Katee Robert is an insta-click for me. I loved this story even though it is was short. I loved the chemistry between Cameron and Trish. It’s strictly an awkward- geek boy meets girl story but so fun. There’s lots of heat for those who like it. I’d like a little more backstory, but that’s my only criticism. The characters have realistic dialogue and even the secondary character are lifelike.

Oh gosh, these two are crazy hot together. Trish pushes all of Cameron's buttons and he manages to pull all the right strings. And somehow they are exactly what the other needs. But old habits die hard and they can't help getting in the way of their own happiness. Breaking the rules is what these two need to do. They might just be my favourite couple of the series.

This was a good story but it was missing some of the big romanctic moments for me. Cameron and Trish's relationship moves pretty quickly, and I was okay with the fast pace, but I missed the connection between them since there seemed to be an overabundance of scenes that didn't have much substance. Still an enjoyable read but left me wanting more.

This was a typical grumpy guy meets girl book but its a nice quick read.

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the advance read, I am voluntarily providing my honest review.

A fast paced entertaining read. What happens when an irrepressible spirit encounters a taciturn workaholic? Chemistry of course. Trish was a joy, her character imbued with sweetness and sass. Cameron though appearing detached. is fighting an almost instant battle to resist the charms of his friend and business partner's sister. The evolution of their relationship is chemistry laden and rife with sexual tension. Overall a fun read.

Make Me Need is a sexy workplace romance with her older brother's best friend. Yes, you read that right. Jot, naughty fun with her older brother's best friend. Sigh...

Cameron is the "robot" friend. The seemingly unfeeling, blunt @ssholish guy who is so hot he melts your brain! That's what this poor mortal girl is up against. I mean really, how could she possibly fight her hormones against all Cameron is. I wont even tell you about his "skills" outside the office. Hello, handsome!

Make Me Need is the perfect pick me up for a midweek, weekend, or slow day! Sexy, fun, and sweet, Make Me Need has all the bases covered.

3 Grumpy Guy Stars
I love it when a grumpy guy falls hard for the gal he never thought was his type...too peppy, too happy... just too much.
Too bad she is there, not going anywhere and now is even more in his face as they have to do a work trip together. Let the games begin.

She was desperate in so many ways. She couldn’t, not for another day, live with her parents. For both their sakes. It had been two years since she graduated and her ability to find a job was disheartening. She knew her mom was liking it too much having her home plus she had student loans to pay and a bank account with zero dollars.
She asks her brother, Aaron for a job, which worked well for them both since his girlfriend just gave birth to the first child. He helped her get into her apartment since their place would be crowded with the new baby. So, she was set. He did warn her about his cranky business partner, but she wasn’t worried.
Her brother wants her to redecorate the place to make more client-friendly. As well as be an asset with business meetings in order to keep ‘Mr. Happy’ in line. Well, on the first day he’s already pissed he calls her accident-prone because she was painting, and she may have fallen off the ladder and he caught her. He said she didn’t belong.
Camron is tall, dark, and handsome. He’s quiet for the most part, in a soothing way and cranky when he’s not. As time goes on the two do some major bonding in the form of major arguments, quips of one-up-man-ship, and cranky can joke if you listen carefully. As time goes on, they even talk. Until Trish kisses him.
Yup, she can’t explain it. Luckily after kissing her back. He takes steps back as her employer letting her know this is going to go nowhere.
I totally enjoyed this couple. They took off each other’s masks and got down to the nuts and bolts of who they are. Sometimes they got gold and sometimes coal. Their outcome unsure but they were hopeful until they weren’t.
I give this: 5 stars. Provided by netgalley.com.

This is the story of Trisha, forced to move home with her parents, unable to find a job, after graduating from college, her brother, Aaron, offers her some work, at his company, while he takes his paternity leave. When Aaron's wife goes into labor early, Trisha is forced to meet Aaron's partner, Cameron, on her own. Sparks fly immediately, but Cameron doesn't have much tact with people, and can be a bit of a jerk. Neither one is looking to be in a relationship, but the attraction eventually wins out, and things get more serious with them.

I really enjoyed reading this book, the characters are well developed, and have lots of steamy chemistry. This book is emotional, passionate, sexy, hot, and entertaining. I recommend this book, great for a rainy day.

Just love everything Katee Robert writes and this was no exception. We get a brother's best friend, opposites attracted story in Make Me Need. Trish is upbeat, happy and everything Cameron isn't. He's grouchy and antisocial. The chemistry between these characters scorches the pages. Of course he's going to have issues when this is his best friend's sister.
The read is quick without too much drama. Thoroughly enjoyed.

Trish didn’t do sad. Life was too short to focus on the negative. Trish was drowning in student debt , living with her parents, and the only job she could get was with her older brother Aaron at his cybersecurity company-Tandem Security. He was supposed to introduce her to his partner Camerom and walk her through her responsibilities. But his fiance becka had their baby a week early. Aaron was on maternity leave to bond with his baby. That is what Aaron did- take care of everyone around him. Trish declined his coming in because that was what she did- smoothed waves and gave people what they really wanted. So she went to meet cameron without Aaron. Than a man said,”What do you want?” The looks of this man made her mouth water. Until she realized this was Cameron-Aaron’s partner. She held out her hand than realized cameron wasn’t going to shake it. She knew Aaron said the place needed a bit of a facelift but she now saw that was an understatement. Cameron told her the information for her was in the top drawer of the desk. Do what you want Cameron added. The only thing in the top drawer was a Tandem credit card and a paper account, names and passwords. This would have been easier if she had some guidance. Aaron had hired her to redesign the office. Since she had to start somewhere . the waiting room was where she started. Even bargain shopping, it would take a chunk of change. Trish went out of Cameron’s office to When trish went to Cameron’s office to ask for a budget he told her to spend what she needed to, he would let her know if she got out of line. Aaron wanted her to deal with first time clients preliminary meeting with clients to get a baseline for what service Aaron wanted Trish to go out of her way. Working as a glorified secretary at Aaron’s company At Aaron’s company might not be part of her bright plans for the future, but that didn’t change anything, she would give 100 percent. It was what she did- who she was. She’d be the best damn glorified secretary Aaron and Cameron ever had. Cameron liked his work, liked being occupied by it. All he had was an empty apartment waiting for him. Trish was on a ladder painting long after she should have went home when she fell from the top of the ladder. Cameron caught her, he let himself enjoy the fact of her being in his arms for several seconds before he set her back on her feet. Cameron wanted Trish and that complicated things. Cameron had not bothered to date in longer than he cared to think about. Getting to know someone takes so much work. Usually the woman stormed off before the second date. As he said something wrong, or he didn’t talk enough, or he talked too much about work. Easy enough to pick someone up to take care of his sexual needs but even that had become tiresome lately. Trish was one of the few people in the world who put up with his bs without expecting him to change but also was a genuine friend. He may want to change. He may want trish but she was the one woman he couldn’t touch. Cameron told him to paint the edges he would do the higher up painting. Trish decided to use the extra pair of hands. After they were done Cameron asked what she planned on doing for the front office. trish ‘s main degree was sales with a minor in design. Her dream was to eventually work in corporate fashion, but she knew how to use that skill set to set the tone of a room. Cameron than said “ tell me your plans.” “Please.” When her shoulders brushed her shoulders sent shivers through her body. That she couldn’t quiet control.Than she told him her ideas. She told him that is what she had been hired to do- create the best client - facing aspect of this business as possible. She added that he and Aaron have a company that’s one of the best, and as silly as it might seem presentations matter. Than Cameron told her “One condition, no more painting alone.” Cameron turned to face her, his chest nearly touching her with every inhale. This choked off what she had been about to say. She was caught between wanting him to kiss her and wanting him to back up and let some air back in the room. Cameron walked trish even though she only lived three blocks from the office and felt safe. When she got to her apartment trish swayed to Cameron and went up on her tiptoes and kissed him. The contact shook her right to her bones. Cameron and trish had to go to London to try to sign a big client that would take the company to the next level and they became lovers soon after arriving in London.
I enjoyed this book. It was a quick hot read. I really like the pace and plot. I do think Cameron and Trish should have taken more time to know each other. The ending kind of didn’t sit right with me. It was only over the period of a month. I think it should have taken over a longer time. I liked that it showed growth in Cameron. I liked that Cameron was protective of Trish. Trish and Cameron did have hot chemistry. I did like that Trish and Cameron did tried to fight their chemistry. Cameron more than trish as he didn’t do people. It was hard for me to see Cameron dealing with clients as he was so grouchy. I liked that Becka and Trish became close. I loved the characters and the ins and outs of this book and I recommend it.

I am a huge fan of the best friend's brother and the grumpy/abrupt male troupe. I read the blurb and was totally excited to read this book. This is another short read or 'quickie' as I call 'em.

Trish Livingston has had a hard time getting her life plan to go right and after failure upon failure. She gets offered a job in her brother's company which is especially needed since he's out on paternity leave. Trish is left working with the other co-owner of the company a gruff, tell-it-like-it-is hunk of a man Cameron O’Clery. Cam is notorious for saying the wrong thing and not realizing he's insulted someone until it's too late. Trish takes one look at Cam and can't help but fall into the sparks of chemistry between them.

I didn't quite 'feel' it between the two. I kind of felt a lot of the interactions were just missing something from the conversations to the bedroom times to the development of feels. It was good, but I just felt there was a little something I wasn't getting/connecting with the characters. Maybe I missed something in the beginning but it wasn't until a quarter to halfway through the book that Cam makes a reference to being a black man. I honestly couldn't give two figs about race/ethnicity but I could have loved some comments on his skin tone or something. It kind of messed with my internal picture of the characters and how they looked during certain parts etc. And to be honest, I would have loved at least 1 mention of the contrast of skin colors, his caramel/warm/brown/mahogany/dark velvet skin tone (come on people, give me something!!). You can mention something once or twice without beating an idea into the ground. I was also frustrated about the quickness of feels, the seeming necessity for a plan but the lack of willingness to discuss things, and the climax of the story. It all felt a little contrived.

All in all, I did enjoy the book. As there was little issue with the best friend afterward, I would say that the book falls firmly into the grumpy male troupe. I am looking forward to reading more from this author.

What I liked best about this book was Trish. I love her attitude and her ability to keep moving forward. I really like her. Cameron is also likeable but a little abrupt. He really does grow on you. This book is well written, moves easily and is a quick read.

So here is another steer away from what I normally am drawn too. This author though I have read a couple of hers so she got me to steer into this one. Even though this is another in a series I still ventured forward because the stubbornness of the two characters-Trish and Cameron call to you right away. This one also has a sizzle burn when touched also. It is a quick one with the flow being that of a one when two people get together things go fast. Good look at relationships with these two on what not to do so much but it that it happens more often. the chemistry is there while the wills hit heads but then you see it all come to a head. Like I said a quick one to give a hot escape.

the latest harlequin dare from katee robert, make me need, finds trish livingstone starting life in the city with a job her brother got her in an apartment her brother helps her pay for and she kind of feels like a loser. her first day of work she meets her brother's surly business partner cameron and she's smitten while aware that there is no way she should go there.

cameron is her brother's best friend. and he's an insensitive jerk. or at least that's what he appears to be. he's probably borderline on the spectrum, super smart with no ability to read social cues. but the livingstone siblings figure out how to read him. cameron realizes early on that he's in trouble with trish. that she's someone he should stay away from but can't. and that once he makes the choice to be with her, he is all in. and trish kind of has to play catch up.

this is an enjoyable, quick read. sexy and with just the right of emotional depth to let you really fall for the characters. as an aside, how many headless abs photos does the dare line have in stock? because i feel like every release looks a little bit like this. and it's fine, i get it, it's totally their category brand. but i guess sometimes i like to see things be a little more visually interesting.

**make me need will publish on july 1, 2019. i received an advance reader copy courtesy of netgalley/harlequin (dare) in exchange for my honest review.

This is a fairly good, quick easy read. I liked that Cameron is not your typical smooth charming hero.

I really enjoyed this story. Cameron and Trish were such a fun couple. Trish doesn't make it easy for Cameron which is all the reason this book was a fun read. Trish was so focused on what she wanted to do with her life and at times didn't see how Cameron would fit into it. Though she couldn't deny the attraction to him. Cameron has always been the type of man who does better behind the scenes when it comes to work and Trish seems to be able to challenge him to want to be a better man. I really enjoyed this story and the HEA was great.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Trish is happy, outgoing and always manages to light up whatever room she enters however she has trouble balancing what others want for her against what she wants for herself. After finishing college, she was unable to find a job, so she finds herself back at home living with her parents. When her brother offers her a job at his company handling a multiple of tasks, she hopes that this will enable her to gain some independence and her own place.

Cameron is her brother’s business partner who is as dark and brooding as Trish is bright and sunny. Cameron is good at his job but being friendly and having a way with people is his downfall and that includes Trish.

Sparks fly from the moment they start working together but when they need to take a business trip will those sparks evolve from antagonism to heat?

Although they couldn’t be more different from each other but together they balance each other and are perfect match.
