Goodreads synopsis:
A CALL FROM BEYOND…

When Kristi Stewart inherits a property in the old part of Savannah, she knows it comes with stories of hauntings. But she doesn’t believe in ghosts, even while she runs seances for the guests of McLane House Bed-and-Breakfast. Until the inexplicable midnight appearance of one of her infamous ancestors. Terrified, she flees into the night—and right into the arms of Dallas Wicker.

Dallas is trying to uncover the truth about a colleague who died under suspicious circumstances. As strange happenings continue to plague Kristi’s home, it is soon clear that there’s a very living threat in the neighborhood—several people have disappeared without a trace. Dallas can’t find any connection between the victims, but someone wanted them gone, and it might be linked to the history of McLane House. And that means Kristi should be very afraid.

This is not a new series for me. I read book one, Phantom Evil, back when it came out in 2011. I haven’t kept up with the series but I have a good chunk of these the books in my collection. This series is just a sweet spot for me. I love how all the elements combine to make not only a romance but add that dash of supernatural to just provide the right punch of awesome storytelling.

The setting is nice too. I think the original series started in New Orleans but I was happy to see it had moved to Savannah for this book. Lots of interesting ghostly things there. The character of Kristi has known all along that her house was haunted but when she actually sees her descendants in the flesh, so to speak, she freaks out. Classic!

Dallas has come to solve the mysterious death of a colleague. He can see dead people too but it is just a bit more apt at it. I liked how the newbie melded with the veteran ghost seer. The ghosts were a hoot too. Loved that aspect.

They brought in Jackson and Angela for this story as well which just reminds us that we are in a Krewe Hunters series. Graham also does a good job of introducing characters for upcoming books in the storyline so when the next book in the series comes out you aren’t surprised by who is staring in it.

This was like reading a book written by an old friend. All the elements I love wrapped up in one book. Reading this makes me want to get more updated on the series. Check this one out. It is a keeper. Highly recommended.

I received this as an ARC (Advanced Reader Copy) in return for an honest review. I thank NetGalley, the publisher and the author for allowing me to read this title.

A masterful storyteller of paranormal romance. I am a big fan of her writing and this series in particular. Savannah is one of my favorite haunted cities so I was excited for this book. While the characters were great and I loved catching up with the old and meeting new, the storyline fell a bit flat for me at times. Some of it seemed rushed as if she were trying to get it all in and get to the point. The history was interesting and descriptive. Overall it was good but took me a bit to get through. I look forward to seeing what she comes out with next.

Savannah has lots of ghosts (it trades on that) but Kristi didn't expect the house she inherited - McLane Bed and Breakfast- to be haunted. Well, it is. And she's not happy about it. Dallas Wicker is looking into other strange things. The two of them pair up in a nicely done combo of mystery, ghosts, and romance where you can probably guess the ending but will enjoy getting there. It's well written and entertaining. I'd not read earlier books in this series (I'd not even heard of it!) but that wasn't problem at all- this was fine as a standalone. Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC. Perfect for travel.

Another addition to the Krewe of Hunters, this one takes us to Savannah, where Kristi is dealing with some family members on the departed side of the tree. Dallas is in town to look into several disappearances, and soon the two find there seem to be a common thread. We get to see some of our favorite characters pop in, as well as meet some new charmers in this latest thriller.

Kristi has inherited an old house in Savannah. The house is supposedly haunted. Strange things have been happening near the house, 2 people have disappeared and 2 others have died. Are they connected?

This is a book in the Krewe Of Hunters series. It does a good job of capturing the atmosphere of Savannah. There is also a good cast of likable characters, some not of this world. Thank you to net galley for an advancedreaders copy.

I haven't read a book by Heather Graham in a long time and am thrilled that I started back up again with this book! I love the way it feels a bit Gothic but doesn't fall within the genre. This is more of a mystery/thriller book with Gothic elements. Anyway, the writing (as always) is superb and I couldn't help but devour this book!

The Summoning is a new addition to the Krewe Hunters series. I was drawn to this story because I love Savannah, and I do believe it's a haunted place. The story is so atmospheric of this incredible city that it's like you're there. The characters are likeable and engaging. The plot is intriguing and I enjoyed the whole thing. Thanks to NetGalley for an arc in exchange for an honest review.

I've tried forever to get approved for a Heather Graham novel, so I squealed when approved for this one (thank you Netgalley!)

Another solid outing in the Krewe of Hunters series. I love how each one shows us a little bit of how the previous main characters are doing. My beef? I had just finished book 8 immediately prior to this and the main premise was almost the same - Revolutionary War era where the house is haunted, the houses are open to visitors, and there's tales of ghosts who killed their wives, both of which ended up being inaccurate.

That being said, I just love love love this series and I hope that future installments won't be as recycled as this one.

10 stars...Heather has once again came up with an amazing story. I loved the connection between Dallas and Kristi and the way that they met. This is one of the authors that I read no matter what the title is. Her writing is one that catches my attention and holds me page after page no matter what. Another great addition to the Krewe of Hunters. Thank you NetGalley for allowing me the opportunity to read this awesome book.

The Summoning by Heather Graham takes us to a haunted bed-and-breakfast in charming Savannah, Georgia to investigate strange deaths and missing persons. Ghosts, stories of the civil war and a sweet romance await you.

The Summoning was a lot of fun and I enjoyed piecing together the clues. I look forward to visiting an inn situated between Harrisburg and Philadelphia that is reportedly haunted in The Seekers.

Graham combines southern charm, paranormal elements and romance in this fast-paced murder mystery. I loved the historical details and chase.

This is another book in the Krewe Hunter series. I have enjoyed the whole series but this one was one of my favorite. Romance, mystery, ghost, New Orleans....add those and you have a wonderful read. I really liked the characters and the setting and there were lots of twists that made it hard to guess the killer

Another great read in this series. Kristi is one of my new favorite heroines and I love Dallas! The setting is great. The cast of characters are interesting. The mystery is full of twists. I thought I had it figured out and I was half right but didn't see the ending coming. I love how characters we already love from previous books always make appearances. Highly recommend this book and this series.
