As a child who was raised by adopted parents this book struck some personal notes. I thought it was incredibly well written, and wasn't too terribly surprised to find out who Mr. MAJIC/Grace's biological Dad truly was. This was a great read!

This was an extraordinary book with many elements. There was romance, mystery, humor, drama, and this book teaches as well. This body of work is one of the most impressive that I have read in a long time.
Many thanks to Integration Press LLC and to for providing me with a galley in exchange for my honest opinion.

Thank you Netgalley and Integration Press for this advanced reader copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

What a charming, cozy read. This isn't my typical genre, but once in a while I like to read something that makes me feel good, and warm inside, and this done just that. Totally recommend!

I really enjoyed this story. Grace Maxwell returns home for her mother's funeral and discovers that her Dad is not her biological father. Now her mother has left her a manuscript from a famous author who disappeared many years ago. She and her sister, dad and a private detective start on a quest to find the author who is Grace's father. Some laugh out loud moments and it's great watching Grace and Sunny become closer, all according to her mother's plan. A very pleasant surprise on the family interaction and Grace's growth. I received a copy of this ARC in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Charming, a delight to read! At the funeral of her mother, Grace learns that her dad is not her biological father. She begins a quest, which was really laid out by her mother, to find out where her biological father is. All she knows is that he is one of the richest men in the world and authored several self-help books. Thus begins a sweet mystery, with romance thrown in. The delight of this book is that it has many techniques for enriching your life, releasing stress and finding happiness. I simply adored Grace’s half-sister Sunny and Grace too.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

"What ever Happened to Mr. MAJIC" by rod Pennington & Jeffery A Martin
A fun wild ride to solve a mystery. A good story, worth the read. I received an ARC from the publisher via NetGalley... and this is my honest opinion of this work.

When Grace finds out that the man who has raised her isn't her biological father, she sets out to understand him better and steps on a path of self-discovery.

I was intrigued by the description of this book and was not disappointed. When Grace's mother dies, she is shocked to find out her father is not who she thought he was. Instead, she discovers he is a famous self-help author. With the help of her sister (who is such a character and one of my favorite parts of this story) and a detective, she sets out to find Mr. MAJIC. Along the way, she discovers who she really is and learns to be at peace with her self and the world around her.

I enjoyed this book very much! The main character got a shocker at
her Mother's funeral that the man she had called, "Daddy" her entire life
was not her biological Father, even though she loved and respected him
very much! Her family had always treated her differently, now she understood
exactly why. It's a great read!

This book was a very engaging read. I wanted to uncover more of the story so it kept me turning pages later into the night then I should have been up. To me, that is the mark of a good book. It has great lessons but doesn't preach or talk down.

I got into the first couple of chapters of this novel about a young woman, Grace, who finds out after her mother's death that her biological father was a once famous self-help guru who mysteriously disappeared. Her search for her father became a little hokey to me, however, and I had a hard time finishing this.

Intriguing premise, but felt under-developed and a bit repetitive. The much-needed clue was so obvious and referred to so often that its revelation was a letdown. I did finish the book, but rather wish I hadn't committed to writing a review.

This book is extraordinary in so many ways that I am having a hard time even writing this review because I don’t think I can find the words to really do it justice.

I just could not get into this book. The storyline didn't hold my interest. Maybe I'll try again some other time.

I read a preview of the first chapter and was 100% hooked! i was so glad I grabbed the book to read, as I KNOW it will be one of the most talked about books this year! For those that like the 'new age' mystical thought processed, they are well wrapped around a solid mystery, that mystery lovers, and those who like good family dysfunctional fiction, will love as well. I read this book in 2 sittings, only because I started it too late at night! It's a very quick read, especially if you don't get too bogged down in the 'enlightenment tutorials' (which basically comes down to "let go and forgive"...). For those that like them, they are well rounded and plenty of instruction is given...

All families have some secrets, and in this book, those secrets are based on false assumptions and feelings, things most families also know! The fiction itself is a well rounded story, even if you DO guess who Mr Majic is pretty early on, it's all about the path traveled by Grace and her sister, and the path that the future holds for them. you'll be talking about this with all your friends, when you finish it, so don't miss it!
