it's an emotional one certain to put a squeeze on the heart. I loved every minute of this one, the characters had me growing attached to them within a matter of pages, you just couldn't help but feel their pain, love for one another, and the natural connection that they had. It was so beautiful to watch them heal, embrace this second chance at life they'd been given, and become a family... they made my heart so happy! I highly recommend you get your hands on this one, it's an unforgettable journey that will be good on your heart, and leave you smiling!

I requested an advanced copy of this title from NetGalley, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest and unbiased opinion.

Yay! After waiting a long year, we finally get another story about a hot Wylder guy! After Brant got stuck with his baby nephew in Must Love Babies, his brother Tucker has a pretty woman falling at his feet. Literally... Elisa was trying to get to her mother's house, when her car broke down at Misty Bottoms. Fortunately, she is near a vintage car repair shop. But after entering the shop, she wakes up in an ambulance. Tucker calls for an ambulance, when the beautiful woman drops at his feet. But when he realizes her three year old daughter is still in the car, he forces himself to look after the girl, while they take her mother away.
As an ex-marine, still struggling with his past, he is not cut out to help a little girl or her mother. But unfortunately he really doesn't have much options. His southern mom would kill him if he didn't show a little hospitality. Elisa can't recall of someone taking care of her. But suddenly Tucker is there, a knight in shining armor. And although he is a neat-freak and Daisy will mess up his entire house, he offers her sanctuary and help. But Elisa doesn't want to be rescued or be someone's charity case. So they tentatively get to an agreement where Elisa will help Tucker with his past and he will open up his home for her. Can they do it? And when this is over, will they say goodbye? Find out for yourself in this endearing, funny and cosy read from Lynnette Austin! Five out of five stars from me and I'm looking forward to the third part, where hopefully the last Wylder brother will get his story! Thank you Netgalley for providing the arc.

What makes this novel is three-year old Daisy Elizabeth Danvers. She and her mother end up in this small Georgia town when their car breaks down and her mother, Elisa, faints from low blood-sugar in front of Tucker, one of the hunky Wylder Brothers who restore cars. Tucker, a retired Marine, isn’t interested in having a relationship, much less with one that involves a little girl, but his essential goodness has him helping Elisa out while falling for her and her adorable little girl.

The whole story is somewhat of a fairy tale in that Elisa’s problems finding a job that she would like and a place to stay are all granted by a character whose convenient appearance and eagerness to help Elisa is similar to that of a fairy godmother. And the complication threatening her romance with Tucker shows up out of the blue as a one in ten million sort of coincidence.

While I wasn’t thrilled with all these author-driven plotlines, what saved the book is the depiction of the little girl. Daisy sounded like a three-year old. She was so cute and endearing, but still not perfect. And the combination of this rough, sexy Marine/car guy and the sweet little girl was a real winner.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book that I received from Netgalley; however, the opinions are my own and I did not receive any compensation for my review.

What a feel good story. When a former marine gets invaded by a sick mom and her darling daughter, Tucker feels at a loss how to deal with it. He is a stickler for a spotless house, which doesn't happen with a 3 year old. They slowly worm their way into his heart and life. There are a few large bumps in the road but love does prevail. This is very much a feel good story. The three brothers that work together help each other at work and emotionally. They have each other backs at all time. Well written

Every story needs a breakout star and I’VE GOT YOU BABE has the cutest, most precocious star. The star is Daisy a toddler with the gift of gab. When Daisy speaks everyone listens. She definitely gets your attention and so it is no wonder that when Daisy has something to say it is usually quite important. Well at least in a Daisy world. I’VE GOT YOU BABE is an invitation to visit Daisy’s world and you won’t want to leave.
In essence that is part of the problem with big tough ex-marine Tucker Wylder. His immediate attraction to Daisy’s mother, Elisa Danvers, doesn’t surprise Tucker. After all any red blooded guy would take notice of this gorgeous blonde. But it is Daisy that gets under Tucker’s skin and worms her way into his damaged heart and military no nonsense life and home.
When Elisa’s car conks out at Tucker’s garage it wasn’t just the car that was running out of steam. It seems as though Elisa is also running on fumes. Sorry for the auto analogy – but it fits.
Elisa is on her last leg. Out of money, job, home and luck it seems. Now this unexpected stop in Misty Bottoms Georgia is just one more wrench in the works. Oops sorry again.
Tucker and his two brothers own a garage that rebuilds and restores vintage cars. Cars worth quite a bit when they are done. The vehicle that Elisa rides isn’t even close to valuable. But it is all that stands between her and Daisy continuing on their trip to Elisa’s mother’s home. Even that isn’t a slam dunk.
Elisa has virtually no family. She was raised by a grandmother. Sort of abandoned by her strange mother and military father. Daisy is Elisa’s only family. Her short marriage ended with a whimper. But Daisy is the grand prize.
So. Stuck in Misty Bottoms with a barrage of wonderful caring people turns out to be quite a wonderful accident for both Daisy and Elisa.
Tucker somehow winds up as the host for Misty Bottoms newest visitors. Humorously treated is Tucker’s reflex reactions to what looks like an invasion of his stark bachelor pad. Little girls make messes. Tucker can’t help but wince. Elisa can’t help but notice. Daisy is delighted to be the center of attention. And all at once you are on board with this very unconventional group.
Tucker hasn’t really faced his parting with the military and loss of friends and company. His world is well organized with little or no room for anything remotely resembling relationships. His family has honored his wish for time and space but even they are beginning to worry.
Daisy has no idea of any of this angst on the part of Tucker or her mom. Elisa hates feeling like a charity case and yet there is no question that here is a woman in real need of help. Tucker just falls right into that role. But what Tucker never counted on was that these two females were invading more than just his spotless efficient house.
I’VE GOT YOU BABE is entertainment at its best thanks once again to Lynnette Austin. Austin’s characters are just amazing and in I’VE GOT YOU BABE we get to revisit some we met before in past stories and meet some new ones. Any friend of Lynnette Austin is a friend of mine. Daisy is a dream of a character. Enjoy.

I’ve got you babe is a romance between an ex marine struggling to survive in his own head and a down on her luck single mother who is trying to find a place for her and her daughter.

Tucker is at the shop alone when Elisa faints at his feet and not only is he left with a down and out woman but a squirmy upset 3 year old. His perfectly ordered life with be shot to heck when they enter his domain.

This is a cute romance about second chances and it was good to see the other characters from book 1. I enjoyed it.

This wonderful romantic small town story was like a breath of cool air on a hot summer day! I laughed a lot, cried a little and fell in love with a sweet little girl named Daisy.

Tucker Wylder is one of the three Wylder brothers running Wylde Rides. A well known shop that restores vintage cars to their past glory. Tuck is a former Marine, a neat freak and shouldering a lot of survivors guilt. He has a home he loves, his family, but most of the time prefers his own company.
When a beautiful woman literally faints at his feet, he is terrified, and add a wailing toddler in the back seat of her car, adds to it. The beautiful fainting woman is Elise Danvers, divorced, laid off from her job and broke. The toddler’s name is Daisy, and once Tuck “Tut” agrees to take her to her mom, she calms down. Elise was heading to Charleston, but ends up having to spend some time in Misty Bottoms, Georgia. Between her ancient relic of a car, and a few health problems, she is stuck. But the characters in this small very friendly town, make her their own, especially Tucker.

The life of a single mom on her own and Tucker’s suffering from survivors guilt are handled beautifully. It shows how the emotions of war are not left behind when you leave. All Elise needed was a break, and the townspeople gave it to her. This is the second in the Wylder brother’s stories, it can be read as a stand alone, but the first book is equally as enjoyable a read.

I thank the publisher and author for the opportunity to read and review this book.

He has PTSD and probably OCD.

Surely there's a doctor?

The baby's sick as well? That's horrible.

Such a cute kid.

Oh, boy. What are the chances...

That is a cute truck.

Be careful what you wish for.

That's a good idea. Now if only she could tell him about her dad.

This wedding took a lot of planning!

I received an ARC from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley for my honest review.

This is a cute small town romance. Tucker Wylder owns a successful vintage car restoration company with his brothers in Misty Bottoms Georgia. He is dealing with survivor’s guilt from his stint in the Marines where his four best friends died. He likes his ordered life and is keeping everyone at arms length. Elisa Danvers walks into his shop, passes out and completely upends his orderly life. Since Elisa’s toddler daughter, Daisy, cannot accompany her in the ambulance, Tucker follows her to the doctor. Elisa is down on her luck, she is a single mom, her daughter has health issues, she has no family support, and she just lost her job. Tucker takes in Elisa and Daisy, so Elisa can recover. Tucker and Elisa are very likable characters. Both of them have so much baggage, that it takes time for the relationship to develop. I really love Daisy and Tuck’s (or as Daisy calls him Tut) relationship. Tuck doesn’t just fall in love with Elisa, he develops parental feelings for Daisy as well. This is a very sweet story and a nice addition to the series.

If you are looking for a quiet evening full of small town friendly, kind, nosy, stubborn, but nevertheless always ready to help characters , than this book is for you. The book focuses on a single mother with a cute kid and a man not interested in any kind of attachments or long term relationships. The book shows that sometimes small town life and people who really care are actually what you need in order to see your life in a new perspective.
Thank to the author and NetGalley for a review copy. All opinions are mine.

This was a sweet and heartwarming tale. Of two lost souls. One haunted over lost friends, another by a disastrous marriage. By divine fate, Tucker Wylder and Elisa Danvers’s world will never be the same.

I didn’t know what to expect when I received a copy of, I’ve Got You, Babe, the 2nd installment in the Must Love Babies series, written by Lynnette Austin and published by Sourcebooks Casablanca. I expect this story will hit the right buttons with any reader who enjoys Contemporaries or just a feel-good story.

Elisa Danvers was a single mother, who was trying to raise her daughter, Daisy the best way she could. Even at the expense of her own health. One day she passed out, in the arms of Tucker Wylder, who had his own demons to concur.

Tucker wasn’t expecting when he woke up one day that he would have to be responsible for two strangers. He also wasn’t expecting to be able to feel again. But with Elisa and Daisy, he finally came to believe that it's okay to feel alive.

I most certainly enjoyed every last minute of reading I’ve Got You, Babe. The plotline was moving, and the characters will touch your heart. I know that Tucker and Elisa were supposed to be the stars of this novel. However, to me, Daisey stole the spotlight. I just loved this little girl. I especially loved the nickname for Tucker…Tut.

I’ve Got You, Babe, a heartwarming story that I give high marks, a story that you most certainly don’t want to miss.
