Demon You Love by L.A. Fiore is book 2 in the Lost Boys Series. This is Anton and Piper's story.
This is an emotional , gritty, raw and angsty read that will capture your heart and soul. Anton has been fighting for his life since the very day he was born. Now he's at a point in his life where he in control and thinks he is pursing what he wants or thought he did want. Instead it take one look at Piper that brings this bad boy to his knees. Piper is sweet, kind, beautiful and oh so innocent. Anton lives life on the edge, in danger while Piper lives life in the safe and protected...when these two meet, its instant connection and chemistry. There's this push/pull. Their journey towards their HEA is every romance reader's dream. This is one story that needs to be read for it's amazing!!!

My Rating: 4.8 stars ******

Anton Scalene was born and raised in hell. But when he was fifteen, he freed himself and fought and built a successful life. Now he's the owner of a thriving business, he's more money that he knows what to do with, and he's close and loyal friends he calls family. But he's still fighting for his safety and the darkness of his past is still there. Until he meets sweet but fierce Piper. Can she accept him, darkness and all?

L.A. Fiore did it again! She created an amazing story and characters that will hook you from the first page of this dark and intense book. Demon You Love is filled with drama, mystery and suspense but also laughter, love and hope.
I loved Anton! He made me swoon several times with his intensity, protectiveness and kindness. He had a rough upbringing but he fought hard and survived the streets of New York.
Piper is a hard working young woman, very sweet and kind, but also fierce and very loyal to her family and friends.

Prepare yourself to a rollercoaster of emotions in this phenomenal second book in the Lost Boys series by L.A. Fiore! Demon You Love will make you swoon, cry, laugh and scream and you'll love every single page of this magnificent story!

To say that I have waited for this one since I read Devil You Know (Lost Boys 1) is an understatement. The first book was one that stayed with me for a while, it had everything; a great love story, mystery and action – a beautifully written story that kept me on the edge of my seat. So I had high hopes and expectations for the rest of the series.

And quite frankly it lived up to them, and then some. This is Anton Scalene and Piper`s story and it`s heartbreakingly beautiful. The characters are written extremely well and the storyline just flows from the very first sentence. I absolutely adored both Piper and Anthony, the push and pull between them and how they just fit like two puzzle pieces were amazing.

Anton is a pretty scary dude, and he’s been through hell and back. He lives in shades of gray, but gives back and are very loyal to those who deserve it. Piper is in many ways the complete opposite, a gentle person but not a pushover. She is loyal, ambitious and takes care of the people around her – and I absolutely loved her for Anton. They were just a perfect fit.

I would recommend reading book 1 before this one as some backstory is needed to fully understand what`s happening in this book, especially since it feels like a continuation of the storyline in book 1. It`s been two years and I love that we get to catch up with some of the characters from the Beautifully Damaged series, like Lucien and Trace, and of course Damian and Thea from the first installment.

I don`t really want to say much about the storyline since I hate spoilers – but this was absolutely a heartbreaking, heartwarming, intense and beautiful story. And I can`t wait to see what`s next for the lost boys.

Demon You Love by L.A. Fiore is book Two in the Lost Boys Series. This is the story of Anton and Piper. I haven't yet read the previous book, so for me this was a standalone book.
As we learned, Anton was fighting for his life since the day he was born. Now he has reached a place where he is more in control and is pursing what he thought he wanted. But one sight of Piper starts to show him what he actualy needs. Piper is a fun, innocent, tries to take care of everything but also wanting a certain dream for herself. Anton life is dangerous but to resiet the pull to Piper isn't working...can these to find what they both want and need? I so in love with their story....a page turner until I reached the end.

Such an emotional book. I just loved Anton and Piper. They each had their own stuff from the past and each of them overcame. I loved the little mystery that was thrown in it definitely kept me thinking and was surprised when it all came out. I can't wait for the next one.

There are so many things I loved about Demon You Love. But all I can say is that, I simply loved this book.

L.A. Fiore has a knack of consuming the readers and capturing their attention with her style of storytelling.
Demon You Love is a fantastic read!

I adored the characters.. Anton was sort of like an anti-hero who WILL steal your heart. His past breaks my heart but because of it, he has exploded into a character that leaves you into a state of complete and utter awe ….and also leaves you a bit fearful of him. 😆
He is a character I know you will you will fall head over heels in love with. Confident, generous, deathly are just some words to describe this man.

There is absolutely nothing to fault about Piper. She is a beautiful creature inside-out.

It’s honestly almost miserable to write a review for a book you really enjoyed without spilling spoiler. lol! Demon You Love is one such book. Anton and Piper’s story is one of pain and sacrifice but also so much about love, hope and friendship.

L.A. Fiore casts a spell on it’s readers and there’s a reason why she has become one of my go-to authors.

Demon You Love is an amazing read with it’s drama, suspense, sexual chemistry and love story (yup… two factors that leaves you breathless).

Happy Reading!

***5 ‘What If’ Stars***

What a way to start things off!
I mean, after reading the blurb I had no doubt that things would be all kinds of gritty and emotional, but whoa...that definitely hooked me, but what followed was definitely a pleasant surprise. This baby packs a punch on all levels ~ it’s sweet, smexy, funny and filled with a lot of heart that hit all the buttons and had me devouring this baby in no time and wanting more when there were no more words to read.

I adored Anton and Piper. Anton is a scary alpha AF SOB. He’s highly intelligent and lives in a world of blurred lines, but he is loyal to those that are loyal to him and though many do not get to see his heart, that heart is much more golden, and a lot less black, than most ~ even Anton himself ~ could ever imagine. Piper is a really good person, and I know that isn’t an exciting way to describe someone, but it’s the truth. She gives more of herself than she gets in return and yet she isn’t a doormat by any means. She simply tries to always do the right thing, even if it isn’t right for her. She’s hard working, conscientious, compassionate and owns everything that she is.

Anton and Piper’s journey to their HEA was definitely an interesting and enjoyable one. Their first collision was all kinds of meet cute goodness and I loved how fate kept pushing them towards each other in such a way that neither could dispute that something was there. I enjoyed how they gave into the attraction between them, admitting that things were happening quickly and just rolling with it because, regardless, they were both on the same page. The smexy was hot and their bantering a lot of fun. The big bump in their road wasn’t difficult to understand and I loved how everything ended up working out for them.

This was a great read, not that I’m all that surprised considering who the author is and she doesn’t disappoint. The writing is engaging, the pacing was good and I enjoyed the dual first person POV’s. There are triggers in this one, but I like how she balanced the dark with the light and the dark was a necessity, but done in such a way that was not gratuitous. And then there are the supporting cast of characters. Catching up with Damien, Thea, Edie and Rosalie was a lot of fun, as well as Cam, Lucien and Darcy. I loved Laney and Nina, and grew to like Candice, but it’s Razor who definitely peaks my interest. But from how things were left, it looks like Cam may be the lead in the next book, something I’m not unhappy about in any way, and I cannot wait to see what that book will bring!

Anton is a man whose set in his ways, "he turned his head, so one pale eye speared me. “When I invite a woman out to eat, she doesn’t pay.” Anton likes to make sure his girl gets his attention, “let’s go play some Pacman,” he offered then added, “Then you can ride my face.” I honestly don't think Anton minds his woman has no kitchen skills, "...I found her in the kitchen making breakfast. Her scrambled eggs were awful. How you screwed up eggs, I didn’t effing know, but she looked adorable." I liked this book, I fell in love with Anton
