Misogyny, Projective Identification, and Mentalization is a very interesting psychological perspective on how the culture constantly favors men over women. Even going so far as to shun women who contributed greatly in favor of protecting the reputation of others . The author goes into several historical examples as to how the phenomenon has been going on for decades and how it's relevant today.
