I received a complimentary copy of this book from Harlequin Romance via NetGalley and I am voluntarily reviewing it.

This was a cute story. I read it in one setting. Nick comes back home with three things that he needs to accomplish. First, fulfill a promise to a soldier who saved his life; two, check in on his father who he has been estranged from for several years and third and finally leave and go far away to buy his dream ranch. Unfortunately for him the first proves to be a little more complicated than he thought. Checking up on Brooke to see if she and the twins are okay isn't quick and easy. He can see that she isn't fine. She is struggling with working as a wedding planner while caring for twin three month old babies. He decides to take her up on her ad for a nanny. The rest is filled with heartbreak, tears and understanding.

I enjoyed the dual POV format. Seeing into the characters' thoughts really helps me to fully understand the character. I truly felt for Nick. I also enjoyed reading how he took to the twins, Mikey and Morgan.

This is a sweet, clean romance. I highly recommend it to anyone.

Brooke and Nick's story begins with a promise to check on the twins. Nick's life was saved by a fellow solider. He owes him his life so he plans to fulfill a promise to look in on the woman and their twins that were left behind. Neither were prepared to fall in love and complete their own family.

This is part of Harlequin's Wyoming Multiples series. Brooke is in desperate need of a nanny. When a friend of the twin's father arrives to fulfill a promise to the dying soldier Nick stays and becomes her manny. While Brooke plans Nick's father's wedding he keeps her house and boys in order. He thinks it's a temporary stop on his way to buy a ranch but his heart is telling him otherwise. Predictable but a good story. Can be read as a stand alone. I received a copy of this ARC in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Nick Galloway had three things he planned on doing arriving home to Wedlock Creek. One, he made a promise to check on Brooke Timber and her twins after the babies’ father had died saving his life .two, try to talk to his father and brother possibly mending the rift between them, and three, buy a ranch. Brooke is a wedding planner and a single mother to Mikey and Morgan and trying to juggle both a family and a job. Nick comes to her rescue while she is trying to land an account that would bring in more business. As a result, he becomes her temporary manny. As Brooke plans Nick’s father’s wedding, they both begin to face emotions and feelings they thought long buried.
This was a cute story. The way Nick interacted with the boys tugs on your heart strings. Several times during the story you want to shake his brother Brandon because he couldn’t get through his head that Nick didn’t want to work in the family paper business. I enjoyed the interaction between Nick and Brooke as they both come to realize their feeling towards each other. Will look forward to reading Brandon and Heather’s story.

Nick is working on a promise he made to a fallen soldier who saved his life. He was to return to his hometown and check on the women the Soldier left pregnant, Brooke. He never expected to become her nanny (manny) but clearly she needs the help and it only temporary until her nanny comes back to take his place.

I keep rewriting that description over and over and finally decided to settle on that without giving too much away. This is a contemporary romance so its pretty clear where things are heading. And yet even with knowing what its about I really do feel that this book did do a good job standing out. I loved getting to know the characters. Seeing the family drama kept things interesting. Nick had family issues of the past and he is ready to face them head on and it was interesting seeing how different people in his family handled him taking a different career path then the following in the family footsteps when it comes to working with paper. Clearly there will be tension if he doesn't join the family business, pressures, that can be hard to handle. It was interesting seeing how everything played out. There is a very small world kinda thing going on with random connections. Then there was the romance, the obvious attraction, the stolen kisses, and it all remained clean which I appreciate. So if you like a clean romance that doesn't get too down into the deets you'll like this. Overall pretty good book I really enjoyed it.

Nick Garroway is a former soldier and an honorable man. Before a soldier dies while saving Nick's life, the man asks Nick to check on a woman he got pregnant and abandoned. Nick plans on making sure she, and her twin babies, are doing okay. He then plans on checking on his father, as they were estranged while he was in the military. Finally, Nick plans on purchasing a ranch.

Brooke Timber is a single mother to twin sons. She is working hard at keeping her wedding planning business afloat despite stiff opposition, and the fact that her nanny had to take some time off. Her grandmother left her the business and when her grandmother was alive it was thriving. Brooke can barely rope in any clients, even though living in the town of Wedlock, where marriage and multiples thrive, Brooke is struggling.

When a great opportunity presents itself - and almost slips through her fingers - Nick shows up at her door. She thinks the handsome stranger is there to answer her ad for a temporary nanny. He is only there to check up on her, but when he sees her predicament, and hears two screaming babies, he jumps in and makes matters right, thus saving her business opportunity. Nick cannot explain why, but, in a matter of moments, he takes on the job of being the nanny, or more appropriately, manny.

What a wonderful book! If not for the babies, the love story is totally adorable. This book worked on every level. This is a nice, clean and sweet romance that I truly enjoyed. The story even added angst when it came to Nick's relationship with his father and brother. I think this gave what might have been an overly sweet story just the perfect balance.

This book by Melissa Senate is my first by her, but it certainly won't be my last.

Many thanks to Harlequin Special Edition and to NetGalley for this ARC to review in exchange for my honest opinion.

Let me just say that is was actually a pretty cute and refreshing read. There's nothing like reading about a man who is highly capable of caring for twin 3 month old babies. Or about a man who wants to and not just to get in good with their struggling but successful mother, but because he wants to help. Help all of them. Nick is a genuinely nice guy...who needs to get more in touch with his feelings.

The only thing you have to ask yourself before you start reading is, do you believe in love at first sight?

If your answer is yes, you're golden and should thoroughly enjoy this book!

Just don't expect any details in the intimate areas. They are 100% glossed over. So if that is what you're looking to read, keep going, this is not it.

All in all, it was pretty good. I look forward to finding more of Melissa Senate's books to read!
