Having never really been a huge fan of sports romances and not being from America I know very little about baseball but this one intrigued me and I'm so glad it did. I love Chloe and Finn and found them so easy to relate to. Light read that had me smiling all the way through. Loved it.

A fun and flirty romantic story between two well-rounded characters. Everything good about romantic comedy is packed in the first book of the American Royalty series. It is a treat to wind down on the weekend with a good book.

Finn Auprince is an american royalty by birth. He’s also a very skilled baseball player who’s temporarily injured. Meeting Chloe Conrad is fate playing its part in his luck. He then learned that Chloe is in charge of his social media manager. But his attraction to her is palpable and undeniable.

Tough luck on him because Chloe has been through enough with love. After countless encounters with relationships that ended with her heart breaking. She has tons of emotional baggage to unload. But one look at Finn Auprince and all cautions are thrown out of the window.

With a well-paced plot, amazing dynamic between each character, and good-nature humor, it is hard not to enjoy this book.

Baseball is not really my sport but I can enjoy books with it, here I followed well enough too. I've read Robin Bielman a couple of times mostly and liked them so I was intrigued by this. Finn Aupprince getting injured and losing a major game was blow. Being competitive as he is and known for how good a catcher. Having a social media manager wasn't in his plans but Chloe caught his attention and slowly became more. Chloe has a had run of bad luck in relationships so she's done with men for now. But hard to resist the good guy Finn turns out to be.

Finn can come off moody and solitary and he has good reasons but his kindness and noble ways about it works past that. I like he owns up to his flaws. He and Chloe work so well, her bubbly side and baseball knowhow are like a magnet to him. She's pretty loyal and caring with him and that's a good part. They have a mutual agreement at first casual but I have a feeeling it'll get mixed up.

So one thing that bugged me in the FSoG segue that came in at one point. That was so out of left field and kinda over that. But ok carry on. So I think it turned out somewhat predictable a little cheesy but still sweet and cute. I wished it didn't wrap up too fast but it worked. A lighthearted easy read I think it started of stronger than the ending. I liked Finn and Chloe, the Auprince brothers are interesting and want to read their books. Pretty good start to a new series.

Professional baseball player Finn Auprince is as famous and as talented as they come, so the fact that he’s such a down-to-earth and humble guy makes him quite an appealing superstar, but with an injury that puts him on the DL after a less than stellar showing in the championship game as well as the fact that he mouth-offed and disrespected an umpire, the powers that be feel he needs a bit of help to repair his public image, and as luck would have it, the person in charge of rebranding baseball’s ‘it’ guy is none other than social media aficionado Chloe Conrad - the woman who Finn has already met when they got into a small fender bender and he soon learns she’s also the daughter of the baseball official who he had more than a few choice words with during his last game.

Chloe Conrad thinks she’s cursed when it comes to relationships, and her her track record does seem to point in that direction, but from my perspective, she just hasn’t found her one…until now! And while Chloe has a professional obligation to help Finn, the chemistry between them is definitely on a much more personal level, and the more time they spend together, the closer they become, until they can’t help but want to take the biggest risk of their lives...on each other.

The fact that America’s favorite pastime is loved by both the main characters and the author resonates from the pages of the story. The baseball lingo is on point and the passion expressed made me ready to play ball!

Heartthrob is a feel good, humorous, sweet, and swoon worthy romance; it’s light on the angst and heavy on the feels and laughs. I love that Chloe’s curse didn’t dominate her life or the storyline...it was in there just enough to understand why she felt the way she did based on her past relationships. After meeting Finn’s family, especially his brothers, I’m so ready to learn more about them and have them find their one, just like Finn.

4 1/2 Stars! This book's a home run!

Finn is a baseball player who has a shoulder injury ... oh yeah, and not only does he have the bucks, his family is loaded. After his blowup with the ump in that infamous game, his team hires him a social media expert to help repair his reputation. Chloe loves baseball ... because when she was young, she travelled with her single father who was a baseball ump ... yeah, Chloe's dad is "that" ump. So when Chloe literally runs into Finn, she knows exactly who he is. A few days later she comes face to face with Finn ... her new client. Finn can't believe his luck, he never thought he'd see the beauty who ran into him again. The connection between them is obvious, so can they keep their relationship business ... or will it become personal?

I loved Finn and Chloe! Finn just has a heart of gold and Chloe is just sooo cute! The banter between them is so realistic. I found this book so easy to read ... it just flowed so good. This book had me smiling throughout it, laughing out loud, swooning at the romance and then there's the sex scenes ... just WOW! I even loved the supporting characters and can't wait for Finn's brother's (Ethen and Drew) books. Believe me, you are missing out if you don't read this book!

Finn Auprince is the hottest player in professional baseball. Unfortunately human error has made him the man who cost his team a World Series championship. That championship run also brought out some not so normal unprofessional behavior. As a result, his team decides to hire him a social media manager.
Chloe Conrad who considers herself unlucky in love meets Finn at her worst possible moment. And Chloe just happens to be that social media manager.
This is a really cute romance. Chloe and Finn make the perfect sweet and sexy couple. Add a few comedic moments provided by Finn's brothers Ethan and Drew. Those two will get their own HEAs.

I received a copy through Net Galley but the opinion is my own.

Let’s just say that Finn has had a really bad day at the office. Unfortunately, that office is a ballfield and his bad day has an effect far beyond himself. He might have insulted the umpire who will one day play a more important part in his life, he might have left another player with a significant injury and he just might have missed a really, really important play. To say that Finn went verbally ballistic that day might be an understatement – and now his team is bringing in a professional to clean up his damaged reputation. On that day, Finn would have the beginning of a very good life, if he can convince the lady that he’s the cure to her curse.

HEARTTHROB has me officially hooked on this series, I want them all like yesterday. I loved these characters, they are so human and believable. Bad days really do happen. And at times it seems that our love lives are truly cursed. So, yeah, I got both of their perspectives on life. Watching Finn convince Chloe that it’s not her, it’s simply that she was waiting for the right guy to come along – namely, Finn Auprince – was a delightful, completely enjoyable journey. Secondary characters often “make” a book for me since no one really lives in a bubble. And the other characters added charm, humor, a bit of drama and made this story even more realistic for me. I’m looking forward to more stories in the American Royalty series simply because I want more of these characters and the next couple to find their happiness. I had a blast, fell in love with the characters and discovered a really good story. If you love sports related backgrounds in your romance, plus simply love a good love story then you’ll want to pick up HEARTTHROB and be on the lookout for SWEET TALKER coming to us soon.

Unplanned love is the best!

Finn is a big star in the baseball world. But last season when his team lost at the World Series, he was not a happy teammate and exhibited very unsportsmanlike behaviour. His manager decides he needs some help to repair his reputation. Chloe is hired to help Finn manage his social media accounts and make him loved again by the fans. Chloe has sworn off men entirely. She’s had her heart broken one too many times, and she believes she is cursed as more than one of her boyfriends found their HEA with another woman while they were with her! She is not prepared for the attraction between them, and Finn doesn’t want to spend time with a girlfriend when he needs to concentrate on healing and the next MLB season. The chemistry between them is very palpable, and they both need to be honest with themselves and each other to find their HEA.

A perfect book to read now that the new season for MLB has started! Very fun!

Heartthrob is the first book in a long while that I have read written by Robin Bielman. According to the author’s note writing a sports romance is a new thing for her. Finn Auprince may not be my all-time favorite male character but even with his mammoth size ego he sure is likable. I mean how can you like someone who is always nice to his mother, then falling in love with her cute get well gift.

I saw through Finn’s eyes how baseball is a business that others control. He loves the game, is passionate about the game so is like a fish out of water when he is injured. Considering how worried he is over staying number one is an eye opener, the competition real or imagined is fierce. Enter Chloe Conrad, the one to help him with that. I liked this no-nonsense woman. The curse is something else. The other some what major character is Sammy, who is impossible not to love.

I am not a big sport fan so I was pleasantly surprised to enjoy this book so tremendously. The writing is smart, the dialogue is witty without being snarky and the romance is wonderful. The author is a master at giving the characters’ backgrounds while events are happening; the story flows easily but continuously. Without a doubt, it is the author’s style that worked its magic on this reader not the subject of baseball. Two more brothers to go, can’t wait.

I am so in love with Finn with Chloe!! They will make your heart pitter patter. Finn is a baseball player, who is injured and needs a social media manager to repair the damage of his reputation, in walks Chloe. Chloe has sworn off men, but soon that may change after meeting Finn. The chemistry between these two is so believable and hot! I fell in love with Sammy too. Two of my favorites in life, baseball and puppies, how could I resist! This book will leave you smiling for a long time, I highly recommend it, it was Amazificent!!

Talk about a wonderful story!
I loved this one! Loved everything about this one! I have no complaints. None.
I can hardly wait to read the next stories in this series about Finn's brothers - Drew and Elijah.

This one is about Finn, a professional baseball player, and Chloe, a media specialist. Chloe is assigned to help get Finn's image out there more and to get more followers. What begins as a working relationship turns into friendship and then more. These two have awesome chemistry! And Finn's grandmother! Talk about a wonderful supporting character. I hope she is featured in the next two books. She's on social media now and even seems to have Chloe as her media manager. :)

This is my first book by this author. I am so glad I decided to try her out.
I highly recommend this story!

Loved this book! It was fun, flirty, and sexy. You will find yourself laughing out loud and smiling all the way through it. Finn Auprince is charming, sexy, and definitely cocky. He's a baseball player with a bad reputation that he needs to repair. Chloe Conrad is a social media manager that is determined to fix that reputation while not falling for Finn's charm. You know what they say about best laid plans right? When Finn decides to put on the full court press to prove to Chloe she's the one for him things get all kinds of fun. Fast!

I recommend this book to everyone.

4.25⭐

Heartthrob was an engaging, light hearted, sweet, fun story. That was full of likable, charming characters, including the main two Chloe and Finn; and their romance was easy and very satisfying to read. And I'm certainly excited to read more from the Auprince brothers in the future.

Would happily recommend.

Laugh out loud. Fall in love. Begin again. Heartthrob can charm the heart out of any chest. Bielman keeps the humor flowing, even as she massages the heart. Finn needs a wake up call. Chloe is just the woman to douse him in a bucketful of reality, it she doesn't lose herself to the fantasy. Robin Bielman makes me smile more and laugh harder than any other author I've ever read. How can I not love that.

Ok first of all, I could not put this book down! From the very first chapter I was completely hooked and that’s a rarity for me! I loved Finn, his cheeky charms and his ability to be cocky yet still so sweet to Chloe. And I loved all the side characters especially Grandma Rosemary! Can’t wait to read more about Ethan and Drew in the other books in this series!

Such a fun book to read. I couldn't get enough of Finn and Chloe.

Baseball star, Finn Auprince is the hottest player in Major League Baseball. When Chloe Conrad is hired to be his social media manager, life turns around for them both. Chloe believes she is cursed when it comes to love and Finn doesn't get serious with any of the women he dates. But, together, they bring out the best in each other. When they decide to give romance a try, both Chloe and Finn are surprised how well they get along. But, will it be enough for a lasting relationship?

I knew from the very first page of this book, that I wouldn't be able to put it down. It is a really good romantic comedy with characters I didn't want to say goodbye to when the book came to an end. I was impressed with this author’s writing style. She kept it lighthearted and fun. I will definitely be picking up some more of her books soon.

Heartthrob is a cute story about an MLB hottie, recovering from a shoulder injury, being swept off his feet by his fun-loving social media manager. This book is a perfect beach read, the right amount of sweet and sexy to help you relax. Definitely gets five chilli peppers of hotness from me!

I received a free book from the publisher in exchange for my unbiased opinion. All opinions are my own, I was not compensated in any way.

I really book! So we have hottie baseball player Finn-glad I grabbed this I love sports stories but normally I grab hockey players so this was a refreshing change I know it is not my first book from a baseball player but it seriously has been years. Anywho back to review, so Finn is hurt and while on his imposed recovery he needs a social media specialist not because he wants to but because he has to and in enters Chloe. I really liked Chloe for a majority of reasons, one she was down to earth and dressed comfortably not trying to impress others, second she was not falling all over herself over Finn. These two were great together I enjoyed their chemistry and their banter and I can't wait for the next brother!!

Finn's a hot baseball player, fresh out of the World Series. Unfortunately, his team lost and he broke his collarbone at the same time. His team hires Chloe to be his social media manager in the offseason, both to help fix some of his bad behavior during the Series and to hopefully get more female followers. They have immediate chemistry, but Chloe's sworn off dating since more than one of her boyfriends found their soul mate while they were with her and promptly left her. I really enjoyed watching Finn and Chloe's relationship progress and loved the baseball theme of the book, although everything takes place during offseason. This was such a fun book and a nice easy read. Another great story from Robin Bielman.
