Jackson Harbor plays host to a wedding, a family event, an HEA (or 5) and all the feels.

This series is easy to fall for...one page at a time. Crazy for Your Love has a truckload of baggage, bottled up emotions, and the big L-
O-V-E. Full of friends who'll have your back, CfYL is a wonderful Jackson family affair...with a Chopra flair.

I would be an honorary Jackson if only they had extras laying around. Come for the beer and the grub, stay for the happily ever afters.

Did someone say fire? Cause it's hot, hot, hot in here.

Nothing like a sexy little novel to spruce up your summer. I loved this book. It was cute, sexy, and fun. I finished it in one sitting! I always enjoy Lexi Ryan novels!

Lots to like in this book, and I love friends-to-lovers stories, but the characters are so not ready for a relationship. This to me doesn’t even count as an insta-love book. Carter is sleeping with anyone he can to bury the guilt he feels, and Teagen is hiding her own mistakes. I know that doesn’t sound like a big deal, but in this book it’s a major element. His past hookups are constantly thrown at Teagen (and us, the reader).

Despite that, I enjoyed the book. In real life I wouldn’t expect these two to last, but hey...it’s fiction.

Title: Crazy for Your Love
Series: The Boys of Jackson Harbor Book #5
Stand Alone Title: yes
Author: Lexi Ryan
Genre: Romance
Blurb: A family wedding with a fake boyfriend, meddling parents, and an obsessive ex . . . What could go wrong?

The only thing worse than being single at my sister’s wedding is finding out that my ex will be there too. Not just any ex—the guy everyone expected me to marry, the man I came to Jackson Harbor to escape.

Now I need a date, and fast. Enter Carter Jackson—the firefighter who’s dealing with an unwanted five minutes of fame ever since a shirtless photo of him saving a puppy went viral. He’s warding off propositions left and right, and he needs a fake relationship as much as I do.

Sweet and sexy, Carter is completely off-limits. See, I have a rule. A no heartache rule. Not only is Carter my friend and a known heartbreaker, but his job as a firefighter puts him in danger daily, and that’s something I just can’t handle.

The commitment between us might be pretend, but the passion all too real. As crazy as it makes me, I have to keep Carter at an arm’s length. Even that might not be enough to spare my heart.

Crazy for Your Love is book five in The Boys of Jackson Harbor series. All books in this series can be read as standalones.
Favorite quote(s)/excerpt(s): “I’m trying really hard not to let my hoo-ha call the shots right now.”
He coughs and raises his hand, one brow arched. “Can I be on team hoo-ha?”
Thoughts: I love a good friends-to-lovers romance, and this one was no different. I didn’t read any of the prior books in the series, but I thought it was easily read as a stand-alone. Carter was a little bit of a playboy, and he has a wicked sense of humor – and a naughty streak a mile wide. He’s had a bit of a thing for Teagan for a while, and when the opportunity arises to get closer to her, he jumps on it. Sure, he has a bit of a past with the ladies, but he’s a guy and he thought there was no chance for him and Teagan. I don’t hold it against him. He just seemed to be waiting for any signal from Teagan that the attraction he felt was returned.
The book was funny and engaging, and while it probably wouldn’t be in my top five favorites in the friends-to-lovers category, it is still a well written romance – it would be a shame to pass it up.

ARC received for review

I am very sad I haven't read the first four books in this series, cause I really liked this one. I wasn't at all lost while reading it.

Teagan and Carter are friends, maybe even best friends who have skirted on the outside of a relationship. Both were afraid to ruin that friendship, until fate or was Carter pushed and changed everything. They were so sweet and sexy together. I really, really hated her ex. He's a douche, and her cousin wasn't much better.

I hope there's one more book with their sister, and maybe someday I'll go back and read the first four I especially want to know what happened in Levi's book.

This book was Ok. It didn't trill me. There was a lot of weird drama and the characters most of the time were at cross purposes. You finally understand a little bit at the end, but I feel that most of the drama was unnecessary.

I always think that I surely cannot love the next Jackson Harbor boy more than the last and I’m always proven wrong!

Lexi does it AGAIN. Am I surprised? Hell. No.

This absolutely is one of my favourite series to read and I’m just so in love with all these Jackson Harbor boys 😩

Carter makes my heart ache. Teagan is amazing. Rich, ew. Isaiah - oh my life someone give that boy a cuddle.

Just the right amount of steam 👌🏽 just the right amount of fluff 😍

A fabulous read that I cannot recommend enough. Adore this series, I really do!

Teagan and Carter have been friends for the past four years but each secretly have been attracted to each other. Now Teagan needs a date to her sisters wedding. Enter Carter. I'm new to this series and author. This is a stand alone but i think reading the other books in the series would help a lot to understand some of what's going on in this book. Teagan and Carter both are hiding some significant secrets. Teagan's ex boyfriend is invited to the wedding. There is something there that terrifies Teagan and you're left wondering throughout the book what happened and why. I like the book but some of it was a little over the top and dramatic. If the two had just spent some time talking a lot of the drama might have been avoided.

Crazy for Your Love by Lexi Ryan is an absorbing and powerful novel. Main characters Teagan and Carter share an amazing chemistry, and Ms. Ryan does an excellent job of creating sexual tension, longing, and steam. Considering the roller coaster ride that Teagan escaped from, her ability to love is truly remarkable. After surviving a tragic event, Carter needs someone to love and Teagan fits the bill.

This a small town romance with many twists and turns. Teagan and Carter are perfect for each other and their respective back stories are both heartbreaking and compelling. If you like the friends to lovers and fake boyfriend tropes, then you will enjoy this book. A wedding, a manipulative ex-boyfriend, and some wild women contribute to this engaging read. This is the fifth book from The Boys of Jackson Harbor series and it can be read as a standalone.

Complimentary copy provided by the publisher via NetGalley.

It started out great, with the fake girlfriend plot and all until it gets hot between the two. I was even rooting for them until things get complicated. To be honest, I don't know if I were in Teagan's position, will it be okay if somehow everyone just got a taste of Carter.... like seriously?!

The secret that Teagan held as to why she was scared of Rich was tiring at some point because she doesn't want to speak about it. Until she did. And boy, I sure didn't expect it to be that complex. Never thought about it.

Since this book was part of a series, it can still be read as a standalone. However, I would suggest you to read the first book of this series and so on in order for you know the characters well and to fully enjoy the story.

Love this couple they are just so broken but in their own way. Yet, there is so much to be saved and to be worked with together. Being that they have each had secret crush can work in their favor. Most of all their overall friendship will make it strong when it seems helpless.
You see Teagan fled Virginia and arrived in Jackson Harbor to seek comfort and safety away from her past. Which no one knows about. Her third year in, her real life in the nightmare appears. She asks Carter for a favor. Hence, bringing them to the auction night.
Carter was calling in his favor asking Teagan to bid on him. So, he wouldn’t have to spend to evening with a strangely obsessed fan calling him a hero for saving a dog. Not for firefighting which he does. The bidding was out of the roof due to Carter’s media hits. Carter changes course bringing Teagan into the mix. A very cute scene unfolds you will enjoy it.
Then her sister’s wedding is coming to town and they tell her that her ex is coming to the wedding also. It puts real fear into her all the way to her bones. She asks Carter once again for another HUGE favor. He says yes. Especially, when she says it is because she needs him to play her boyfriend again due to her ex coming to her sister’s wedding. The same boyfriend from a year ago.
While holding Teagan during the visit a year ago pretending to be her boyfriend in front of the ex she was shaking with fear. So, he will do anything to keep her safe. Not to mention five days with Teagan is a no brainer.
The connection these two characters share oozes off the pages. With the laughter, fights (which are passion filled), desire, and the bottom line they genuinely want to be there for one another, to help them cope with their past but for anything else they need.
I loved that they were not perfect and that they were able to show their under-bellies to each other. Yet, they don’t cut each other any slack either. Even their humor which there is a lot since the family loves gossip…but the two like a flirt with each other as a form of verbal foreplay.
All in all, you will enjoy this book. It will keep you reading four sure. It had all the things I love romance, friends to lover, family angst, the villains, humor, and pain.
I give this: 5 stars. Provided with netgalley.com.

My first Lexi Ryan book and I am IN LOVE!!

Crazy for your Love is a friends - to pretend lovers - to lovers story! Lol! It's also the 5th part of a 6 book series ‘The Boys of Jackson Harbour', and can be read as complete standalone.

Teagan needs help desperately! Her sister is getting married and Teagan's ex-boyfriend from hell has been invited to the wedding. He just can't take no for an answer and wants to win her back. Teagan's plan? To get a fake boyfriend to hopefully show that she's moved on with her life and doesn't want him in it anymore. Carter Jackson is more than happy to step up to the role!

This was such an enjoyable read, and one I couldn't put down. I'm going to definitely have to read the rest in the series as this one was brilliant!!

This is a newer author for me and I have not read any of the other books in the series but I really enjoyed this one. Its a 2nd chance at love with besties story.

Carter and Teagan are good friends so much so that he once played her boyfriend for an ex. Now her sister is getting married and her parents hear that she has a boyfriend and so they fake date again as the wedding is in her town. BUT she also finds out the ex is coming to the wedding.

Carter has always had the hots for T but she always resisted and he wants to stay her friend. That is until she needs him to protect her from her ex and he is 100% there for her. I loved Carter even if I had a tough time with his manwhore sorta ways.

Teagan is a really great charcater as well, a strong woman who really enjoys a womfnderful relationship with Carter and does not want to ruin that.

While I usually enjoy this author's work, I had a difficult time finishing this one.

The story just went on and on, an endless back and forth with the characters, then the "twist" was delivered, and then that quickly the story was not done.

Fake boyfriend/friends to lovers, are some of my favourite reads, so it’s no surprise that I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The story is nothing new, it’s been written a thousand times. Crazy for You, however, has a few additions to the storyline with added secrets and twists. Both Carter and Teagan have their demons, very similar demons from their past. Demons that are destroying their chance of being happy. They both blame themselves for the death of a loved one. They both keep their secrets locked in deep. What a cute couple they are though. When they start their fake relationship they both agree not to blur the lines, they both have deep running feelings for each other, add to the mix their sexual chemistry, and they need to be careful. A wonderfully addictive read with great characters that I got completely lost in. I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. This is my honest review.

A fantastic, sweet, endearing easy to read love story that will leave you satisfied you read it.
Teagan and Carter have both been through a alot. They both feel an attraction to the other, but refuse to act on it. Until one fateful night when Carter pretends she's his girlfriend at an auction and everyone ends up thinking their a couple! Including her parents who insist he must come to her sisters wedding.
The ruse must continue. She feels she has no there choice. His kisses definitely have nothing to do with it! But she will resist him. She just has to make it convincing so her ex stays far away.
Carter finds himself wanting to take things further, but he is finding it hard to get Teagan on board. And the secrets they continue to keep from each other make it harder to keep everything from imploding.
Funny. Sweet. Sad. Just a few words to describe this terrific book that you want want to miss!

Those Jackson men are just irresistible!

Now Carter, for instance, he is the hunkiest of the firemen of Jackson Harbor. He recently has been prominently featured for his rescue of a puppy without a shirt. Women from all over the country are swooning over him and hoping to win the Bachelor's auction where he is featured. Only Carter is afraid of these wild and uncontrolled women. Only one thing he can do! Publicly proclaim he has a girlfriend. Who else but his dear friend Teagan who owes him a favor!

And so, a fake girlfriend is born just in time for Teagan to claim Carter as her "boyfriend at her sister's wedding. Her ex-boyfriend will be there and only Carter can protect her from this manipulative monster.

Secrets will always be discovered, but we always try to keep them hidden. Teagan and Carter both have secrets from their past that weigh heavily on their souls. This wedding is bound to be more than a peaceful gathering as love unfolds and monsters prey on them.

I am voluntarily reviewing this book. Thanks to the publisher for sharing a copy with me.

3.5-Stars

I liked this installment of The Boys of Jackson Harbor, but I just didn't love it.

I was invested at the beginning of the book, I liked the main characters and how they interacted with each other. But I slowly started to lose interest when the plot became predictable on where it was going - which is a shame because if not for such a strong feeling of having the book figured out so soon, I could easily have loved it. I also felt the ending was rushed. This story was LOADED in drama, so I was a little caught off guard on how quickly everything was tied up in the end. I still have a few questions that were unanswered by the end of the short epilogue.

I have always loved Lexi Ryan's writing style and have read many of her books. (My favourite being -> Spinning Out) So although this book was sort of a miss for me, I know I will be pre-ordering the next book still for the September release.

Prior to reading this ARC, I read the previous 4 books and enjoyed reading them before diving into Carter's story.

Although Carter's story can be read as a standalone, I do suggest reading the previous 4 books to get a full understanding of this family dynamic.
Book 1 - The Wrong Kind of Love
Book 2 - Straight Up Love
Book 3 - Dirty, Reckless Love
Book 4 - Wrapped in Love

The story of Carter and Teagan.

Both have their reasons for wanting a fake relationship, but both are keeping secrets so what will happen when the truth is revealed?

Looking forward to the rest of this series!
