I was not at all impressed with the writing in this story. Every scene was staccato short and poorly developed. Lola was cute at first, but soon became the most irritating child. The author merely used her to drive the plot forward instead of having the adults be adults. Fletcher and Emma both were ridiculously immature and I didn’t like either of them for a moment.

I received an advance copy of this book from Net Galley in exchange for an honest review. I enjoyed this book but the story was very predictable. However it is definitely a great holiday read. Thank you Net Galley for the opportunity to review this book.

Just the story I needed to read...a lovely Christmastime romance. Loved reading Christmas in Vermont by Anita Hughes.
