First book from this author I have read and I loved it. Setting is different and the characters are interesting. The setting for the book being a stationary store was very new and creative. I can't wait to read more from Vivian Conroy and more in this series. Very well written and a fun new setting for a series.

Thanks to some money from her grandma Delta is new co-owner with her friend Hazel when things go wrong during one of their classes at the local hotel and Hazel's brother is suspected of murder. Delta and her new friend Jonas are set on clearing him and getting on with being a new shop owner.

As the new co-owner of Tundish Montana's stationery shop WANTED, Delta Douglas knows how to organize a killer crafting event. Creativity and cardstock are all she needs to move one step closer to her ultimate dream: developing her own line of crafting products. But on the night of the workshop, at the swanky hotel venue, glitter isn't the only thing found sprawled on the floor. A hotel guest is discovered dead in the bar, and amid the confusion, Delta's best friend is suspected of the crime.

This is a fun cozy mystery and the beginning of a series with a "crafter" amateur sleuth. The setting and characters are well described and the plot has many twists and turns that will keep you guessing.

This book took me a moment to get into, but I am sure glad I stuck it out! The author might have a slow start, but throws you curve balls throughout to keep you on your toes! This book is full of engaging characters, a delightful setting, and a mystery that will leave you reeling the more is discovered. A series that I am definitely a fan of and cannot wait for more.

I gave this book a five star rating. Because it was one of the best Cozy mysteries I have read in awhile. It was given to me from Net Galley as an ARC.

The book was well written and the person who committed the murder was not discovered until the very end of the book, which kept me glued to the book until I found out "who dun it".

I plan on recommending this book to all my friends for a good fast read of a cozy mystery. The Main Character is Delta Douglas who is going to invest some money into her College room mates new Stationary store, Hazel is waiting for Delta to get to Montana to join her in the store.

They are planning to have some workshops in the town Hotel. But while at the first one that they are working at, A body is found at the Bar of the Hotel. This town is an old western town with lots of history. Their store is in the old Sheriff's office where there are still cells for prisoners. The ladies plan on using the prisoner cells for displaying some of their supplies.

Delta is obsessed in finding the murderer. Since this all happened on her first night in her new town. She is trying to find the killer because her friend Hazel and Hazel's brother are suspects and Delta knows that neither one of them has killed anyone.

This book is well worth the time to read!

Delta comes to small town Montana to get out of her rut and make her dream come true by partnering with her friend in operating a stationery store and giving classes. Just after the first class a rather wealthy woman with local connections is murdered and the friend's brother seems to be railroaded as primary suspect. Enter a former K9 handler/wildlife guide/photographer, a group of other shop owners who also want the right suspect arrested, and a substantial suspect pool. Let the sleuthing begin! Good plot complete with twists and red herrings. A good read!

What would you do if a family member gave you a financial windfall? When Delta’s grandmother gives her some money rather than waiting for her to inherit it, she has some choices to make on how to spend it. So she quit her job and moved to Tundish. Montana to become her friend’s business partner at Wanted, a stationery and paper crafting store.

Wanting her grandmother to see the return on her investment, Delta is eager to share pictures and updates to document her progress. But as soon as she arrives in town, her business partner is thrown in jail when she lies to protect her brother who is arrested for murder at a swanky party at the local hotel. Definitely not the story she wanted to share with her grandmother, but knowing she will see it eventually, she decides to tell her grandmother the truth. Soon Delta and the Paper Posse, the local crafting group, are hard at work trying to clear Hazel and her brother and find the real murderer.

Old West ambiance adds to the charm of this new series and delivers a solid first entry. Looking forward to the next visit to Tundish!

I’m a fan of this author and this book captured my attention from the beginning,
I consider myself a huge fan of paper and pens, so this particular story was very appealing.
I think the characters worked well together and the story itself flowed smoothly from the pages.

I really like the name of the shop and how the Paper Posse rallied around their own to solve the mystery. I’m excited to see what’s next for this series.

A charming town, strong characters, sit back and enjoy this cosy murder/mystery. Delta has to prove that her friends are not murderers and owning a craft shop and the descriptions of the town, adds to this appealing and delightful story. You won’t be disappointed.

Last Pen Standing is a fun mystery with charming characters and the perfect "who-dun-it". I haven't had the pleasure of reading many of the authors novels but I am excited to see where this series takes us and looking back at her former books.

I'm always looking for new crafting cozies so I was excited to see this one and found it to be a fun read. The setting of a paper craft store in an old jail is definitely different! Love the small town descriptions and the charming characters, looking forward to getting to know them more.

I am sorry to say that this was not my thing. I am a big cozy mystery lover, but something about this one just didn't click for me.

It might have been the stationery shop setting, which I don't particularly care about, but I also had trouble caring for the characters, especially the main character... I kinda found her irritating.

The writing style also wasn't my cup of tea, and I found it a little pretentious and not really enjoyable.

I am sorry for the negative review, it just wasn't my taste.

A new to me author that I enjoyed! I love to read crafting mysteries and this paper craft store setting was a fun read!

Delta and her friend Hazel are co-owners of Wanted, a charming paper crafts store located in the old sheriff's jail in Tundish, Montana, a tourist town located in the old West. After Delta moves to the town a murder occurs and Hazel and her brother Finn become prime suspects. Now Delta has to prove them innocent or lose her friend and dream of owning a store forever.

The description of the store, town and it's citizens was charming. Like all small towns, there's always something going on under the surface! Delta is determined to solve the murder and get her friend & dream back. I enjoyed the interaction between the characters and while there is a little romance, it's not overwhelming.

I'm looking forward to the next visit to Wanted!

I received an ARC, from NetGalley for a fair and honest review of this book.
