Finn is the best center fielder in major leagues. But when he gets injured and the team loses the championship, his image needs to be repaired. And that’s where Chloe comes in. Chloe is the social media manager hired to repair his image.and the fun begins.
I absolutely loved reading this book. It has everything required for a perfect fun read, great characters, sizzling chemistry, family bond, enjoyable banter, and a touch of drama. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and can’t wait for Ethan and Drew’s books.

Wowza did I love this book! Romance and baseball? Yes please! Finn Auprince? Absolutely yes please! I love Robin Bielman but she really outdid herself with this amazing and must read story.
When Finn is injured during the championship game of his life and he mouths off to one of the umpires, it's fortunate he wasn't ejected from the game. Although he is out on the injured list, anxious to get well and back into training before the season starts. The team reps want him to have his face out there, something Finn hates but they bring him a social presence manager, and we meet Chloe Conrad. Chloe isn't really impressed by Finn. Growing up around baseball her whole life and traveling with her umpire father after her mother died, the woman can spiel more sports stats that Google. I adored Chloe, her wit and quirks matched Finn's passion. Chloe hasn't exactly been lucky in the romance department and officially believes she's jinxed forever. She's decided she's bad luck and no more men for her! Work is safe, love is not. But Chloe wasn't prepared for the force of nature that is Finn. This man melted my socks. Truly I wanted my own Finn. Underneath all his bluster, fuss and love for baseball is a kind, generous, man who is hot as Hades. One of three brothers in the well to do Auprince family, a totally stand up guy! Robin weaves a fantastic story bringing these two together and it was so much fun to watch them make their way to the same page! I fell for these two in the best way. Stellar writing as always and characters to love. And wow am I anxious to meet the next brother in line, Ethan!

Absolutely drool worthy baseball playing hero Finn Auprince meets his match in Chloe Conrad, baseball umpires daughter and has sworn off love believing she's "cursed." Welcome to world of the Auprince brothers! Guaranteed to please! Did not put this one down.
*Finn may be your new book boyfriend*

You know those books where by the end of first chapter, you’re already in love with the characters? Well, that happened in this one. I couldn’t love these characters more. They made me laugh, swoon and stay up all night reading their story. 5 star story that you will fall in love. This author just keeps getting more amazing with each new book she bring out. Love it and can’t wait for the next book! Absolutely recommend

5 - "You're my favourite person ever..." Stars!

The first book in Robin Bielman's American Royalty series gives us baseball player Finn Auprince and PR Guru Chloe Conrad’s story.

Why am I the gatekeeper to others happily ever after...?

This is a couple that are linked in more ways than one, initially what starts with a car accident, Finn then finds out Chloe has also been tasked by his team to improve his public persona and online following stats, this is before he finds out her father is also the last umpire he disrespected while having a bad day at the office, one that got even worse when he left the pitch with a broken collar bone, as well as a missed catch in outfield, costing the Landsharks an important victory.

"You’re my assignment… I’m not yours."

The attraction between them is instant, but Chloe having been burned more than once by the men in her life is extremely wary, but caution soon scatters to the wind, and they agree to a no strings arrangement. Problem being one of them likes the strings and wants to keep adding more of them the more time they spend with each other.

"My hearts been hurt too many times… I can’t risk it again."

If you mix together a few well loved tropes, a wealth of likeable characters, and a well written, beautifully paced story-line Heartthrob ticks every box you are likely to have and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

How many of us, at one point or another, have now been in a position of fear in a relationship. Not physical fear per se but fear of the rejection or not being enough.
Well, try being Chloe five times. This last one has done her in. After a year, dating when she arrives at her boyfriend's, Leo’s place after being out of the country in, London, he is not the kindest of exes, when it comes to his greeting. For sure, making her red flags go up. Every time thereafter she is a way to nice in my opinion. Just me.
She is a social media manager. She gets a new job that she has dreamt about. The one that will give her one step closer to MLB. She will be working with, Finn Auprince a pro baseball player. When his team, The Landsharks finally makes it to the World Series he loses his cool several times with the ump, (side note: her dad.)
At the said game he also fractures his clavicle, so he is home in a sling. He needs to be immobile for three weeks in order to avoid surgery. He is not happy. He likes his privacy. Being that his family is in the spotlight a lot then add his own fame of obvious reasons he hates the limelight. His solitude means a whole lot to him.
But so, does family but when he’s healing not so much. Yet, he can’t say anything because he would, but his brother's balls, the same way. When he meets Chloe and they have this connection, life changes. For the better.
This was a fun story to read. Finn is such a kind-hearted man. Who’s always willing to help those who touch his heart and find themselves in need. Chloe is high energy, fun, funny, and pushes Finn to try new experiences.
I give this: 4 stars. Provided by netgalley.com.

A cute story, but I felt a little disconnected from the characters. I can't quite put my finger on why, but it took me quite a while to finish this one and I usually love Robin Bielman books.

Fun and flirty with oodles of romance and chemistry, Heartthrob is without doubt Robin Bielman doing what she does best.

“If Chris Hemsworth and Henry Cavill had a love child, he would look like Finn Auprince.”

My heart was literally doing a happy-dance whilst I sat reading as Chloe and Finn’s romance leapt from sweet to steamy, humorous to heartfelt. Success and wealth is in pro-baseball star Finn’s DNA and whilst he has the confidence and air of alpha-loveliness that comes with that, he’s grounded and wise, focussed on his career and enjoying bachelorhood. Until Chloe crashes into his life, sassy, fun and brought on-board to help handle his social media popularity.

“I’ll gladly share her burdens if she’ll just open her heart and let me in.

With real, relatable notes to their story, both were incredibly easy to love and with the added factors of Finn’s close relationship with his brothers, humour courtesy of his fabulous Gran, a smattering of angst and the discovery that goat yoga is a real and magnificent thing, this is a book which simply hits all the right spots.

“Those other guys? They were just so you’d know what true love feels like—with me.”

If a light, easy romantic read with engaging writing is your jam, Heartthrob is exactly that.

This was a fun, quick sports romance. The heroine, Chloe, has just been dumped by her fourth boyfriend to meet his one true love while being with Chloe. So she’s not interested in a new relationship even after she has a meet cute with the sexy baseball star, Finn Auprince. He’s immediately attracted to her, but doesn’t want to be since he wants all his focus on healing from an injury and preparing for the new season.

Then she turns out to be his social media manager. I guess all big athletes need someone to write their supposedly personal entries on social media. That should get people to be a whole lot impressed with whatever a celebrity posts. And it seems that most of her job is to take pictures of him looking sexy with a cup of coffee or a puppy.

Their relationship develops, meets some complications, and reaches a HEA. The H and h are nice people and I enjoyed seeing them together. The puppy is adorable and what Finn ends up doing with the puppy will just warm your heart.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book that I received from Netgalley; however, the opinions are my own and I did not receive any compensation for my review.

I love a feel good story, and throw in a sexy baseball player, and I’m hooked! Heartthrob is a wonderful story with a captivating storyline, engaging and likeable characters, and undeniable attraction that is front and centre from the time this unlikely couple meet.

And the support cast was amazing; Josh, Jesse and Sammy, just to name a few, and the family interaction between Finn and his brothers that was typical sibling ribbing, with a lot of love thrown in too. And let’s not leave out his delightful grandmother; her sass was an absolute hoot.

As my first time read, this story by Robin Bielman was certainly one that will have me coming back for more. The next in this series can’t come soon enough.

The first half of this book was a 4, while the second half was a 3.5.

If you're looking for a light read that'll make you smile, this is the book! Heartthrob is the kind of book that makes you feel like you're on a cloud high up in the sky, with no cares in the world except for what's happening between the pages.

There's nothing worse than reading a book with characters you can't root for. That was not a problem here, thank goodness!!
Chloe is such a sweet, loving girl; she wants to love and be loved in return, but unfortunately she doesn't have much family, and has been burned by her boyfriends. The loneliness she felt was so tangible (and also relatable), and you can't not root for her to find her happy ending. I also loved that Chloe's curse wasn't focused on much in the book. Yes, it affected Chloe, but it didn't drive her every decision, and it wasn't spoken about in every chapter- and I'm very happy about that.
Finn was not what I was expecting! I was expecting a grouchy jerk who couldn't keep it in his pants (probably from the first two sentences in the blurb). I realised soon, though, that he wasn't egotistical; he just knew what he was good at. But he also knew what he wasn't good at- and these glimpses of a vulnerable Finn made me love him even more. Overall, Finn is a total sweetheart who loves his family and his dog sooo much (between him and Chloe, there's a lot of love).

Onto the romance... the pacing of Chloe and Finn's relationship was well done and the instant connection mentioned in the blurb was so real. My favourite part is the fact that you could see Finn falling in love with Chloe every single time she talked baseball. It made me smile and laugh so much.
This was looking to be such a solid book that I was excited to see how the drama would come in and, I hate to say it, but I was very disappointed that it was a predictable misunderstanding. The way it was handled was definitely better than other books, though.

Overall, this was an enjoyable read that I definitely recommend. There were also some lovable secondary characters and I'm looking forward to reading the brothers' books. I'm expecting good things from this author!

When it comes to men Chole Conrad just can't seem to pick a good one, after many failed relationships she is convinced that she is cursed in love. Every time she thinks she is getting closer to a ring on her finger, they walk out of her life and immediately into the arms of their forever love. So, after being dumped yet again, and having her heart crushed, she decides it's time to take a long break from men. But then a sexy center fielder wanders into her life and demolishes her little rule... and steals her heart!

Undeniable chemistry, heated banter, and unshakable feelings are the perfect recipe for a heart squeezing and toe curling love story... and the pages of Heartthrob are riddled with it! I loved this newest offering from Ms. Bielman, her perfectly penned words and endearing characters made for an amazing combination, one that had me captivated from start to finish. Finn Auprince completely stole my heart, as soon as that gorgeous man wandered onto the page I knew I was in trouble, he was the perfect hero. He was as alpha as they come, but he also had this dangerous sweet side that reeked havoc on my heart! I loved his brothers as well, after meeting them I am more than a little curious to see what the author has in store for them, I am imagining lots of good things! Highly recommend you get your hands on this one, it comes bearing many wonderful gifts that will leave you smiling!

I requested an advanced copy of this title from NetGalley, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion.

This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy.

Poor Chloe had terrible luck with men and they would end up leaving her when they found their soulmate. She meets Finn after Leo breaks up with her on their one year anniversary.

Finn and Chloe just seemed to fit so well together and I really liked both of them. There are sometimes that you just can't understand one of the characters but in this book, I liked both Finn and Chloe.

I did wonder how they would resolve their issue of Finn's career and being away for the baseball season. I really enjoyed their HEA and the last chapter was great!!

Sometimes you just need a wonderful sappy romance to escape in. This book was perfect! Chloe & Finn were attracted from the beginning. Chloe is the social media manager the team hired to boost Finn’s presence & followers. She’s been hurt by 4 different boyfriends, feels she’s jinxed in love & is determined to stop dating. Finn is from a wealthy family but is very down to earth. He steers clear of entanglements because he wants to concentrate 200% on his career. Unfortunately, he was hurt in the last game of the season & his reputation took a hit because of unsportsmanlike conduct when he was frustrated.

The sparks off these two were apparent from the beginning. They challenged each other & forced themselves outside of their comfort zone. I liked that Finn’s brothers gave him crap but yet their love & affection shown through. His grandmother was fiesty & in the words of my grandmother, a “hoot”! I loved the meeting with Josh & Jesse. The addition of Sammy added some comic relief but also some sad moments. This was a very entertaining read & I hope to read more in this series!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for letting me read this book.
This was a light and fun read, where nothing too dramatic happens. Both main characters have been burnt in the past and are cautious when it comes to love. I like the progression of the relationship and how they get to know each other first. The story-line with Sammy was unexpected and it was nice to see it wasn't completely predictable.

I enjoyed this book. I feel like I read this book right after reading another book by Robin Bielman and I found myself comparing the two. While this book was good, the other book I read called Promise Me was more interesting. Chloe and Finn are a cute couple in this novel but I feel like it just keeps reading on and on. I didn't feel any major emotional ups or downs with this story.

Finn Auprince is well-known for being the best center fielder in the major leagues. Ever since Finn injured himself and caused his team to lose the championship game, he's been ticked off at himself. That is where Chloe Conrad comes in. Chloe was hired by the team to amp up Finn's image. Only problem is the insane attraction Finn feels for Chloe. When Chloe turns him down flat, Finn takes it as a challenge.

Chloe Conrad has just ended a serious relationship. It seems she is cursed. Every guy she meets falls for someone else eventually. That is why Chloe has sworn off men. Unfortunately, Finn proves to be quite a temptation. Can Chloe resist him, or is she doomed to rinse and repeat in the relationship department?

I give HEARTTHROB by author Robin Bielman a 3.5 star rating. It is the start of her AMERICAN ROYALTY series that centers on three brothers who come from a famous and well-to-do family, the Auprinces. HEARTTHROB is Finn's story. Finn is suffering from a baseball-related injury so while he's on hiatus, he's working with a social media manager the team has brought in to amp up some of the player's images. I really enjoyed Finn and Chloe as a couple. They try so hard to just be in a relationship that is all about fun, but when things take a serious turn, it surprises them both. What a thrill ride! I will be patiently waiting for book 2 in the AMERICAN ROYALTY series, SWEET TALKER.
