What a start to this MC series! While Skylar was not born in the MC life, she grew up in it through her mother’s relationship with the man she considered her father, Hammer. When the two get into a fight and break up, Skylar is moved away from the only father she knew at sixteen. After five years away, she hears from Saint, the man that she crushed on the majority of her childhood at the MC, and the questions she always had become more prominent to find answers to as an adult. Taking the challenge and moving back to the city, she goes back to her roots and is welcomed with open arms. When her mother finds out where she returns to, Hammer informs everyone of all the secrets and reasons they split five years ago, causing Skylar to not know who to trust or what to think. Going with her gut, she remains with Saint, but when her mother comes back into her life, it’s not with good intentions. This was such an epic book and I love that Chantal was able to give us a full story while also introducing us to the characters that future books will likely focus on. A combination of suspense and romance and a range of emotions while reading; well done!

Saint spent a short time in prison for an assault case and writes to Skylar, whom he hasn’t stopped thinking about since her mother took her from the club her stepfather ran. Skylar moves back into town and resumes a relationship with her beloved stepfather. She learns the misdeeds her mother did to benefit herself and put Skylar in danger and she learns that love doesn’t necessarily come with biology. Saint and Skylar are old enough now to develop their relationship that has been simmering for years. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Thank you to the author/publisher and Netgalley for an ARC of this book.

I was super excited by the prospect of this book. MC romance, childhood friends-to-lovers, prison...YES. I enjoyed reading this book a lot. Enough to rate it 4 stars and want to continue with the next book, but there were a few things that I wasn’t loving either.

We’re pulled into this story with Skylar and her family living with her stepdad who is the leader of the Knights of Fury MC. Despite what initial thoughts of this may be, this MC stepdad of hers has so much love and protection for Sky. Part of the MC, as a prospect, is her friend Saint who she has had a crush on for a long time. Due to the slight age difference and life situations, he never showed it back.

Jump to a fight that her parents have and now Sky and her brothers are being pulled away from the MC. This starts the story as we know it. We’re brought years into the future, with Sky just working to make it day-by-day. She’s never looked back at the MC, although she’s wanted to ; there’s been no contact from them, not even Saint. She does a visit with her mother, and now we’re shown who her mother really is, through adult eyes and not through the innocent child eyes as earlier. And wow, is her mother something!

Sky receives a letter from Saint, saying he is in prison and wanted to reach out to her. So this right here, this part of the synopsis, was what drew me into the book. I read other prison romances that turned out fantastic and since this involves childhood friends, I thought/hoped/assumed this would be a bigger part of the novel. When in fact, it doesn’t last long. Once Saint reaches out to her, she goes to her mother asking about her MC family. When that doesn't give her the results she wants, she quits her current life, moves in with one of her brothers and goes back to the MC to see her dad.

This jump starts a line of emotional reunions, including her one with Saint’s, which did not happen at a prison at all. The day she goes to the MC to see her dad is a couple days after he was released, so they have their reunion there at the compound. So far, everything that made me want to read this book is now gone. Luckily, with everything else happening, my curiosity definitely got the best of me.

For the rest of the book we’re caught up on what went down that day with her dad and mom, what Saint’s been up to, and how much drama her mother likes. And it’s all good- this was a great book. But Skylar drove me nuts! Everytime she finds out something new, she cries. I get this was a lot for her. But even when they’re calmly explaining why they did what they did and never reached out, I’m thinking it sucks but I see their perspective. Meanwhile, she’s crying and yelling about how they abandoned her and why they didn’t even reach out to her. Over and over. Every time something happened in this book, she was whining about it.

I had no issues whatsoever with Saint. I mean, his situation from his past sucks, but hey, it added to the drama. Saint was a great and loving character. Her dad was a giant teddy bear that even I wanted to hug.

The plot was also great. Her mother is such a piece of work and this is revealed slowly throughout, all linking back to that break-up fight they had and why they had it. This book makes you love to hate her mother. She is the villain of the story, right to the very end.

Overall, good book, just not the best MC one I have read. I will continue with this series though

Skylar and Saint have always been attracted to each other. But she was sixteen years old. And Saint was 20 and a member of the Knights of Fury MC. Having that into account and that Sky is the stepdaughter of the president of the Knights, it was impossible for them to be together.
Because of her crazy mom, Skylar is forced to leave. But after five years thinking about the family she left behind, she comes back.
And she hasn't forgotten Saint.
This book is ok. I loved it in the beginning. And although the plot becomes weaker at some point, the final chapters are really good.

A well written book but not my cup of tea. I couldn't connect to the characters and it fell flat.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine.

Our introduction to the Knight of Fury MC with Saint and Sky.....

It's a story of love and heartbreak (my heart!!) I must admit that sometimes Sky got on my nerves. From being practically raised as an MC princess, she was quite weak.....I'm still trying to work out whether I liked her or not but have decided that this is refreshing in an MC book!

Great start to a new series with the same wit this author always provides.

Every time I start reading a book by Chantal Fernando, my heart starts beating faster, my smile gets wider, and my day becomes brighter. This book was no exception to this rule, and I am convinced that Chantal's books should be on everyone's auto-buy list. I have jumped around in her many series, reading the books that fit best with my personal preferences, and each time I am engrossed in the stories and characters. This author is a master at creating characters with a lot of heart and those who defy stereotypes. Strength does not preclude vulnerability, and compassion does not preclude tenacity. You'll understand more when you read her books.

The youngest of six kids, and the only girl, Sky O'Connor is used to being babied. But growing up in a motorcycle gang and being raised by said gang's president made her strong and determined to live her life the way she wants. When her mom left the gang and the only father Sky has ever known, she felt abandoned and betrayed. They didn't fight for her to stay, and with a mother who looked at her as competition rather than a child to be nurtured, it was a wonder Sky had any compassion left at all. When a letter arrives from her childhood crush, Saint, she is surprised to see the return address is a prison. Intrigued, she writes back, and not long after, they reunite in person. If the fire between them was hot before, it had erupted into an inferno now. Sky and Saint begin a romance that has been years in the making - but life is never simple, and they will have to fight if they want to avoid being separated again.

Sky's character was so powerful for me to read about - she is smart, generous, scarred yet unbroken, and she should be considered a role model for so many women. In a world where people are judged regularly, she saw through that, because she had grown up among men who could be both violent and gentle. Not everyone is as they seem, and I loved how Sky took the good from the bad in her childhood to become an amazing adult. Saint (a.k.a Thorn Benson) was a great counterpart to Sky. He was so supportive of her ambition and wanted to make sure she was safe. Their separation hurt them both, but once they were together again, it was easy to see how perfect they were for each other. While I was a little irked that Saint had a past during the years they were separated (because I always have this naive belief that a couple will stay celibate until they meet again), it was handled beautifully. Sky's compassionate nature was a sight to behold. If ever there was a time I could meet two characters from a book, it would be these two.

As always, brava to Chantal Fernando! I look forward to reading whatever comes next, as it is sure to be amazing.

Oh Boy,Hey Friends.

It has been a hot minute since I have read a MC series, It only seems fitting that the first one I read in YEARS is Chantal's.

Saint is the start to Chantal Fernando's brand new series, Knights of Fury MC. Saint and Skylar had a great relationship. I enjoyed reading about them reconnecting, I liked that the conflict in the story did not take over the whole plot, and left plenty of the couple to be on the pages. I enjoyed the mix of sweet, passion moments and the heart pounding ones with the MC as well.

I was quite upset when something sad happens, I was not expecting that. I really was like WHAT! because damn.

Saint is Older and very experienced then Skylar and I was living for it. Because we all no I love me some sexy times, and this proved to me why i do like me some Chantal writing.

The plot, characters and overall everything was great, I was pleasantly surprised that for the first time in for a long time by this MC novel. I have not read one in a hot minute, as i said. Though i would not go looking for any more to read, because the ship sailed a long time ago, but it is nice to read one now and again.

Will pick the next one up, and i really do look forward to it. Highly recommend.

A quick, enjoyable read. I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley

Chantal Fernando writes great MC romance novels! I finished Saint in just one day because I couldn’t put my kindle down!

This addictive read follows Skylar (Sky), who was raised by her stepdad and mom in the Knights of Fury MC. Sky embraces the MC, especially Saint, one of the brothers of the MC! Saying Sky swooned over Saint is an understatement, but as much as she wanted to make it “more” it stayed strictly platonic. Ultimately, her mom left her stepdad and Sky reluctantly left the MC world all together. Fast forward 5 years later, Sky gets a random letter from none other than Saint! It was at this point in this novel that I strapped on my seatbelt and enjoyed the ride Chantal Fernando had written for Saint and Sky!

Chantal Fernando always manages come up with a fresh and captivating storyline! Saint was a great balance of dramatic MC action, steamy moments, and a sweet love story! I thought Chantal did a great job with giving us the backstory of Skylar and Saint and because of that the reader is able to appreciate how far they have come! I am really excited for the next installment in this series!

I am absolutely obsessed with all of Chantal Fernando's MC series and was so excited to jump on Saint. Saint and Sky were sweet and sexy. I loved how they reconnected and how devoted Saint and the rest of the Knight MC was to Sky.

While I loved how Sky and Saint reconnected I did wish that Sky was a tad but sassier. She always seemed quick to cry and be upset vs standing her own ground. All in all this was a fantastic start to a new series and I look forward to more.

I would like to thank Netgalley and the publisher for an advanced copy of this book for an honest review. 4 stars! ~Ratula

I am pretty much over the MC genre, however there are 2 authors that I will still read their MC books as they are released - and Chantal Fernando is one of them.

This is the first of the Knights of Fury MC series, and one that I am going to enjoy as much as the previous series.

Skylar and Saint's story is full of love, heartache, and a healthy dose of batsh!t craziness! Oy, there are some people in this book who need to take a good, hard look at themselves and their actions!

I love that we see the softer side of the bikers, not just the violence and bloodshed that can come with them. I loved watching Sky and Saint fall in love, go through the trial and tribulations that come with it.

There are a few characters that I really need to read their stories, and I hope that I don't have to wait too long to get more.

I fell for Saint from the beginning. He had my heart from the first scene. I loved this book it was hot, sexy and sweet. I needed a cold drink after some of these scenes.

Saint is a surprise MC read that plays with the readers emotions and holds onto their heart. While I thought I was getting a gritty, dark MC romance what I really got was a sweet, family drama revolving around an MC.

When I was reading this story (and I will be honest I don't like emotional stories), I was a bit upset as the kindness, caring, heart and love the characters in this book had for each other. I tend to gravitate towards the darker MC stories with no emotions and a lot of dark violence. However, after finishing and stepping back for a few days I am really happy that I had the chance to read this book and want more from this world… emotions and all.

I thought the main character, Skylar was too childish and selfish at times and she was my biggest disappointment. After refection I realized that she is a product of her upbringing and cut her some slack. Now Saint on the other hand, was a heartfelt man who found love and held on. He was strong and bold but was nothing but caring and loving. Such a different man then I am used to liking.

As I stated earlier, this book (to me at least) was more of a family drama with some MC thrown in. There was no really grit or darkness. I did get so attached to a few characters that I did cry at one point. I loved the way the story developed and grew and the ending both gutted me and had me swooning slightly.
If I had one complaint about this story, it would be that I felt there were some gaps that the author could have filled in with more details. It felt rushed in places where I needed a bit more development to fully connect with the characters. I would have liked more of Saint and Skylar in their childhood relationship and more in the prison letters, if I am to be specific.

Overall I am happy to have read this story and found my self a new author. I look forward to more from this world and can't wait to see who gets a story next. I received an ARC via NetGallery and I am leaving an honest review.

Skylar lived with the Knights of Fury until she was sixteen and then one day her mom took her and she had not seen them again. Then one day she comes home from work to find a letter from prison from Saint, at one point Saint and Skylar were friends and then they weren't. This was an interesting story about a mother nobody would want, a girl that could have turned out worse because of her but somewhere she found the strength to believe in herself. I don't want to spoil this story too much but it's about Skylar being reunited with her biker family and all that stuff that goes on with the biker world. I would have loved it a bit more if we could have had Saint's POV and I was really sad about Hammer. Otherwise this story kept me interested to the very end

3.5 stars. A good, low angst MC read. Skylar has had a crush on Saint for as long as she can remember and after five years apart, will time make a difference? Throw in a few twists and turns that keeps you hooked until the end.

**4.5 Stars**

This book was exactly what I was hoping for and expecting after reading some of the author's other work and I was definitely not disappointed. The story sucked me in from the start and I did not want to put the book down.

I enjoyed all of the characters, especially Saint and Sky and Hammer. I found the premise of the story to be engaging, unique and interesting. I absolutely despised Sky's mother, though I know that was 100% part of the story. I cannot wait to read more in this series. I really enjoyed these characters!!!

I received an arc copy of this book from NetGalley for my honest review. This is not your typical gritty MC romance. Young Skylar’s life is rough with no dad, a bunch of brothers and a mother who just doesn’t understand her and at times seems disinterested in her but that’s okay because she has Hammer who’s like a dad and all his MC brothers. This is how she meets Saint who becomes her friend and confidant but those feelings change as she grows. Unfortunately Skylar’s crazy mom ruins everything and separates her from all her MC friends and family. Fast forward a few years and Skylar receives a pen pal letter from Saint via the local prison and their relationship rekindles. I must stress that NOTHING physical happens between Skylar and Saint when she was young and there age gap is not very big, but their relationship does grow physical once they meet again. There is a little bit of a mystery about Skylar and why her mom is so crazy and there is a bit of heat with Saint but nothing too hot. This was a nice start to a new series especially if you find a hardcore MC story a bit intimidating but I just wish Skylar was a little bit stronger as she does tend to give in a lot. Overall a great read. 4.5 stars

I tend to enjoy this author and I did with this new series too. We meet Sky who was raised with bikers (The Knights) til the age of 16, when her mother and I seriously name that woman that lightly forcibly takes her away from the father that she has always known and loved and also leaving her heart behind with Saint. Saint was 5 years older than Sky and she was also the Presidents daughter so he knew that he could not go there and would not go there but he knew that he had a connection to her. Years later when Sky receives a letter from Saint who is in prison she questions everything that she knew because these people that claimed they loved her had abandoned her and she sets out to find out the truth. My only issue is that I felt that her mom got away scott free.
