Great companion for our daily bible reading time. as the name says it these devotions are short, with a specific theme all of the theme center in our heart. There are several things I like about this devotion: 1. Relatable for a different type of woman, 2. The use of different Bible version 3. Easy and practical language, 4. On each devotion, you find an invitation to improve your relationship with God, others or maybe your view of a particular situation, 5. It could be read at any time of the day.

I recommend this book to anyone who wants to deeper in their relationship with God in a practical way this devotion is a great choice.

Specifically written to only take 3 minutes for each devotion this is a nice reminder that God loves us.

This devotional book has a very nice design for each day. It begins with a scripture verse followed with a brief devotional thought on that verse. There is then a short prayer to close the day’s reading. These devotions are just right for those moments when you need a dose of encouragement to help you get through the day. I liked the author’s selection of topics and her thoughts on those topics. This book would make a good gift for women of all ages.

It's always nice to have books like this when you need some positivity in your life. I would recommend this one to anyone who wants to have some good uplifting stories!

Pros: This book is delightful, and “warm” is not good enough to describe what i just read. I highlighted several passages, and it made for great companionship with my Bible. A must for those of us that are looking for something quick to turn our frowns upside down. A wonderful read indeed.

Cons: None! I will place this in my arsenal of books, and highly recommend it to the library as well.

Very good book for those people who feel their lives are to busy to read the Bible daily. Using varying versions of scripture is a nice change as most people stick to one version and that aspect will keep people from simply skimming over it. The scriptures used really bring home reminders of how we should be growing in the Lord with examples of how to proceed with our goals or make new ones. This book is a great tool for soul searching and developing a spirit-filled life.

This is a very nice devotional. Each day has a bible verse, a devotion and it ends with a prayer. They are short and deal with things we deal with everyday. This is a wonderful way to start your day. We live in a world where we are constantly told to work faster, be more productive and fit more in. I love that this book encourages us to take time out daily to simply be, to spend time to reflect on a Bible verse and to spend time praying. By taking 3 minutes daily, we are able to have a touchstone to our everyday life being guided by God and His Word. It is a very prescriptive text (it tells you a prayer to say and I think it could have been nicer to make a suggestion of prayer but also acknowledge each person's autonomy for praying how they wish to). It is a lovely starter text for those who want to begin reading the Bible but are unsure where to start.
