It Won't be Christmas Without You, the latest romantic comedy by Beth Reekles, follows Eloise and Cara, two sisters on opposite ends of the Christmas spirit spectrum. Eloise is determined to have a perfect holiday, organizing the school nativity play and constantly listening to her Michael Bublé playlist. Meanwhile, Cara has all but given up on Christmas spirit and instead plans to work and focus on her complicated relationship with her boyfriend George.
This heartwarming story highlights the importance of family during the holiday season. Eloise's joy is infectious and it eventually reaches Cara in spite of her insistence to remain distant. Through unexpected obstacles, the two sisters ultimately rekindle their close bond and realize how much Christmas truly means to them. With unexpected plot twists and colorful characters, It Won't be Christmas Without You is a delightfully enjoyable read for everyone. Fans of the Netflix romantic comedy The Kissing Booth won't want to miss out on this book!

It Won’t Be Christmas Without You was a book I was really looking forward to (even though it took me quite some time to finally pick up), but in the end I was really disappointed. I read a review saying that they were expecting a lighthearted cozy read and basically got a lot of drama. I have to agree. Both characters complained most of the book and I didn’t really get must festive cheer until the last couple of chapters.
Super cute story and I love the holiday theme of this one. Cute and cozy. Very easy to read and a safe story. Happy ending and some funny parts.
It Won't Be Christmas Without You was an absolutely adorable Christmas story. It was short, sweet, and had likeable characters and relationships. Cara's workaholic tendencies occasionally made me want to shake her and tell her to get a life, but Eloise was Christmas obsessed and easy to relate to. If you are looking for a quick Christmas read, this is it.
I really enjoyed this festive read, I love how different the sisters were but also how close they could be. And although the story was a little repetitive, I think it was short enough to not be too much of a problem!
The sisters had a very realistic relationship, and I did like their back and forth.
However, the story did follow the usual workaholic Christmas story so it may not be for everyone but I really enjoyed that it wasn't too much about their love interests and more about family.
I really struggled to like the main characters and didn’t get into it at all. Unfortunately I didn’t finish it.
Cara, with her workaholic attitude struck a bit of a chord with me. I've been known to suffer from that particular affliction, too.
However, the story is about more than missing Christmas - it's about the choices we make, the importance we put on special occasions and the love of our families. This is a journey of discovering what is really important.
This is a perfect book for the holiday season, packed with Christmas love and cheer. I truly enjoyed reading this book because it upped my mood and spirits and helped me remember the reason and magic of the holiday season. I would highly recommend adding this book to your holiday reading list; it is like reading a Hallmark movie!
This was a quick, enjoyable Christmas read! It reminded me a lot oh the Hallmark movies that come around during Christmas time which I also enjoy! I was a tad confused with the dual perspectives in the beginning but I think they worked really well for this story.
This was a cute, fast-paced Christmas novel that, while it lacked a certain depth that made me connect to it, I enjoyed overall. Definitely a cute Christmas romance that got me into the Christmas spirit!

I can't believe I forgot to write a review for this urgh!
Back in December and January I read quite some Christmas books. I love Christmas and this is a book from the author of the Netflix romcom The Kissing Booth, which I enjoyed. But this book felt just average to me (although I would totally see a movie of it! So, finger crossed Netflix adapts it!).
It's a cute and quick read but I had some problems distinguishing the two main characters? It took me some time to fully assimilate who was who and being a short read, that's not a good thing.
Other than that it was a very cute and sweet Christmas book with a side of romance - which I was all in for-, the importance of family and sisterhood. I became very invested in the characters' adventures through the Christmas days and the love that started to bloom.
I also really enjoyed the format of the novel - counting the days - it felt super exciting to me. Overall this is a quick easy Christmassy read that I would love to see on screen!
This is a fun Christmas read. I enjoyed it and can report that Christmas lovers will feel the same. Quick read and completely enjoyable.
I thought this one was cute. It could have been better, and had a ton of potential, the author could have made it longer and ditched the novella and made it safe more depth. I give it 3 stars. Great concept.
Although I've read this after Christmas it didn't fail to give me Christmas vibes and I see this story being adapted as a cute Netflix movie.
So adorable and full of Christmas spirit and charm with the cutest romance that had my heart swooning this was perfect for reading curled up sipping some cocoa if you love wintry books and cute romance this is up your alley!
A super quick and light-hearted read that I'll be sure to come back to next Christmas! I absolutely love Christmas romances and the holiday itself (so I found myself identifying with Eloise quiet a lot!) and this really made me feel all the festive feels!
A great Christmas story. I stayed in one weekend and enjoyed this cuddled up nice and warm. It was the perfect Christmas feels and romance. Such well written characters and you really root for everyone.

This book was a brilliant read and one that is perfect to escape for a few hours and loose yourself.
Characters that fall out of the pages of the book and make you fell apart of the story, the setting is lovely and captured well with words.
A great read. that I would highly recommend.
This was fun and light, a great little christmas read but not a must read or anything I will feel the need to pick up again. But maybe that's what makes Christmas reads so special?
