Elisa and her young daughter arrive in Misty Bottoms, GA broke and in a broken-down car. The first thing a sick Elisa does is faint dead-away at the feet of a good-looking man.

Tucker is a heart-broken former Marine who is suffering from survivor’s guilt for living when four of his closest friends died on a mission. He joined his brothers in a car restoration business in Misty Bottoms, but his heart has even closed off for some time. That heart starts to crack open when a beautiful woman faints in front of him at his shop.

Tucker invites Elisa and Daisy to stay with him for a few days while Elisa undergoes some medical tests, and he and his brother fix her car. Fortunately for all, the wonderful citizens of Misty Bottoms embrace Elisa and Daisy as their own so they end up staying. Can two people with loads of baggage work their way through broken hearts to find love again?

i’ve God You, Babe gives readers a chance to meet a second Wylder brother as he finds love. The dialogue is witty and clever. The residents of Misty Bottoms may be characters, but they are also an incredibly lovable bunch. This story was an absolute joy!

I thought this was such a sweet love story. It was slow burning and well written. I really enjoyed everything about it. Thank you to netgalley for the ARC.

I've Got You Babe is a sweet romance story. The characters are charming and entertaining. The plot is engaging but predictable. I think I've read too many similar stories lately, and that hindered my enjoyment of this one. This story will make you smile, and it has heart warming and heart breaking moments. It's always interesting to see how the author puts the puzzle together. Fast and light, yet meaningful, I believe romance readers will delight in this story. Thanks to NetGalley for an arc in exchange for an honest review.

I liked the premise of this romance. It ticks some of my favorite boxes - single-mom, adorable child, strong tortured hero whose healed by love, and small town with quirky residents. However, the plot moved slowly and the end was wrapped up too quickly. The character development of the hero and heroine was a little weak. It's cute, but felt a little too long and a little underdeveloped.

A quote (from ARC):
“If a person had to be stranded, Misty Bottoms, Georgia, was one heck of a place for it. The small town oozed Southern charm and its people were beyond warm and welcoming. The man beside her? Although she wouldn’t always call him warm, he ranked high up there at the top of the hot chart.”
Sweet story involving a troubled former Marine and a single mom with a precious little girl in a typical small-town setting, full of good-hearted, well-intended and sometimes very noisy people.
It was fun to watch Tucker fall for both Elisa and Daisy despite all his reluctance not to get involved. Sometimes I felt the attraction happened a little too fast, when they’ve only met and are already cuddling, a sort of intimacy that implies a longer relationship; but I have to say that fortunately sex happens only quite late in the story.
The mundane activities, the back and forth between Tucker and Elisa and Daisy’s chattering occupied large parts of the story, lengthening it.
I have my doubts about the way Tucker’s survivor’s guilt was overcome in the end.
