Saint by Chantal Fernando 3.5/5

This is a new MC series by Chantal Fernando. I liked it. It was sweet with a bit of grit. I've always found Chantal's MC on the light side, however it doesn't stop me from liking her MC series.

The men aren't quite alpha and rough enough for me and at times they come across at bit too sweet for men from this world but it still works.

Sky was brought up in the MC world, and as a teenager she developed a large crush on a fresh prospect for the Knights of Fury MC.

Sky's mom is bat shit crazy and takes Sky away from the only family she knows. Now five years later and Sky is learning some truths she didn't realize before, plus she's reunited with Saint who can now show that he too had feelings for Sky but she was too young.

I thought the youngness and naivety of Sky was written well. Saint and Sky were good together and I did quite like the other boys of the MC especially Hammer. I will continue to read this series.

I love loved this book! Skyler and Saint’s story is written over time we get to see different periods through their lives through their eyes. Skyler is heartbroken at the age of 16 her mother makes them move when her relationship with Hammer the president of the Knight of Fury MC ends; leaving the only father she has ever knew and Saint her crush. Fast forward 5 years later Skyler living with her best friend Max and working at a bar and Skyler can only tolerate her mother seeing each other once a week. Saint has never forgotten Skyler so when he ask Hammer for her address so he could write her while in prison he didn’t resized how his life would change. I’m leaving so much out because they’re so much you have to just READ!!

Thanks Netgalley for a copy of this book, here my honest review.

This is the first book in the new series I think this is the second book I've read by Chantal Fernando. I would say that the book is a good book. I give it 4 stars.
I liked it, kept me interested. Every time I had to put it down when life got in the way I couldn't wait to pick it up again. I like the idea First Love and second chances. I don't want to give too much away of the book but I loved Hammer , Saint and Temper. The only thing I didn't really like was Saint past, but at the same time it made the book more "real". And Sky's mom.... all I can say is Good Lord that woman. I can't even.

I can't wait to see what other boys in the MC get books also.

I'm torn with this one. This is my first read by this author and I really did like the story, just had a couple of little glitches here and there - for me anyway. Hovering between a 3.5-4...

To make matters worse, in the interest of not giving anything away, I can't really tell you what bothered me and why. Sorry? Since it's probably just a "me" thing, don't let that stop you from giving Saint a chance. For the record, it's not going to stop me from checking out the rest of the series. There were more than a couple of characters that I can't wait to get to know better.

There was a lot going on in Saint. A lot to love and a lot to hate. A sweet romance laced with plenty of heart break along with a generous side of mystery. Some of it was pretty obvious, but some of it I didn't see coming (hence the vagueness of this review.)

Guess who is back with another MC romance? That's right, Chantal Fernando. The queen in writing the most addicting MC romance stories. And she is bring us a brand new MC series to fall in love with. It's Saint and it is going to make you fall in love with MC biker again. Let's start with Skylar and Saint persona.
Skylar. She was a sweetheart as child that she was going to be a heart breaker when she grows up. It was too bad that she was ripped from the MC from her crazy mamma but it taught her a difficult life. But it also influence her life as she grew up. She is tough girl that she lets no one bully her way. That's something to have in your life. It makes you realize what you want in your life, and no one can be in you way. Facts are facts. But she is going to struggle when she reunites with the MC especially Saint. Nothing is easy in relationship or falling in love.
Saint, oh Saint. He is omega that no one can complete. But there are some challenges that I do not like from him. Yes, he is sexy force but he needs to understand that people need time. Stop rushing so much. He does it too much that I utterly get annoyed with him. Like I need you to stop. Give a women a moment, you are rushing everything. Let her process. I know everyone does, goodness. Man these days. Beside Saint impatience persona, Skylar seems to love him so much. Who wouldn't? I know everyone would too.
Saint and Skylar relationship is too cute. But it does bring some complications in their front end especially in Saint side. But what can you expect, nothing is never easy in life. There will be complications among the way but it makes you realize what you want for yourself. And Skylar is going to realize what she wants too.
Saint will bring back two former close friend together again but it going to be a bumpy road when it comes to MC romance.
3 1/2 Stars

I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. Thank you NetGalley!

This book is part of the Knights of Fury MC but can be read as a standalone.
Skylar gets a letter from her first crush, first everything...... but the thing is.. he's in prison.
Saint and Skylar had a serious history together.... and her heart skips a beat when she reads this letter.... even more so when Saint shows up in person to surprise her.
will they have a happy ever after?!

really liked it

I've always enjoyed Chantal Fernando's MC books while they aren't as graphic and everything they still get into trouble. The characters are interesting and not so typical. This a part of a new series so I'm excited where it will go. Aside from the ckub members the other secondary characters Sky's brothers are likable. This was pretty easy to read and follow along.

Skylar grew up in the MC with her stepdad as the president. Her mom and stepdad go into a fight and she was taken away from the place called home. She drifted a lot after but when Saint her old crush who was older at the time reaches out she decides it's time for a change. When they reconnect the closeness they had befor was still there. I liked that bit it was a cute, they had stuff to sort through communication wise and other issues but Skylar is tough.

So far the other MC members sound intriguing and have personality. Hammer Skylar's stepdad was such a good dad to her that was touching too see they bonded over the years. Skylar's mom was annoying and manipulative added conflict. It's great that Skylar was realistic when a suddenly finds out about a secret of Saint's. Sure she was let down but to but she handled it well. Of course there's some alpha overprotectiveness but Sky doesn't take it which is nice.

It had a sad moment that really was full of emotions a bond thicker than blood. A nice epilogue to round things off. But i wanted to know if the plotting mom got what's hers, some parts could be fleshed out more but it keeps the mystery. I really wanna know more about the other characters too.

Chantal Fernando is one of my favorite authors and I can tell you that this going to be one of my favorite new series. We first meet Skylar in her last year of high school. Her mother is with the president of the Knights of Fury MC and they have a volatile relationship during the best of times. We also meet Saint at the same time. He is a prospect and older than Skylar. He knows about her crush on him but because of her age and being the “daughter” of the president he doesn’t act on it.

Skylar’s mother is horrible to say the least. She takes Skylar away from everything she knows. Her MC family, Saint, everything without a single reason why. Five years go by and just like the blurb says Skylar receives a letter. A letter that makes her question everything she has thought for the last five years.

There are so many times I cried in this book. The day Skylar returns to the MC is so emotional. I had to put the book down and then pull myself together before I could go on. That particular chapter really got my emotions flowing.

Of course there was plenty of laughter too. That blend of emotions helped balance this book and made me love it all the more. I can’t wait to see what else Chantal Fernando has in store for us.

I have become such a fan of this author! I love how her MC books are tough and give you the grittiness that MC demands, but then there is this soft side to her guys. I just LOVE that.
Sky and Saint’s story was full of twists and turns and up’s and down’s, but nothing that made it confusing. This is a well written story and a read that I just devoured. Sky, has lived an interesting life with her mother. I am not sure I have hated a mother character ever as much as I hated her. That is excellent character writing. I loved the MC bothers and Hammer, he just made me love him. He was the only father she had ever known and was ripped away by her vindictive Mother. Years of being away from the MC, did not diminish Sky’s feeling for Saint. She longed to be with him and reconnect with all of her MC family. Saint, decides to reach out one day and from that point on, Sky was on a mission to get back to the club. Leaving a job and best friend behind Sky heads back to the MC and also she is connecting with her older brothers.
I really enjoyed the family connection she had with her brothers. All of them had suffered the same fate of being raised by the same mom. But for some reason Sky, was the one who was a pawn in her game with Hammer. Saint, sees Sky for the first time in years and that is all it takes, she is his.
I want to tell you so much more, but that would be spoiling your chance to get to read this awesome story. The plot twists and just the fact that her mother is such a jerk, are all worth your time.

Sky was raised for a good part of her childhood in the MC life. When her mother and step-father break up, she loses that family as well as Saint, the man she had a crush on. Now, five years later, Sky is living pay check to pay check, hasn't heard from the man that considered himself her father, and only talks to her mother once a week when she has to. When out of the blue a letter from Saint shows up, Sky starts to realize that maybe just maybe her "family" did want her. When she starts to question things, her mother shuts her down. Sky decides that maybe its time for a reunion of sorts, and get her questions answered. Problem is will the answers she get be the ones that she wants?

YAY, a new series to love! I have found that I really enjoy Chantal Fernando's work. Always entertaining and filled with loads of drama, heartbreak, nice naughty bits, and some violence. I give this 4 stars.

I can never get enough of Chantal's MC books, and this new one just took me back to the Wind Dragon MC series.
I loved Sky and Saint's story😍

Sky grew up in the MC, until she turned 16 and her mother left Hammer the president of the club and her for all in tense and purposes the only father she knew. Heartbroken she wasn't just leaving behind the only father she knew, but also her teenage crush Saint.

Now she's 21 living with her best friend Max and working at a bar. She and her mother only tolerate each other and see each other once a week. Until she gets a letter from Saint. He's in prison and wanting to know how she is. Now she questions her life, where is she going why did they have to leave the only home she ever called family and how is Hammer and the club. She packs up and goes 'home'. But is ready to learn the actual truth about what happened in the past and why they left. And also reconnecting with the only man she has ever loved?

Saint and Sky's story is some parts just really sad and some parts I wish that she had seriously bitched slapped her mother, cause that women should not be called mother. Saint was sweet and caring but also protective and sexy. Loved the whole club dynamic and I can't wait to read the rest of the brothers story. But also thanks for making me shed a tear or two there lady😢 But definitely a awesome start to a new series ☺️❤️

This was a new author for me. I thought This was an enjoyable read. I was drawn right in to the story. We get a romance with drama and an MC backdrop. Great characters and writing. I loved Skylar and Saint. You could feel their connection and chemistry. I also loved Hammer and the other brothers. I really wanted a house to fall on Sky's mother. Overall, I really enjoyed this story and look forward to reading more from this author.

Sky hasn't had contact with her stepfather or his motorcycle club in five years. Her mother took her away for unknown reasons robbing her of the only true parent she's ever had and from Saint, the young man she considered her first love. When she receives a letter from Saint out of the blue, it reopens old connections.

Returning to her real family, Sky also finds herself reconnecting with her brothers and discovering the secrets her mother kept hidden. It's not all good times, this is a motorcycle club who are known to cross the law, and have rivalries that could put Sky in danger.

I loved this book. I love a good, bad boy and Saint is the perfect version of this. There is plenty of action and steamy hot scenes.

I received an arc of this book via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This was just an ok read for me. It was quick and easy and the story had lots of promise but it just fell a bit flat. The main issue for me was the chemistry between Skylar and Saint as I just couldn't connect to them. That said, I will definitely continue with the series and look forward to the next book from the Knights of Fury.

I was provided with a copy of this book from the Publisher via Netgalley; there was no inducement or obligation and I opted to leave a review.

I don't know it is just me, but I really did not enjoy reading this book. After reading the Wind Dragons this new first book that opens a new series seems to me like a joke. It is maybe for a more younger audience because I like something more solid to read. But in this book I found it lacking after in so many ways like Skylar and her life and creating a drama where there wasn't. Suddenly Saint writes her from prison and she starts suddenly to have a purpose in her life and going back in the city and reuniting with the Club. The Club that isn't at all real MC Club. After coming into the city there are just rainbow and roses for Skylar and the author wanted to create a dramatical twist but it was just predictable and more drama. The relationship between Saint and Skylar is also poor and had me more times eye-rolling. If she has a plan to write another book in the series I hope it will be better as this one.
I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for NetGalley

This is book 1 in the Knights of Fury MC and ends in a HEA.

Wow! So we start the book when Skylar is a teenager and she has a secret crush on Saint. She is the ‘daughter’ of the club president so everyone looks out for her. One day her mother and her leave the club house and it is 5 years before Saint reaches out to her. She hasn’t been happy, her mother is awful to her but when Saint reaches out it is the catalyst for her to make some changes in her life.

I really enjoyed the twists in this story. Her mother turns out to not only be awful to her but is downright EVIL. Luckily the club will always try to protect her if they can.

I really enjoyed the first book in the series although I would have liked to know a bit more about Saint. Looking forward to the next book in the series!

Saint is the first in a new series set in a Motor Cycle club known as the Knights of Fury. I have to admit that I didn't know that I would enjoy MC set books, but I've read quite a few now and on the whole, I do enjoy them.
This book tells the story of Skylar, who was raised, at least for a time, as part of a Motor Cycle club, until a huge bust-up between her mother and stepdad resulted in them leaving never to see the men in the club again. Skylar as a teenager had a crush on one of the guys in the club, Saint, who is five years older than her. Once she's all grown up, they meet again and she falls in love with him properly.
On the whole, I enjoyed this book. In all honesty, I did think that Saint's character was a little flat. He quickly falls for Skylar, but there's almost something just missing from him. I don't know if it's because we see everything from Skylar's point of view rather than his? Skylar is a little immature. She's supposed to be 21 and considered quite with it and tough, but the way that she reacts to some things is quite childish. Perhaps that's because she has been raised by an awful mother and had a very dysfunctional childhood? I'm not sure.
This was an entertaining read and I'd be happy to read more about the Kights of Fury. I suspect that I know who will be the couple in the next book.
I received a complimentary copy of this book through NetGalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Saint by Chantal Fernando is a quick MC romance that is on the lighter side. Sky had loved being a part of the Knights of Fury MC, but her mother took her away and she thought she was forgotten. Then she receives a letter from Saint, someone she was close too and begins to question so many things and decides to go back. Saint was all kinds of sexy, charming and protective. Sky was loyal and feisty. They had great chemistry.

Happy reading!
