As with most nonfiction, it had some good and some bad parts. Not always relevant to me personally but it gives some starting points to orient oneself.

I always love a good empowering feminist read and this didn’t disappoint. Inspired to be a Fierce Woman everyday!

I enjoyed it! Fierce Woman discusses every part of the woman that makes us fierce; all of us! From the body to the spirit, Rhoda goes there. As a reader of self-help, law of attraction, etc. type of books, I admittedly thought I would read tips I've read before. Rhoda discusses those tips but more, and gives exercises for us to do to heal ourselves. I enjoyed the sections about chakras and owing our feminine power, which I think many of us forget to do. For instance, when was the last time we've been told to celebrate our periods and own it? So yes, my mindset has changed. All in all, I will reread this book frequently when I need a Fierce Woman reminder and tune-up.

Thank you Netgalley for giving me the chance to read this book in exchange for an honest review!

Great read for women looking for ways to feel empowered.

First let me thank the publisher and Net Galley for this amazing book ! This book is life changing. It is the ultimate power book for women. This is the "definitive" women''s empowerment book. Every woman and young woman should read this book and it should be in all women' s studies courses.

Here is a example of a quote included by Tanya Lyn of the Sisterhood circle. that defines best the basis of this book:
."Fierce women are sovereign, rooted in their self-authority, because they trust the voice within.
Fierce women no longer tolerate anything less than what they deserve because they know their self-worth.
Fierce women stand together in sisterhood because they see their sisters as their allies instead of their enemies."

This book is a great tool for empowering yourself and taking control of your well being while building your self confidence as a woman. If you ( as all of us where brought up to ) accepted less then you deserve in life and tolerated the abuse, insults and misogyny of the war on women in today's society you need to read this book.
I loved it and appreciate the author''s including journaling tips, exercises and meditation practice. This is not just another self help book and the author is not a self help guru trying to sell a book. She knows and practices what she is teaching here which is to better ourselves and value our worth and our place in the world as women and find our power and use our voices to better ourselves. This author has given us the tools we need to be more confident in every aspect of our lives. This is a way to find your power as a woman and build yourself up to a place of confidence by healthy practices and encouragement. Read it and buy copies for all your friends.

I highly recommend this book for all women. My opinion is my own. I will be buying copies for gifts and a hard copy for myself.

I felt this book was a bit cliched and not the inspiring, empowering read that it said it would be (although I appreciate that is my personal opinion and others may differ).

This book is something everyone needs to hear. And I mean it.
We are fierce women. All of us. Every single one of us. We just need to awaken that fierce being within ourselves and start living as we should.
This is the energy of the book. This is the voice in your head. This is you.
The book is absolutely awakening.

.I am an avid nonfiction lover and picked this one thinking it is a book similar to ; "You are badass" and "Own your everyday."

.But it turned out to be catering to a different zone of feminine empowerment. It cites examples from author's personal life snd she quides women to reclaim their life by yoga and meditation.
.
Because of my commitment to review every book I request for a review. So I read it, but I could not connect or like it. Because it turned out to be totally different pedigree.

I liked parts about Yoga and Chakra. Being an Indian I already have basic knowledge about them.

Other stuff just didn't resonate with me.
Structuring of the bookand writing style is pleasing and fluent to read. But as a tantric educator author has her own theories which cannot be proved ir disproved.

May be I confused book as a nonfiction scientific work but it is s spiritual work.

Thanks netgalley and publisher for a review copy.

What I like best about this book was the many, many exercises and activities and journaling suggestions to put into practice in my own life the idea of owning my own power. I haven’t seen a book quite like this before. The author approaches the idea of being fierce, claiming our female power, in regards to our body, our mind, and our spirit. Each section is thorough, well written, with lots of examples and suggested activities to put the ideas into practice.

Thanks to NetGalley, the author and publisher for an advanced reading copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Sometimes certain books come to you in the exact time you need them.
This was such a book!
I needed to hear the empowering messages and do some of the exercises to reconnect with myself.
I needed to hear motivating words and think about how I currently treat myself and my body.
I can highly recommend Fierce Woman when you feel deflated or defeated or you're looking for exercises to connect with yourself and your body.

Thank you Netgalley for providing me with a copy.

I really enjoyed Fierce Woman by Rhonda Shapiro. I feel inspired to work on empowering not only myself, but the women around me. We all deserve to feel comfortable in our own bodies and lives, and to hell with what society thinks about it! I have ordered copies for my library as I know it'll find its way to our readers.

Powerful, moving, inspiring, and impactful book that will challenge you to become the best version of yourself. It's an absolute must read for the modern woman. Rhoda will instill such a sense of self-confidence it's crazy. Can't wait to see this hit shelves. It's gonna be big.

This book seeks to help women find empowerment. It is inspirational, but it takes most of its philosophy from yoga concepts. There's quite a lot about chakras and other yoga concepts. If you're into that, it's a great book. If you're not into the philosophy behind yoga, you might find this book a bit tedious.

A wonderful journey for women to be comfortable in their bodies again regardless of societal norms or stigma. As well as building self love after so many of us have had it worn down by ourselves or others.

I knew from the moment I started reading this book that it was going to be something that I needed to hear, something that was going to awaken and empower me.

For those of you that don't know, when I'm not reading books and reviewing them, I'm a life coach, an ordained minister, a Reiki master in training, a witch, tarot reader, etc. Spirituality is my life, I live and breathe this stuff.

I am also a women's circle facilitator. I have dedicated myself to empowering women in the name of sisterhood, and this book not only is helping me spiritually but also professionally. The call, right in the foreword, written by Sistership Circle Founder, Tanya Lynn got me.

"Fierce women are sovereign, rooted in their self-authority, because they trust the voice within.

Fierce women no longer tolerate anything less than wha tthey deserve because they know their self-worth.

Fierce women stand together in sisterhood because they see their sisters as their allies instead of their enemies."

I mean COME ON! Isn't that just amazing? I don't know about you, but this is something that I've been craving - connection, sisterhood, feminine leadership. I already follow Tanya Lynn and Sistership Circle, so having her input right in the beginning told me that I was going to be in for an amazing treat with this book.

The exercises, from what I can see are awesome. We have some meditation and mantras - the first two are on raising your vibration, and the second one has us busting out the journals and pens. I do love a good journaling session!

I devoured this book in one night, and while the exercises will be something to work through I am so glad I've gotten a heads up on all the wonderful things to come. All women should read this book - time to rise up!
