Seems like a really good read. I'm loving the protagonist, she seems like a good we'll rounded character.

I only got to read the first five chapters; it ended when it was just getting really interesting! The witty banter was fun, and I liked how it looked like this was going to be a slow burn relationship. Also, in the first five chapters at least, Stuntman Mike in the book seems a lot better-behaved than he is in real life. :) I can't wait to read the rest!

In just five chapters I’m already loving these characters. Kristen is so unapologetically herself and I love that about her. She’s witty and smart. I found myself laughing out loud a few times already (the slogans on her dog’s shirts!) I can’t wait to dive into the rest of this one.

I really liked the first few chapters of “The Friend Zone”, so I’ll probably pick up the book when it’s out in a few months.

I've been in a romcom kind of mood lately and this title caught my eye. It's fun, whitty, and you can feel the sexual tension between the two characters. I wish this was a full book because I'm bummed I don't get to read on with the rest of their story.

I absolutely loved this extended preview of The Friend Zone. The banter between Josh and Kristen was so fun to read, the dialogue was great and the chemistry was off the charts. I can already tell that the full length book will make me laugh, make me swoon and probably make me cry. I instantly fell in love with Josh as a character - the way he connected with Kristen immediately and secretly hopes she’ll be single soon was awesome and a breath of fresh air for romance novels. Kristen was also great, and it seems like she’s dealing with a lot at the moment.

I’m definitely looking forward to reading the full length book when it comes out! Though the subjects are very different, the vibe of The Friend Zone reminded me of The Hating Game, and that book is one of my all-time favorites.

Abby is a master of words and just in these few short chapters, she’s got me hooked on the story! Her characters are so endearing and I can’t wait to see how this one shakes out!

Kristen is a no-nonsense, loyal, sarcastic woman. When she meets the best man in her best friend's wedding (she's the maid of honor), it seems like he'd be the perfect match for her. But one thing Josh has made very clear is that he wants a big family, and Kristen recently found out she will need a surgery making it impossible to have children.

Five chapters in and I'm already hooked! I can tell that this is going to be such a great novel -- full of fun, sexy romance but also with a deeper side delving into topics like infertility, family and loss. The playful, sarcastic banter between Kristen and Josh is electric off the page and yo know it will lead to a fun dynamic between the two. I can't wait to read the whole novel to see how it all plays out!

I am hooked! Personally, I think the first chapter wasn't the strongest opening, but it was necessary to set up the rest of the story. And the story is good! Car accident to mutual friends to co-workers; and she has a boyfriend and he has baggage. I can't wait to read the rest of the book!

Also, I can't tell you how much I love that she wrote her dog into the story. Stuntman Mike is my favorite.

This five chapter preview of The Friend Zone by Abby Jimenez was just enough to sufficiently peak my interest, and leave me wanting more. I am curious to see how things will play out between Josh and Kristen when Tyler returns from his deployment. Will Josh, at least temporarily, be relegated to the dreaded 'friend zone'? I will be watching for this one closer to its publication date, as I can't bear to be left hanging!

Wow! Josh and Kristen...your characters already have my heart!! This extended preview was perfect for generating interest in this book! I am absolutely hooked on this story and cannot wait for it to release so I can see how everything plays out! Truly, this book had my attention from page one and I was sad when I got to the end of chapter five and realized that was it....for now.

Literally read this in 0.5 seconds and I'm ready for more! I'm already in love with Josh and Kristin, and I cannot wait to get my hands on this book!

OMG, I need more! I’m already hooked on the budding friendship/potential relationship of Josh and Kristen. Their banter and honesty between each other is addicting to watch. I can’t wait to read this one in its entirety.

Incredible read. The writing is so witty and natural. The characters are all relatable. Even though they are all describe as really attractive people they are all so humanly flawed. You really believe they could be your neighbors or coworkers. It definitely left me wanting more.

So this was a decent teaser with 5 chapters available on netgalley and I have to say I can not wait until this book is out! Fingers crossed I can score it some how before it releases because I just need to finish it! Sarcasm, a hot fireman and Stuntman Mike....what more could you ask for? I highly recommend the book thus far and look forward to release day!
