Just Like You by Alison Percival is a taut psychological thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat. A delicious sense of uneasiness settles in and refuses to be shaken. This one will give you chills.

Told from the alternating perspectives of Isabel and Nicky, we meet two very different women who are connected by the same man, Iain Stewart. Isabel is in love with Iain, but is frustrated by the unwanted and negative attention she is receiving as a byproduct of Iain's recognizability as an actor of some repute. Nicky is obsessed with Iain, and fixates on the unsuspecting Isabel with escalating intensity.

This is a dark tale of jealousy, obsession, and the potentially evil capacity and reach of social media. I devoured this novel and continue to feel a little unsettled after turning the final page, always the sign of an effective thriller in my book. Highly recommended, this is an author to watch.

Many thanks to NetGalley and Quercus Books for this exciting ARC.

I received an advanced readers copy in exchange for an honest review

Just meh. None of the characters are likeable or make sense, the narrative and the mystery do not really engage, I was glad to put it down.
