Romantic and fun with football

This was fun and romantic, with forbidden love in a college setting. I loved that Jess grew up in a football environment as daughter of a coach. Fans of football will enjoy this closed-door romance.
An attempted rape is mentioned, as well as an assault a character references. Anger (and anger management) is mentioned, as well as references to verbal and physical abuse.
There is mild innuendo, kissing (makeouts). This was a closed-door romance, I would rate it PG-13 for the topics mentioned above, innuendo, and kissing.

I really appreciated that this was a clean romance. Fun, flirty, but clean. I will read other books by this author in the future for sure.

Sooo.. this was cute. Cute characters, cute dialogue, cute story.
Thing is, that's about all I have to say about the book. That and complain about how it could have been cut short by like half its page count and still managed to convey all the important bits.
In the beginning, I enjoyed and believed Jess and Logan's chemistry, but in the end, their courtship was so drawn out that I just didn't care anymore when finally something did happen between them (and quite anticlimatically, I might add).

Yeah, that about sums up my thoughts on this book. Not a bad one. Not a good one, either.

Another perfect book from this author. I love football and a flirty romance with a struggling football star and a darling girl, what a read! Logan and Jess are explosively fun characters and I loved their chemistry.

I can’t say enough about how I appreciate a CLEAN author who knows how to write comedy and tension! The way she always delivers on humor and building to steamy kisses is always perfection! If you’re looking for a fun and entertaining story with characters you’ll love - look no further!

I received an arc of this title from NetGalley for an honest review. Cute, romantic sports novel that tackles some pretty difficult subjects and there may be several trigger warnings for people.

This book was just another rinse repeat of all the sport romances that are available everywhere, and honestly, even though the writing was pretty good, the plot failed the book.

Logan Hunt had one more chance to make it. His temper caused him an early exit and his dreams of making it the NFL was something he may never achieve. This chance to make it was all he has left and falling the rules was something he had to follow. He didn’t have an issue following the rules until Jess no longer was a friend he became so much more. Suddenly his future was in danger of being intercepted.

This is a fun, angsty, chemistry-filled college romp! Logan and Jess have both been through some rough things in their pasts, and have both changed in fundamental ways. I liked the depth to their characters and the great banter. There were also things I didn't really get about them, but it made the story interesting even if it prevented me from fully connecting with the characters. There's tons of romantic tension as Logan helps Jess get Ben while falling for her himself, and Jess is slow on the uptake to figure out what she really wants and needs. I love the idea of a valued coach working at a junior college and recruiting players who need a second chance, sending them back into the big leagues more prepared for life.

I loved the characters and the storyline development of this book. It was absolutely one of my favorites so far and I can't wait to delve in to the next one that this author writes. The storyline was simple, enjoyable, and entertaining.

I was looking for a jock-college romance, and this was the perfect read for me. I was actually surprised to find this book was really sweet and cute, it was not what I was expecting, but I am definitely not complaining! It’s fast paced, and the angst of this book kept me going, I ended up reading this in a day. It has very well marked tropes, “friends to love” and “forbidden love” and if you like this tropes as much as I do, you will for sure like this book. This was the first Sariah Wilson book I’ve read, and I am looking forward to read more.

I love Sariah Wilson’s she has done it again her books are always flirty fun reads. This is the first book in this great series! They clean which makes them even better to read.

Synopsis:
Disgraced college quarterback Logan Hunt was on his way to NFL stardom when he messed up big-time. Now the Texas star player with a bad temper has a new option: Seattle’s EOL College—as in End of the Line, to his fellow misfit recruits. It’s Logan’s last chance. If he can follow the rules. No parties, no fighting, no swearing, and oh, no dating the coach’s daughter, Jess. Simple. Yeah, right. For Logan, there has never been a rule he’s more tempted to break.

The deal is “just friends.” The pretty, confident, and fiercely smart math whiz is fine with pizza, tutoring, and keeping Logan in line. But the closer Jess gets, the more receptive she is to his warm heart and spirit—not to mention his irresistible off-field passes. With defenses down, they’re both heading into the danger zone.

It’s more than thrilling. It’s love. It’s also a game changer that could sideline Logan’s NFL goals—and more important, a future with Jess. But dreams are worth fighting for, right?

The Friend Zone is the first book in the End of the Line series by Sariah Wilson. I really like this author and this book wasn't an exception.

I love a good book about a football player, and this did not disappoint! Logan is a college quarterback who dreams of the NFL. He “screws up big time” and has to follow some simple rules in order to get his second chance. Can he follow these rules and make it back?
Thanks to Netgalley, the author and publisher for a copy of this book in exchange for a fair and honest review.

I’ve read many variations of this trope over the years but one thing that stood out was how the characters went about falling in love.

Logan and Jessica start their relationship as friends after Logan is recruited to the college where Jessica’s dad works as a football coach. Logan’s dreams have been to get drafted into the NFL after being born on the wrong side of the track and having little to nothing including food while growing up. Jessica on the other hand after going through something traumatic on her freshman year of college wants nothing to do with men and with her father’s rules of no man in his team dating... things get kinda complicated for our two main characters.

They soon learn though that staying friends when their are feelings involved is easier said than done in a lot of cases. When everything comes out into the open both Jessica and Logan have to decide if their love is worth potentially losing everything they’d worked so hard for.

A great story about second chances and finding that one person who will believe in you no matter what.

Logan has one last chance to prove to everyone especially NFL that he is serious and not a liability. He is at End of the Line college and needs to make this work in order to move on, but will he be able to hold his temper in and follow the rules? When he meets Jess, he thinks maybe she can help him not only in school but also as a friend. The problem though, is as they are beginning to become close they are starting to have feelings for one another. But there is one huge problem, Jess is the coaches daughter and is off limits. Logan and Jess will have to figure out a way to either stay friends and Logan can stay on the team, or they can break the rules and put Logan’s future in jeopardy.
