This book brought out so many emotions! Skyler’s childhood and family is so screwed up. Saint was the one person she felt she could rely upon until everyone was taken away from her.

Saint and Skyler are two souls meant to collide for life. No one will stop Saint once he is a free man from taking the woman that is meant to be his.

Skyler has a lot of stuff to unfold in her life and figure out what is real. It’s an emotional roller coaster that will break your heart right along with hers.

Chantal did a wonderful job telling this story and I look forwarded to more books with the other men of the MC and hopefully Skyler’s brothers.

There is nothing as great in this world as the moment you find out one of your favorite authors is releasing a brand new MC series! Absolutely nothing greater!

When I first heard that Chantal Fernando was writing a new MC series, I was over the moon excited. There is something about the way this author writes and the details she gives that has me always coming back for more. I love the creative flow she gives, but I especially love her creative flow revolving around the MC world.

Saint is the first book in the Knights Of Fury series and is told from Skylar's point of view.
This novel tells a tale of a young woman who is desperately searching for truth about who she is and where she comes from.

At a young age, Skylar learned whatever she did and whoever she became would never be good enough for her mother. But there was always one man she could count on, her stepfather and the Knights of Fury club president and founder, Hammer.

Hammer was always the man in her corner, smoothing things over when her and her mother got into little spats, and making sure Skylar was taken care of. Until the night her mother decided to wreak havoc on her perfect MC world and left the MC world behind in a cloud of dust.

Years later, Skylar is barely living life, working menial jobs just to get by. Until an unexpected letter shows up in the mail. A letter from her teenage crush, Saint. A letter that is about to redirect her whole life and bring her back to the place she was always meant to be, with the Knights Of Fury.

My Thoughts:

I loved Saint and Skylar's story! I loved the premise of a young teenage girl crushing on a man and then reuniting years later to find that the man was crushing on her and still is. True love is in the works with this one! I'm usually not a fan of age gap romances, especially one where it includes a teenager and a twenty year old man. I find them to be very creepy if not told right. Saint and Skylar's story is far from the creepy with one simple reason, Saint hid his emotions. Throughout the beginning chapters, you can clearly see that Skylar has mad love for Saint but Saints attitude comes off as a best friend relationship rather than one of romances. I loved the way this story was told. It made me feel more for Saint and Skylar when they eventually reunited and grew into something more.

I really loved the father/daughter relationship between Skylar and Hammer. There's an unspoken kinship between the two that if spotted across the room you'd think they were blood. They were tight and the ending completely tore my heart apart. I felt all weepy and I may have shed a tear or two. I'm woman enough to admit it.

Now onto why I dropped a star, I felt a few key moments in this novel were rushed. I would have liked a little more explanation on Skylar's mother towards the ending. And maybe a few more kinship moments between Skylar and her brothers.

Overall, I really enjoyed this read. If you're looking for a friend to lovers read with a little suspense, I highly recommend you pick this one up! It's too good to be missed! Saint was the perfect story to start a brand new series. I'm now invested! I need my next fix!

This was an okay story that started when the characters were younger and grew from there. It’s an MC story that was full of drama and angst . Twists and turns at every corner. Great characters.

Ok first off this book has ALL the feels to it. It may not be a very gritty MC book, but there is a rawness to all the emotions that are swirled into it. This is the first book in a new series, and I enjoyed it while shedding a year or two. As in most MC stories there is some action mixed in with some angst.
In the beginning we meet Skylar. She has a huge crush on Saint who happens to be give years older than her. Unbeknownst to her, her life is about to change drastically. Her mother who is a crazy a$$ b#$ch decides to pack them up and leave the only life Sky has ever really known. Let's fast forward a few years, and Sky receives a letter from her long lost crush Saint. When they meet back up their feelings rekindle, and Sky's life finally starts to fall into place. Everything that has been kept from her comes to light.
Most of the book is Sky getting reacquainted with the MC. I have no problem with this, as it is the first book in the series. We get introduced to many of the brothers, and I can not wait to see how their lives are going to change once their women show up.

I have not read Chantal Fernando, but I am really glad that I did it at the start of a new MC series. She does MC really well, setting up the guys as likeable, but still dangerous. I liked the world that she built with these men.

Brief Overview: Sky grew up in the MC as the daughter of the president, but always had an immediate connection with Saint. She was forced against her will to leave, but 5 years later all that changes when Saint sends her a letter and it sends her hurtling down to reconnect with her family. But there is a LOT going on in the background that she has no idea about.

First off, Sky and Saint are freaking adorable but also super steamy at the exact same time, major props to Chantal for that one! I also really liked how everything unfolded, even though there were several bombs dropped and you are just sitting there like "wait, what?".

All in all, I enjoyed this book and the story line and the passion. The only thing that kind of got me is that fights were solved SUPER fast, it would have been nice to see a little more sass and backbone in that regard. But, other than that, I definitely recommend this book!

PS: I received an ARC from the author/publisher and netgalley, thank you for the opportunity to submit a honest review!

I didn't love this story, I thought that I would enjoy it more but it fell a bit flat to me. I couldn't connect with the characters and plot

Actually, I am surprised at this story. It is definitely MC-lite. Not a lot of a MC action and not all of the roughness of motorcycle clubs I come to expect from Ms. Fernando’s books. It is a very nice and sweet story of young love. My favorite parts were Sky with Hammer and their relationship. Those were poignant and emotional. As usual, Ms. Fernando pulls out all of the guns at the end of the story. I need stock in tissue.

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book (given by Netgalley)...

3.75 stars

If you like you can read Leading the Witness since Hunter is mentioned but you don’t need to read anything to follow this book.

This book somewhat reminds me of the Wind Dragon MC series which I loved. I love the father daughter relationship between Hammer and Skylar even if he did make some mistakes. Saint was a total biker, he was totally an alpha but he was sweet with Skylar, his one true love. The way they reconnect was different but so cute in its own way. I love the bond in the MC and how they accepted/re-connected with Skylar. But the connection between Tory and Skylar was the best to read.

I will say that although I did enjoy this book, the dynamic in this book was odd. Skype and her relationships either with her family or friends seemed like fillers if that makes sense. For instance, Skylar and her relationship with her 5 brothers, that was just odd there was no love lost there and they didn’t seem to really take interest in her until she went looking for them. Another example, her best friend, Shauna, who we never learn more about but had a big influence in her life. Also her mother is just disgusting (basically a offense against nature) and I’m surprised how it ended for her.

There is a heartbreaking moment in this book so be prepared for that.

I am looking forward to more books in this series.

I would love to know who Temper ends up with. Perhaps Renny and Isabella? Maybe Dee and Maryanne?

I have been a hardcore fan of this author for a long time. I loved her two previous MC series with all my heart, so I was overly excited when this new MC series was announced. She did NOT disappoint! Saint is a story about second chances and it never being too late to go home. We first meet best friends Skylar and Saint as a 16-year-old club princess and a 21-year-old prospect. For deeper reasons than are initially disclosed, Skylar is forced to leave the MC and grow up in a loveless household. She lives a mundane paycheck-to-paycheck lifestyle until she receives a letter from Saint and decides it might be time to go home. Slowly, Skylar re-acclimates herself to the MC lifestyle and gets reconnected with her family, including Saint, the love of her teenage life. Old club drama and rivalries quickly make a reappearance and Skylar finds herself in danger from more than one trusted person in her life. It all boils down to whether blood is thicker than water and whether one really has to be related to be family, and there were so many unpredictable twists and turns that I just couldn't put the book down! The author builds such a vivid background of the world the characters are living in and the description and personality given to each main and supporting character is so well thought out. I fell in love with this entire club the minute I met each of the members, and I cannot wait to read more about them. I sometimes run across MC romance authors who repeat the same stories and love scenes over and over in each series, just with a fresh character and new location, but I have never found that to be the case with this author. There is never a moment where I've found myself comparing any of her characters across the different series and that's one of the reasons I will read everything and anything she writes - because I know I'll be getting a fresh story and idea every single time. I'd give this book more than 5 stars if I could!

“He kisses me then, a sweet, gentle kiss. The kiss of a man who is going to enjoy the journey instead of rushing to the end.”

Um, swoon!! This is a wonderfully entertaining, suspenseful book by Chantal Fernando.
Sky grows up as the step daughter of the mc president. He might not be her biological dad, but to her he is everything. Her mother doesn’t give her the time of day or even seem to care about her. But Sky doesn’t care because she has Hammer. He’s always made it known that she is loved and wanted. She loves being around the mc, especially Saint. He may be too old for her, but her heart isn’t getting the memo.

Years later at sixteen her mother takes her away from the only home she’s ever known, from the people she’s loves. After years of scrapping by, living the less than stellar life she dreamed of, she gets a letter. It makes her start to question her mother’s motives and what really happened that fateful night.

Seeking answers puts things into motion that are both good and devastating. One thing is for sure, Saint is back and this time he isn’t leaving.

The lead female character was strong, independent, and stubborn. Yet had an element of vulnerability that made her all the more relatable. We all make mistakes, it’s how we handle those mistakes that shows our character. Sky readily admits when she is wrong and it made me like her all the more.

I enjoyed reading this book! This is a well written story with an intriguing plot twist. The author created interesting and likable characters experiencing events that emotionally pull your heart strings. I highly recommend making this your next read!

Saint is a new series about a motorcycle club and Saint is one of its members. Really though Skylar is the main focus of the book from beginning to end. You see her as a young girl growing up in the club and really looking at her stepfather Hammer as her father, he is also the club president. All is going well until her she is a teen and her mother and Hammer get into a fight and she is told to pack and leave. The story picks up a few years later with her working and then receiving some letters from Saint. Sometime after this, she decides to move back to that town just to see what is going on. The rest of the story is good with her and Saint, her and her brothers, she goes to school. There’s a lot of action and where there is action her mother is always around. There were a few surprises at the end that made this a good read. Good characters and overall a good book. I received this book from Netgalley.com I gave it 4 stars Follow us at www.1rad-readerreviews.com

Chantal Fernando has written about the Irwon Wraiths MC and the daughter of one of the founders who leaves the club. Her youthful infatuation with one of the members, aka SAINT. What follows is the story of how they finally came together but with a twist that may end up with murder.

Although I am not fond of MC fiction, as I believe it to be too violent and cannot quite get the appeal, our review team loved this book and so did those who follow our pages.

Her writing is well done and edited and I would recommend this book to someone who enjoys this genre.

Skylar was a sweet girl who had a difficult mother. As a reader we really get the impression that Skylar is a very good young woman. She can't forget the man she remembers growing up who she left behind when her mother breaks up with her step dad and leaves the area.
All grown up and anxious to move back to the city Skylar gets back with Saint, the man she waited for.
There are minor reacquainting scenes and soon they are a couple.

There is some MC violence but not very gritty. The major drama is towards the end and once resolved the ending is very HEA.

I'd recommend for those who tend to like romance over gritty MC lifestyle.

A Big Hit!!!

This is the first of the Knights of Fury MC series and it was a total hit!! Skylar had grown up in the MC with the only father she ever knew who happened to be the Prez of the Knights. Hammer and Skylar had a great relationship while her mother was a woman who looked out for herself more than anything. At a young age Sky had a huge crush on Saint who was one of the bikers at the clubhouse but he knew that their 5 year age difference was something he didn’t want to mess with if he valued his life. Saint and Skylar did have a bond made from friendship though. At age 16 Sky’s mom and Hammer had a falling out with her mom taking Sky from the only family she ever knew.

Five years later and its finally time that Sky goes back to the clubhouse to see why everyone who said they loved her never came to find out how she was doing. Sky had a rough life with her mother not helping one bit when she turned 18. Now back in the city and at the clubhouse she is learning many of the secrets that her mother had kept from her. Saint no longer has to worry about their age difference and those two take off from there. Their connection from earlier turns into so much more and the chemistry they had was hot!

This story is full of twists and turns and has your heart both soaring and breaking. This was an excellent book that I couldn’t put down. Great characters and I can’t wait to read what’s next in this series!!

This was your standard biker and virgin romance book. The plot was good, the lovin was hot and the HEA was sweet.

School girl crush turned opportunity for love!?! Saint - he is not but what a catch! If you aren't upset by the whole MC thing...😉

Saint is the start of the Knights of Fury series. Start with the sexy and sweet and lead us into Renny's story...Though I had been hoping for Temper to be next. I just hope Renegade is going after the woman next door!

We shall see....

This was a cute, easy to read story, that I ended up getting through in less than a day. The storyline was good, intriguing and had me flipping pages so I could see what happened next. The writing was really good and flowed seamlessly. There were a few parts where it was a little repetitive but that was easily overlooked.

I really liked Skylar’s character. I loved how the story started out with a ten year old Skyler and then jumped to a sixteen year old Skylar and then to present day Skyler, five years later. She grew up with the Knights of Fury MC up until the age of sixteen when her Mom forced her to leave with her and leave that world behind. She left behind a father figure, Hammer, who had been there for her since she was a baby. She also left behind Saint. Saint was older and off limits but they had this amazing connection even though she knew nothing could ever come of it, she thought about him all the time. I loved reading about this early crush and it took me back to the days of those young crushes that I once had.

Sky and Saint’s reunion was just the sweetest. I loved everything about him. He was amazingly awesome and so HOT! Their connection was still there but now that they are both older it’s even more intense and he definitely wasn’t thinking of her as the Prez’s little girl anymore. I loved seeing their relationship grow.

This book shows that you don’t have to be blood related to have a family. The secrets of what happened five years ago that led to her Mom fleeing eventually comes out and OMG I could not believe what had happened. I swear I shouted WTAF when I read what happened.

Overall a really good read that would be perfect for the beach or rainy day read. This is the first book of Chantal Fernando’s that I’ve read but won’t be my last.

There are a lot of things I really enjoyed about Saint, and I am excited to read more in this series. My small issue with it is that I had a hard time connecting with Saint and Skylar's romance. I needed a little more insight into how their feelings developed, because it seemed as though they suddenly went from being friendly acquaintances while Skylar was a teenager to steadfast loves when she was an adult and they had not seen one another in years. I need a little more emotion to make their relationship feel more believable.

Saint is the first in a new MC series Knights of Fury. Skylar and Saint’s story has many subplots in it to keep the story moving at a fast pace. There is a monster in this story and you will not believe who it is or why. Looking forward to Renegade’s story.
