Saint by Chantal Fernando has become one of my favorite reads. Loved the characters and the story line was gripping, page turning.

A 5 STAR READ.

4.5 Stars. Really enjoyed this book. Skylar is familiar with the MC lifestyle as she grew up around it. She develops a crush on the sexy Saint and the timing just isn’t right... until it is.

The plot was interesting with good development and characterization. The focus was on the development of the relationship instead of how it relates to the MC and I liked that. I found myself pleased to see that Skylar’s reactions weren’t just complacency, that she allowed herself to feel things like disappointment, anger, and pain towards loved ones. It made her more dynamic. Similarly, Saint wasn’t this perfect hero who didn’t make mistakes.

The pace and style of the author’s writing was executed well. I felt that there was consistency in the overall quality of the story. I am genuinely excited to read the next book.

Complimentary copy received and voluntarily reviewed.

What a wild ride of a story! Saint was so good and hot alpha. Skylar has always been in love with Saint since she was a little girl. Coming back to the MC world to be with her family has Skylar so happy. Coming back to Saint makes it even better. Saint just has to do the gauntlet of his Prez to get the girl of his dreams.

An all new series by an author that truly understands the world of MCs and has such a way with words that it never ceases to amaze me that she can bring an outsider into that world and make it all seem so normal. I thoroughly enjoyed the last series I read by this author, though it was my first foray into her work, and was thrilled to know that she was beginning a new series. This story revolves around a young woman that was once a treasured princess in a MC and was pulled from that life by her money-grubbing and selfish mother when she was a teen. Those years changed a lot for her and she never forgot the first man she loved as a father or the first boy she crushed on, so when her past reaches out to her in the form of a letter, throwing her for a loop and forcing her to confront her past and work through all the lies, she embraces the chance to change her life and finally live her life for herself. When she returns to her childhood home, looking for answers from her former stepfather, she never actually imagined she would run into Saint but when she does the draw is irrefutable and he is even more—everything—than she remembers him being. Saint once looked at Skylar as the princess that was off limits but drew his eye, and he was biding his time, until suddenly she was gone from his life, but once she back and willing to listen to the truth, all bets are off. Saint is an enigma to be sure, but I loved getting to know him and see him as he convinces Skylar to give him and his club a chance to be a part of her life and prove that he is the perfect man for her. Again and again he surprised her with his thoughtfulness and sweetness, hidden just under the sexy badass that makes him the perfect biker. Skylar was a bit naïve and immature, but her youth makes that forgivable, but thankfully she both grows up and matures a lot in this story making her much more likeable and a perfect foil for Saint. She also makes me exceptionally proud of her several times when she tells her mother off and proves that she isn’t going to continue to live under her control and let her past be her future. The heat between Skylar and Saint is apparent from the first second they clap eye on another again and each time they are together the fire only grows more out of control, but Saint is controlled enough that he can lead his woman into the fire and safely out the other side. I am looking forward to the next story in this series and seeing who falls in love next and what might be coming for this club, but no matter what I imagine it will be interesting and sensual, giving me a fun experience to read.

Skylar grew up with the Knights of Fury MC as a family. Her mother was dating Hammer, the president of the Knights of Fury MC, and she loved him like a father. But when things end badly between her mother and Hammer, Sky is taken away from her family and friends.
Five years later, without contact with anyone from the MC, Sky receives a letter from Saint, her childhood crush, her first kiss, and a member of the MC. He's in prison and misses Sky. They start writting to each other and Sky decides to contact Hammer and the MC. But her mother doesn't want Sky connected to the MC and will do anything to keep Sky away from the only family she's ever known. Will Sky follow her heart? What secrets have her mother and the MC hidden from her? Will she finally have her chance with Saint?

I love MC romances and Chantal Fernando did not disappoint with Saint! Sky and Saint's love story is filled with drama, action, secrets, surprises, twists, and incredible heat and chemistry between these two phenomenal characters. The book hooked me from the first page and I couldn't put my Kindle down until I reached the last page.

If you're looking for a action packed MC romance, with lots of emotions and sexy scenes, Saint is the book for you!

***4 Stars***

This was a really interesting and fun read. Things did get cray cray, it is an MC romance after all, but it all ended up making perfect sense and has me looking to get my hands on the next book in the series sooner rather than later.

I really liked both Saint and Skylar. Saint is a really good man. He’s loyal, honorable and really sweet. Sky is finding herself. Her life hasn’t been horrible, but it hasn’t been great either. She is sweet, sassy and I loved watching as she figured out just how strong she really was.

Their journey to the HEA was a lot of fun. The connection between them was apparent from the start and I loved seeing their bond grow and become stronger. Their bantering was a lot of fun and the swoon worthy and smexy moments were awesome. The drama, between them at least, was on the low end of the spectrum, where it wasn’t OTT, but just enough to keep things interesting and I loved how everything worked out for them.

I’ve had my ups and downs with a couple of this authors books in the past, so I had my toes crossed that this one would be land on the up side in the end, and it did. The writing was engaging, the pacing good and though I do wish we’d had Saint’s POV a little bit, I didn’t mind being in Sky’s head the entire time. And as for the secondary characters, I loved getting to know them all ~ Temper is the one I’m most fascinated with ~ but they were all well written and I loved getting to know almost all of them (One I definitely wanted to gut with a spoon.) and I’m looking forward to diving back into this world!

Saint is the first novel in Chantal Fernando’s new MC series Knights of Fury and is a quick and engaging biker romance that will entertaining from beginning to end.

Five years ago, Skylar O’Conner lost the only father figure she had ever known when her mother took her and left her then husband----Sky’s stepfather and president of the Knights of Fury Motorcycle Club. Losing the love of her father and his band of brothers hurt but Sky has tried her best to put the past behind her; until she’s contacted by her childhood crush and Club member Saint who writes her a letter……from prison. Once upon a time Saint was Sky’s everything and she dreamed of the day when the older prospect would see her as more than just a schoolgirl with a crush. Hearing from him now reawakens not only the desire she once harboured as a girl, but all the questions Sky has about why she mother and her left. As Sky sets out to find out the truth, Saint’s steadfast love and loyalty may be the only thing that will keep her up when her whole world begins crashing down.

I have to be honest; I don’t read a lot of biker novels. I know that MC novels have become widely popular in recent times, but of the ones I’ve given a go I find them too vulgar and violent for my tastes. So I tend to steer clear of them, but not Chantal Ferdando’s novels. I love the way she is able to blend the drama and angst of a MC novel with a passionate love story. Fernando manages to write sex, drama and passion perfectly as far as I’m concerned. I don’t hesitate to pick up one of her MC novels and having adored the Wind Dragon’s MC and Cursed Ravens MC, I’m always super excited to discover she has a new one coming out.

Which leads me to Saint, the first novel in her new Knights of Fury MC series and the start of what I have no doubt is going to be another fabulous biker series with tangible characters and camaraderie to die for. Told through the eyes of twenty-one year old Skylar, Saint is an entertaining and enjoyable romance. A quick but well told story, Saint follows likable characters and has all the drama, angst, sizzling and sex readers could want.

Protagonist Sky was easy to follow. Her family situation was all kinds of messed up. Despite being a sweet albeit somewhat naïve person, the way in which Sky was treated by her mother was heartbreaking. A parent—especially a mother—is meant to be there to protect their child and instead Sky’s mother was a jealous and resentful woman whose actions towards her daughter were abhorrent. I felt so bad for Sky and couldn’t understand how her mother could treat her as she did. The saddest part is that I know this happens in real life, so I found myself appreciating the happiness Sky found all the more for that.

I’m really excited for Chantal Fernando to continue this series. She’s already introduced me to club members I’m genuinely looking forward to seeing feature; Renny, Dee, Temper….I think they will all make great leading men when their time comes and I can’t wait to see it happen. Fun, romance and effortless reading, Saint was a great kickstart to a new MC series from Chantal Fernando!

3 Saint Stars

I love MC books and when I heard Chantal Fernando had a new MC series, Knights of Fury I was excited to give it a go. I only recently started reading Chantal's books and really enjoy her books.

Saint tells the story of Skylar and Saint. Sky is feisty and independent and has had a crush on Saint, a man she hadn’t seen in five years from the time she was a child. After being taken from everything she knew at sixteen by her disgruntled mother she hasn't seen or heard anything from the Knights of Fury, until one day she gets a letter from Saint who is in prison and she is pulled back into his world. The chemistry between Sky and Saint is of the charts.

“Happiness is the wind in my hair and a road trip leading to a fresh start.”

This started of so exciting and I was so wrapped up in the pages, but it started to lag for me at parts. The dropped stars where for a few different reasons, one being I felt Skylar came off as immature at parts and this was annoying to me. I also felt some of the story was rushed, Her mother and who things ended with her and I also think #the story could have been more developed with her brothers.

Overall I did enjoy it and will read more from the series.

Excellent fun and action packed read.

After reading Chantal Fernando's Wind Dragon MC (Which is the BEST MC series in all the land, sea and space) I was excited to read more MC stories from the same author.

Sky is intelligent and a bit naive. Saint is sweet and protective.

I really enjoyed the insta connection between Saint and Sky and how real the relationship felt through out the story.

I enjoyed the action packed pages with some cut throat villains thrown in for fun twists.

All up a great addition to the works of Chantal Fernando and I cannot wait to read more from this author and this series.

This was a great start to the series. You really get to know the MC family and Skyler's family in this book. I mean the author knows how to draw you in and make you want to be apart of the families. Skyler has a batshit crazy mother.. She is one of these women who has to have a man and when she gets tired of him, she drops him and moves on. She took Skyler out of the clubhouse and into the country. The good thing is despite what her mom's hope was it didn't work out like she wanted. Skyler knew who loved her and accepted her. Saint was her love. They had a strong connection and a friendship. It hurt when she was ripped out of his life but he went on. Fast forward a few years and she has moved back. She's trying to get a relationship with her brothers and her "dad" Hammer. She knows where she belongs in life. This group of MCers really do have a family aspect and support each other in the thick and thin. They push Skyler to do do what she wants and loves in life. When it comes to Saint, they all knew they had a connection and love. Saint is amazing! I mean he loves her so strong and will do anything to protect her. This book has its moments of happiness, craziness and sadness. It was a great book and I can't wait to read more from this series!

The beginning of a new series sees Skylar returning to the place she grew up, looking for answers as to why no one came looking for her after her mum abruptly made her leave 5 years earlier, and what happened to make her leave in the first place. She thought at least maybe Hammer, the man she thought of as her dad, would come looking for her but instead, as MC President, he put the club first and let her leave. She is determined to find out the truth though, and is planning to see Hammer, then search out Saint; a member of the MC that she had crushed on through most of her teenage years. When Saint makes an appearance, she soon discovers her feelings weren't unreciprocated after all, Saint just wanted to wait for her to grow up. Will Skylar and Saint get the chance to be together after all this time apart? Will she get the answers she's looking for? Will she even be able handle the truth?

I really enjoyed this and yet again Chantal Fernando looks to be writing another great MC series. I can't wait for the next one and to see where she's going to take it. I give Saint 4 stars.

** spoiler alert **

I’m sorry... but this synopsis is kind of deceiving. I was expecting a (Little) forbidden kind of love story. And what I got was a hot mess of things getting thrown in.
This book was going so good! A solid 5 stars.... until I got to the part where I find out Skylar is a 21 year old virgin.

Huhhh...why?

And of course the VERY few guys she dated were never the one. (Because she was still pining away for Saint!)
Besides a few wondering hands on her body from one of those few guys.... she is the ultimate virgin! Not even touched down south!

Please!!!ughhhh I absolutely hate this in a book!

And of course... Saint wasn’t a virgin. He’s been with lots and lots of women.

Ok... I was still in this book. I wasn’t happy about the whole virgin thing. But I was still keeping an open mind. Then we get a bomb dropped about Skylar’s mom. It was out there. But I was still in.

But once Saint’s bomb dropped. I was out! I just was over it. At this point I felt everyone treated Skylar like a child still. Keeping things from her for her own good. Was just dumb. Skylar constantly getting upset and crying then just forgiving everything was aggravating.

“He has a child. While he’s been my firsts for everything, my first kiss, my first lover, and one day I thought the father of my children, I was none of those to him. I wasn’t his first kiss, his first lover, and I didn’t give him his first child."
“You saved nothing for me,” I whisper, feeling empty all of a sudden.”

I did feel Saint’s secret was too much for me. Having a kid from someone else just didn’t work. I was over it. Skylar was this barley touched person. I wanted her to have something. I was feeling them as a whole couple. But I just couldn't get past it. Then she sleeps with him like the next day! There goes her V-card!

Nope... I wasn't feeling it.

Maybe if he had said something earlier. Before things got serious. Maybe during his time in prison whe he was writing her letters. But no... nothing was said at all. Which was wrong.

I didn’t like what happened to Hammer. It didn’t feel right. I felt his ending should’ve been different. Skylar's mom got away with everything. Which was dumb.

The forbiddeness in this book was a single kiss at 16 (Saint was 21.). It was just a quick kiss (no tongue!). Because she was being ripped away from the only family she’s ever known. And Saint knew he wasn’t going to see her again. That’s it! Then nothing for 5 years.

The prison letters were not what I was expecting. I thought it was going to be a bigger thing. But they were small letters and very few. It was a let down. It didn’t even last long.
I thought it would’ve been a bigger focus because of the synopsis. But... nope. It wasn’t.

And of course... it seems like all of Chantal Fernando book’s now have a little mention or crossover from her other series. Hunter from Conflict of Interest series is the lawyer who is helping Saint with his baby mama drama.
I honestly don’t know why there needs to be any mention of other series in all her books now.

I absolutely loved the Wind Dragon series in the beginning. Books 5 on down.... I started to struggle with them. Then I took a chance on her Conflict of Interest series. I loved the first book. After that... The rest of the series was up and down.
The crossovers for me was the killer of that series. It just didn’t work. Now this! A completely new series and here we are... I hope there’s no crossover with the Wind Dragon in this new series.

I’m sad to say this. I was stepping back from this author’s work. But Saint sucked me in. Unfortunately.... I’m definitely not going to continue with anymore of her books. This book was out of control. It literally had everything I hate in books. And I just don’t want to continue giving her bad reviews. So I’m stepping back.

The Details:
- 18+
- MC Romance/Contemporary Romance
- Series (1st book)
- Can be read on its own
- Ugly Cry Warning - Bring Tissues!

Chantal Fernando, I hope you take this for the sincere compliment that it is: when I received an advanced copy of Saint, I put down, I repeat, I put down the new Christine Feehan book that I'd been reading and immediately started reading Saint! That was how much I'd been looking forward to reading this book and it was definitely worth it.
Ever since the announcement that Chantal Fernando was bringing out a new MC romance series, I've been excited and reading the blurb for this book only escalated that excitement.
Saint definitely met every one of my expectations.
Sweet but sexy with lots of steamy romantic scenes.
This book is packed full of drama, angst, suspense and twists that will leave you reeling.
Saint filled my heart with joy and sorrow and many, many tears were shed.
With that said, I'm eagerly awaiting the next book in the series and as with any book of Chantal's that I've read, this book was an addictive, immersive read with easy to connect to characters and a world that I never wanted to leave.
Great Book.
Highly Recommended

This was a great book !

Chantal Fernando begins a brand new series with this book. I loved the main couple in this MC romance. Sky was the spunky heroine who returned to her club family in search of the truth .... only to find betrayal and dark secrets around every corner. She really had such tough time that I had to wonder if there would be a happy ending waiting at the end for her and Saint. Saint was a good biker hero .... sexy, flawed, and super protective.

I enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more in the series.

The premise of this story was decent, I mean, I love a biker romance. But then things just went OTT. It just wasn't executed well. It lacked fluidity and felt very... amateur. I also struggled big time with the writing style. I almost dnf'd several times, then just decided to skim through. But the dialogue is so unnatural for a biker romance. It was rough getting through this. I think the author's work is just not my cup of tea.

First loves are the hardest to forget and let go. This new spin off series from Ms. Fernando can be read as a standalone. It is better reading the other series for some of the nuances between the different motorcycle clubs. Warning, this one is a bit more heart wrenching than some of the other books Ms. Fernando has written.

Skylar is a sweet kid who is loved by her father "Hammer". He's the president of his motorcycle club. Skylar's young life is filled with fun as her playmates and sometimes babysitters are tough MC members. Once in a while, a young probbie may have to mind her. One would think Skylar's brothers would be involved more in her life. She is the youngest of 6. She also knows her brothers are half siblings when her mother had a different life. When things are still going well, all of a sudder her mother fights with Hammer and drags her away into the country and away from all things Motorcycle related. This becomes Skylar's hell on earth as everyone who showered her with love and she loved back are torn away from her.

Hitting her late teens and wishing to go off to college, Skylar is disappointed to learn her mother saved no money for her and instead of wishing her well, her mother kicks her out of the house. There is something fishy going on with Skylar's mother as each time her interaction is borderline hateful. It makes one wonder if Skylar is really her child. Skylar's paternity is unknown even if she called Hammer "father". Thinking of Hammer and how he abandoned her, Skylar decides to reconnect with her brothers and move back to the big city and maybe see Hammer. This starts the journey of cathartic epiphanies. The first one, that the motorcycle club never left her and in fact were waiting for her to become a legal adult to reconnect.

Of all the MC stories by Ms. Fernando, this is the most tragic to date. The amount of sacrifice for the love of a child of the heart is moving. Whilst Skylar may only experience horrid treatment at the hands of her mother… the same can not be said of all the men in her life. Men who stayed in the shadows to protect her. Men who have been kept away from her by a jealous old hag. My heart cries out for Skylar and how she's been misled and then cheated out of her time with loved ones. This pain and suffering makes the book more memorable for me. I loved Skyler and her attitude and her ability to keep trucking on. She may not have a solid foundation built on love for the majority of her life, but when her little bit during her development years made a difference. Every child deserves love and Skyler is an example of one who should have received it.

Skylar's story doesn't stop at find Hammer again. It is also with finding Saint, her childhood crush. Yes, this is a romance story and there are sexy interludes. For me, this subplot took a back seat to the cause of discontent between Skylar's mother and Skylar. The bad blood between Hammer's MC and another MC is all revealed and it is a doozy. As they say, there are 3 reason why people commit murder: sex, money and revenge. When the trifecta is hit, it becomes a slaughter. This warfare is bloody and takes some before their time and leaves others who should be brutally slain.

This motorcycle club romance is recommended to readers who like tear jerkers themes.
