As Daphne and the gang prepare for Pipher and Roger’s wedding, things quickly head south when the venue has been booked for multiple weddings on the same day by the same wedding planner, and said wedding planner is found dead after scamming so many couples. But Roger is a prime suspect and that is the biggest hurdle that needs to be cleared before he and Pipher can marry.

With so many couples in the same position there are quite a few suspects, but who truly killed Abigail? Daphne won’t let her sister delay the wedding and to do that, she is going to have to figure out who the murderer is, because it’s not Roger!

Daphne and Jonathan have their own challenges when he is offered a job in San Diego. But Daphne’s love for Jonathan and desire for him to be happy leads her to the only decision she can make, set him free to follow his dreams.

Love, marriage and the long road to finding happiness is a theme throughout this one and you’ll be cheering, crying, and aching at various parts. But you’ll have enough suspects and red herrings to keep you guessing close to the end. Can’t wait for the next entry in the series later this year!

Something Borrowed, Something Mewed is one of my favorites so far this year. Fabulous characters and so well written. I will read the rest written by this author.

Since this series is one of my go-to-series I read it at once and found another good addition to the Lucky Paws Pet Sitting. It was good to see what Daphne Templeton and her for friends Socrates and Tinkerman are up to. Daphne's affair with the Homicide detective, Jonathan Black is getting serious except he is at a special assignment in San Diego, California. Socrates is very happy as his special friend Snowball is living away from him. Tinkerman as had to accept another cat, Ms. Peebles at the cottage. The latter made some funny scenes.
Piper, Daphne's sister is getting married and their Mother's are planning an elaborate wedding and have hired a Wedding Planner who disappears just before the wedding. Daphane is determined that Piper is married on time. As she finds the wedding planner submerge in a nearby pond. When Jonathan tells Daphne he cannot be involved because of their relationship, she is dismayed. Can the pair have long-distance romance?
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK AND SERIES.
Recipes for Pet treats are included.

Disclosure: Thanks Kensington Books for a copy through NetGalley. The opinions expressed are my own.

I've only read parts of this series, but I enjoyed this addition. Fun cast of characters set around the theme of pet-sitting, with romance mixed. in. Fast paced, easy to read, and very entertaining. I look forward to reading more of the series..

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for the chance to read this book!

I was so excited to see I was approved for this book! I adore this series, and I couldn't wait to see what Daphne and her gang of small town friends and family were up to this time. I love everything about this series; the mystery is always good, the theme of petsitting stands out, and the romance is super sizzling, especially considering the love interest's name is one of my major turn offs (whe you know someone in real life and all you do is picture them instead of the character...yeech!) but he is so sweet with his rescue dogs, and so awesome for Daphne!

This was over far too soon, and although I NEVER read sneak peeks, there is one for Bethany's new series out in November! I will definitely be reading that, because I loved this series so much (I hope it isn't over, either?) ^_^ a great cozy, check it out!

I love this series and Socrates, the philosophical dog, is one of my favorite fictional pet.
This means I started to read this ARC as soon as I got it.
I think that Bethany Blake writes wonderful pets: realistic, endearing and funny at the same time.
This book is lovely as all the others in this series: it's entertaining, engaging, and fun to read.
It was great to meet again the cast of characters, I loved to read about Daphne's antics and the evolution in her sentimental situation.
The mystery is solid, it kept me guessing till the end and the solution came as a surprise.
I can say I loved this book and read it as fast as I could.
I look forward to reading the next installment because I want more Socrates and more Daphne.
Highly recommended!
Many thanks to Kensington Books and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine.
