This four book anthology is nice to read and the author draws clear images of the adventures in my mind.

In " Look again " - Tylers story- both characters have complicated painful pasts. But they try to manage.
In "Never forget " - Rustys story - we find two elder people with guilt between them.
In "Take over" - MItchs story,- there is a complete take over for the lifes of both Protas.
And "Strike back" - Stuarts story - is a second chance novella..

Marliss Meltons books are always filled with great suspense , action and details, I love her style of writing, and I love the way her protas fall in love. They face their feelings for each other very fast. And the suspence plot forces them to stand - trust- or heal- together.

I enjoyed it very much

Just can’t get enough of Navy SEALs, on duty or off duty. No one writes their stories better than Marliss Melton. I have been reading her books and loving her characters since I discovered Forget-Me-Not in paperback years ago. Now Echo Platoon is a marvelous series with full length novels and novellas. I was excited to find all four of the novellas in Off-Duty SEALs (An Echo Platoon Anthology) having purchased two of the novella separately over the years to find all in one book.

All four are 5 star stories, so what a great value. Marliss Melton is the Military Romantic Suspense Queen in my opinion which these four novellas with SEALS showing why I think that. Easy to read writing that is so clear you can visualize the place and events in each story. The characters are genuine, complex and likable within story-line that grabs and holds your attention without having too much graphic violence or gratuitous profanity or explicit sex..

A little about each -

Look Again, the first look at Echo Platoon introduces the series with injured Tyler Rexall (T-Rex). Transition is difficult but a high school friend who truly understands PTSD is there to help a service dog she has trained. Danger finds her and now Tyler is there to help. Suspense, romance and the dog, Bronson. Short but engaging read to start off the series.

Never Forget has a retiring SEAL, Rusty Kuzinsky as the main character but there is also a dog, Draco that helps to save the day too. Maya is a single mother who lost her SEAL husband years ago. The danger comes to her and her son in the story. Well-written, longer; a personal favorite of mine.

Take Cover gives us Mitch Thoreau on a much needed vacation the Barcelona area. Only it is a place of political unrest in which he and his team must now help civilians caught up in the turmoil. Katrina runs the hotel becoming his love interest. What was thought to be a short term fling has all the making for more as danger sends them running.

Strike Back is a second chance romance. Stuart Rudolph and Hilary Alcorn broke up over a misunderstanding but now Hilary is being used as a target. Exciting and thrilling story to finish up the novellas.
