Ty and Hannah's story was sweet. I love second chance romance and this had the added angst with Ty not remembering Hannah or their past together.

The author once again writes a romance that makes you root for a good outcome for the two star-crossed lovers. As Ty comes back to his family ranch to recover from a bad fall which has left him with no memory of two years of his life. Hannah remembers those years and the romance and marriage they had together, but needed to keep secret until her reign as Rodeo Queen came to an end. Unfortunately, those years and the young son born of that time are things missing from Ty’s memory. The way back together is filled with heartache, dramatic family interference, and the strong pull of their love of each other. I received an ARC of this book from the author, St. Martin’s Press, and NetGalley in return for an honest review, which this has been.

A definite good read.
However being honest, I must say , I spent a lot of time with frustration while reading this book. I had to put it down until I got some time to just relax and try again. Then it became a read for enjoyment. I like the way this author sets up a wonderful story line and creates characters that are real. I do not like all the internal in the head monologue that it holds. That was my frustration. So being fair, I reread the book again and I had to give this one four stars and the story, the characters the way it flows when I did away with all the internal monologue was great. So , for me it is a good read. I will be looking for more from this author and hopefully it will be a great read without so much internal monologue. I was given this arc in return for an honest unbiased review... That is what I have given. Regards, Anna

I really enjoyed this book! It certainly tapped into all my emotions. The characters seem so real, like I could be friends with all of them! I will be reading Caitlin’s books again, thanks for a great story!

I enjoy books with cowboys and "Cold Heart, Warm Cowboy" by Caitlin Crews, did not disappoint. It is a good storyline about a rodeo rider, Ty Everett, who takes a fall and suffers a partial memory loss. Unfortunately, that portion of his memory contained his love and wedding to the rodeo queen, Hannah Monroe. Hannah arrives at his doorstep to ask for a divorce, not realizing that Ty has no memory of their wedding, much less their time together. There is also a son that was born during their time apart, that Ty has no knowledge of and Hannah does not immediately reveal. This is a story of finding love again and somehow knowing that they belong together even though the memory of "them" has been lost. If you enjoy a good cowboy romance, then this book will be one that will captivate you and you won't want to put down until you have read the last page. (I was given a copy of this book for my honest review.)

I enjoyed the book, but it was not the best of Caitlyn Crews. Most of the inner monologues I could have done without, and the plot was pretty predictable. I do really enjoy the Everett brothers and their relationships though.

This is a wonderful story that pulled at my heart strings. Ty is a rodeo star who has partial amnesia due to an injury and Hannah is the secret wife who is hiding a secret.
I received a copy from Netgalley and I am voluntarily leaving my own honest opinion

Second chance romance is one of my favorite romance tropes, and I'm always up for a cowboy romance. Cold Heart, Warm Cowboy is both of those, but it felt like this book forever to get through. The pace is incredibly slow and way over-dramatic, mostly due to page after page of the characters' inner turmoil. I can get behind some drama for the characters, but that's really all I got from this one. It was either Ty's angst about his memory, which I didn't quite understand. I mean, I get that he was upset over it, but why keep it a secret? Then we have Hannah, who went to Ty's home for one reason - to reveal something - yet, she goes days and then weeks without a word. What? Hannah's secret bothered me and honestly, it didn't do much to endear the character to me. That wasn't helped by Hannah's opinions of herself. She's almost obsessive about her looks and the fact that she was a 'rodeo queen.' The number of times that comes up in her head or out grew tedious and again, didn't help with making her likable or relatable. In the end, the drama overshadowed anything resembling a romance, and it was much harder to pick back up than it was to set aside for later.

Ty has been dealing with injuries sustained during a bull ride almost 2 years ago. He finally feels ready for a rematch against the bull that caused his injuries...including some memory loss that he hasn't shared with anyone. When a woman shows up out of the blue, claiming to be his wife, he has no idea what to think since he has no memory of her. Will Ty and Hannah work things out? Or end up going their separate ways?
The story had a very slow start but it picked up around the halfway mark and ended with a satisfying conclusion. I give it 3 1/4 stars.

Memory is a funny thing and so are feelings. The fact that Ty Everett has lost both is a secret he is keeping. Some secrets are bound to come out and on that does arrives to tell Ty she is his wife. A nice change of pace for romances as Ty really wants to remember and wants to stay married. However there is another secret that keeps playing as the story progresses. This plot comes to a very satisfactory conclusion as another Everett bites the dust.

I wanted to really love this book. I love cowboy themed romances. However this one just fell a little flat for me. I was bored from the early chapters, and it never really recovered.

I had trouble getting into this book. It didn't really hold my attention, and the amnesia subplot didn't seem particularly realistic. Why didn't the heroine just tell the hero that they had a baby together?

Ty was in the rodeo until he was thrown off his bucking bull and ended up getting trampled in the process that caused him temporary amnesia Unfortunately Rodeo Queen Hannah was apart of that lost memory. Now shes around to ask for a divorce but how can she explain to the guy who can't remember her that they were married to even do that? She still has feelings for Ty but is going to have to break the news to him even more so that shes hiding more secrets that hes unaware of.
This was a pretty good contemporary book, I really enjoyed it. I enjoyed getting to know these characters and trying to see where they were coming from, from both stand points. Its clear how the way they were raised and such impacted how they were acting. It was interesting seeing how things were handled as secrets were slowly getting revealed. I enjoyed seeing the connection between the two, Hannah had her memories and it had to be tough knowing how much she loved and cared for him but had to hold back because of his lack of memories and the secrets that could ruin everything. Overall pretty great book I enjoyed it.

Hannah Monroe has been told every day of her life that men aren’t to be trusted. Her mother was an abandoned single teenage mother who was rejected by her friends and family. Hannah was the only good thing in her life and the same thingwasn’t going to happen to her. But, Hannah can’t resist the good looks and charm of bull rider Ty Everett and ends up giving everything up for him but ends up rejected. So, despite her mother’s will she is going to have one last chance at rescuing her relationship with the only man she has ever loved. Intense story, revealing the long reaching parental effects on the rest of ones life. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from St. Martin's Press via NetGalley and I am voluntarily reviewing it.
The beginning of the book is really slow. The characters do more internal thinking than actual dialogue being spoken. When there was a conversation, I would sometimes have to go back to the location the question. The premise of the story is a good one though. It took a long time to completely understand what had happened between Hannah and Ty. Their very first conversation in the book was confusing to me. There was never a simple answer to a simple question. I was frustrated with that wondering if it was a generational thing as I am in my 50's or just something to complicate the situation that was already complicated. I felt Hannah was very immature a lot of the time but then again she is only 22 in the story.
I did appreciate the dual POV format of the story. Like I said earlier, there was a lot of that going on though. It was really towards the end of the story that I really felt a connection to the characters. I really hate to give up on a story and have only ever not completed a handful of stories in all of my years of reading. I was glad to have persevered because the final few chapters more than made up for the slow start.

I really enjoyed this heartwarming story of a bull rider, a rodeo queen and family set in Cold River, Colorado. The characters were so real and down to earth you felt their happiness and pain along with them as you read.
Ty is a sexy cowboy who was seriously injured during his last bull ride. He has been drifting through life ever since, overwhelmed by the way his father treated him and how he is afraid he is just like him. He is holding on to too many secrets and cannot remember what has happened for the past two years.
Hannah is a beautiful , spunky rodeo queen raised by her single mom and aunt. She had been raised to believe all guys lie and don't stick around because that is what her dad did to here mom. She cannot shake the love she feels for Ty and wonders if Ty feels the same way towards her.
This story is full of heartache, regrets hope and love and makes for a perfect story in this series and one that I really enjoyed. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.

Cold Heart, Warm Cowboy is Book 2 in the Cold River Ranch series by Caitlin Crews. Having not read the first book in this series, nor any books by this author previously, I hesitated but then thought why not. I am very glad I took the chance. This was an enjoyable story that I finished very quickly.
This is one of those perfect examples of "JUST COMMUNICATE" already. So many times I wanted to throw my Kindle for the lack of communication between Ty and Hannah or Ty and his own family but in typical fashion, everything comes out in the end.
Now that I've started this series backward, it's time to get my hands on Book 1.

He has been riding bulls in the rodeo ever since he left home at eighteen, but Ty Everett’s last fall causes partial amnesia and his return to Cold River Ranch to figure out what comes next. She was a Rodeo Queen who gave up her crown and her innocence for Ty Everett but now Hannah Monroe wants a divorce only he can’t remember her, their secret wedding or even the son she never meant to hide from him. Even if she’s willing to start over, what will happen when the truth comes out?
This ‘Cold River Ranch’ romance is gut wrenching emotional tale that captures readers’ hearts and refuses to let go. Ty and Hannah have lots of sizzling chemistry and the beginning of their romance was a fairy tale come true but true to life the relationship hits a major obstacle and then events conspire to keep them apart. The emotions are intense and flows from the pages at high velocity as readers become caught up in this couple’s reach for happily ever after.
The pace is steady and continuously builds the suspense of this relationship and the answers to several questions. The strong, unforgettable characters engage in a game of pretend that has some very high stakes indeed with lots of feistiness and stubbornness that has sparks flying in every direction along with a complicated family dynamic between Ty and his brothers that adds to the volatile emotions of this emotionally gripping romance that readers don’t want to put down.

Enjoyed this book immensely suspense and romance what more could you ask. The characters were good as well can’t wait for the third book in the series.

In October of last year I read the first book in the Cold River Ranch series ‘A True Cowboy Christmas’. I really enjoyed that book! So when I got the opportunity to read the second book in the series ‘Cold Heart, Warm Cowboy’ I got super excited.
In ‘Cold Heart, Warm Cowboy’ we read the story of the middle Everett brother Ty. Ty Everett got injured during a Bull ride a view months ago. Ever since that accident he has been even more cold hearted and distant than before. But what Ty doesn’t mention to people is the two years of his memory he has been missing since that accident. At first Ty thinks those years aren’t important, but when the gorgeous Rodeo Queen Hannah appears telling him she’s his wife, Ty begins to wonder what happened in those two years. Especially since Ty always told everyone he would never marry.
I’ve always loved a good Cowboy story. And since I’ve been super busy with our new home I was looking forward to a little relaxing reading time. And ‘Cold Heart, Warm Cowboy’ definitely seemed perfect! And boy.. I definitely loved reading this book.
This book starts a view months after Ty’s accident. Ty can’t remember the last two years. And the author wrote this book in a way it felt like we were having the same memory loss as Ty. Hannah is talking about stuff I couldn’t really follow all the time and I truly enjoyed this the most about this book.
The chemistry between Ty and Hannah is fun and intense to read. And I loved getting to know these characters. Ty is this mysterious grumpy cowboy, and I definitely loved him. And what I really enjoyed was reading this book through both Ty and Hannah’s point of view. There aren’t many steamy scenes in this book, but this fitted the story perfectly.
Hannah’s character was also pretty damn good to read about. I really felt for her. Especially with Ty forgetting how much he loved her, and her moms harsh words.. my heart definitely broke a view times for her.
The one thing I didn’t really enjoy was the way the memory-loss part went in the end. It just felt a little sudden and to me it didn’t really explain things. But overall this book was definitely fun and I can’t wait to read the third book.
