I found Do Not Feed the Bear to be a strange and jumpy book, with character's I didn't feel a connection to. I applaud the author for her attempt, however I think she tried so hard to make her writing clever and zany that she alienated her audience. I found Sydney to be a bit of an unlikable character, and indeed I didn't connect with any of the cast particularly.

I'm sure some will enjoy this book, it just wasn't for me.
