This is the first book I've read by Caitlin Crews but I assure you it won't be the last.
The story line gripped me from the first chapter. Not your average romance this story had more depth. As the book progresses the emotion builds, and the ending does not disappoint.
Likable and well developed characters that were easy to connect with along with the story line made this book a very good read.

Gripping and emotional, Cold Heart, Warm Cowboy is a true second chance romance with all of the struggles and turmoil that go along with that. The story follows Hannah, a former rodeo queen turned mom as she confronts her estranged husband, Ty. The couple had a falling out just before Ty was severely injured, so Hannah has been waiting for him to reach out - that is, until she realizes he may have suffered some memory loss during his accident. As the couple come face to face for the first time in over a year, Hannah has to determine if he truly doesn’t remember her or is choosing to forget about their marriage.

If this sounds intense and emotional, that’s because it is. There were many times while I was reading that I was convinced I didn’t like the book, but I also couldn’t put it down because I just had to see where it led. The writing draws you in from the start, and the complicated relationship keeps you reading. Neither character is perfect but they are likeable enough that you want to see them find happiness - and Ty hasn’t had a lot of that in his life since Hannah left. Thank you, NetGalley, for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I was drawn into this angsty romance with a slow build and a steady dose of emotion throughout. It’s a refreshingly different type of story.

I think this is about as Cowboy as you can get💚💙
The mains Ty (bullrider) and Hannah (Rodeo Queen), fall in love and their future looks supposedly great.
Then Tough Luck wrecks Ty, he snaps at Hannah and they each go back to their own families. Ty's family consists only of 2 brothers, Gray (Book 1) and Brady (Book 3), since their sperm donor had passed recently and their biological incubator had run far and away long ago. I just cannot call him their father bc he wasn't. Just a mean ol' snake who'd left all 3 men clueless to emotion or love in any sense and the egg donor who left for her own selfish reasons, leaving 3 little boys helpless and abandoned.
Now, Hannah's got her acidic Mother Luanne, but at least she's there, along with her Aunt Bit, both loving her in their own way. There's also a whole family who'd alienated Luanne when she got pregnant with Hannah. It appears Hannah in all her life, had never had any interaction with them, or with the married man that had impregnated her mother.
All these emotions, or lack of, just pour from the pages. I can hear their voices, see their faces, watch them struggle to feel what is or isn't in their hearts, or run away scared.
Yes, this is that good!
Hannah gathers up her Beauty Queen courage and goes after Ty to confront and fight for their love. This is truly a crap on a cracker moment when she realizes Ty has selective amnesia, nor has he admitted that to anyone else. So no one knows about her, including her own husband.
I think I've said too much lol, but I really did get into this journey!
One drawback. There's a lot of redundant mind talking, reiterating, where I don't think the author gives enough credit to the readers to feel or connect on their own. Please read thru those because the journey really is one heck of a lot of 8 second rides.
I received an advance reader's copy thru NetGalley from St Martin's Press and I am leaving my opinion voluntarily.

This is a completely new author to me, and all the second book in the series, but I really enjoyed this one! So much so I think that I need to find the first in the series...

This was a redemption story for both the leads but in different ways...

I'm guessing that it's little bro Brady's turn next... and I can't wait to see how that one turns out

I really love the cover, but unfortunately I could not really get into this one. Nothing really happened that really caught and held my attention. There was some good world building, though.

A sweet invigorating and gusty tale, about a love that keeps getting stronger, no matter the circumstances or storms it weathers. This love was felt throughout every page in this book, although in my book Hannah was a bit harsh on Ty. I understand why she was like that though, she had to protect her heart from getting hurt again but she soon realized that was a hopeless cause for she is a woman that loves very deeply.

Ty Everett has spent the past 18 months back home with his brothers, running their ranch that was left to them by their horribly abusive father Max Ty was a champion Bull rider until h was crushed under one. and, has been trying to heal. Problem is that he has no memory of the two years of his life before the accident. No one knows that and, Ty really wants to believe that his memory will return if he tries hard enough.

The horrible childhoods these two have had to deal with and, their lack of faith in themselves makes reconnecting with each other a very large mountain to cross..
They both need to decide whether or not it is worth it

Great contemporary cowboy romance. Ty and Hannah, rodeo star and rodeo queen, until a horrible accident almost kills him and ends her marriage and her reign. Finding each other again is a long, difficult, and heartbreaking road. Both need time and experience to discover that love can be a struggle but worth every minute of it. And to realize that they are not their parents. Well worth the read!

Ty and Hannah have a history. Hannah was a Rodeo Queen and met Ty during his rodeo days. Hannah shows up at Ty’s ranch, Cold River, and he doesn’t remember her and the last two years of his life. They married in
secret so Hannah could continue a Rodeo Queen single.

This is an emotional read. Both had endured heartache. As they work on getting reacquainted each knows there is something special between them.

This is the second story in the Everett boys saga and we have Ty. He’s the middle brother who struggles the most after their childhood but he’s found his love in bull riding. However when the very thing he loves almost kills him and two years of his life are missing what could be so bad?

Hannah has secrets, but this Rodeo queen has decided enough is enough and wants to face her husband once and for all. The man she married isn’t the man she faced off with in the hospital. Reconnecting or divorcing shouldn’t be too hard right ?

Their story is rough and not perfect but I did enjoy it quite a bit. I would for sure read this in order simply for the backstory. All in all enjoyed.

ARC provided by NetGalley and St. Martins Press in exchange for an honest review. Thank you for the opportunity to read and review.

Ty, Ty, Ty... I can picture his muscles flexing as his cowboy swagger leads him through life. Having taken the blow of horrible parenting, Ty is unsure if he can be what Hannah needs when she announces that she is pregnant. Then twisting his life in a horrid ball, he suffers memory loss from a bull ride gone way wrong. Luck is on his side though because Hannah just doesn't give up on him. Happy love story that had me laughing, smiling and crying throughout.

How do you tell a man who doesn't remember you that he loved you enough to marry you? Then how do you tell him about the son he has never met? This was a story that I was invested in from the first page. While I did not love some of the choices that Hannah made in this story I really cared deeply about her and Ty and could not put this book down until the I had reached the end.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I can't get enough of Caitlin Crews' cowboys! Ty's chemistry and heat with Hannah sizzles and pops off the page. This is an excellent follow up to Gray's story, which ripped my heart and then handed it back to me on a silver platter before the ending. Crews has a talent for getting readers wrapped up in the very real emotions of her characters.

Awesome book. It gives a little background into rodeo life, but not enough to take over the whole book. It's a beautiful love story, with all the twists and turns.

Secrets and faulty memories mixed with a pack of lies. Could have beens and wishes too. Actually made for a pretty good story. Young love is hard enough without all the drama. I enjoyed the story.

Poor Ty and Hannah, their relationship definitely was piled with troubles, not least of which was Hannah’s mother. This story grabbed me and had me alternately wanting to shake the characters or hug them. Either way, I didn’t want to put the book down.

“Cold Heart, Warm Cowboy”, by Caitlin Crews, offers a powerful depiction of amnesia, one of the most convincingly best I remember reading.
The novel might have a slow beginning but we later learn that it was intended, so that the revelations occur gradually.
Ty is such a tortured, broken character, a retired, scarred bull rider who stubbornly wants to reclaim his reputation and glory again.
I was a bit bored of the innocence/virtue issues with Hannah, and the fact Ty appreciated so much that he had been her first. But perhaps it’s a cultural thing in the rodeo world.
I enjoyed seeing Gray and Abby again and I’m eager to read Brady’s story.

I received an advance copy of Cold Heart, Warm Cowboy by Caitlin Crews through Net Galley in exchange for an honest review. This was a very enjoyable book. The characters were very believable and it was very easy to sympathize with each person. This is a book for someone who is looking for an engaging story without explicit bedroom scenes. Than you for the opportunity to preview this book.

I really enjoyed this book. This is my first time reading this author, and I definitely would again if the opportunity presented itself. The main characters were believable and likable and the plot really worked for me. There were parts that could have come off fake or over-dramatic and they didn't in the least. I liked the ancillary characters, and the whole story flowed really well.
