It was okay. It started off slow but humorous for me but picked up a little when Cameron & Trish hooked up. Their interactions were funny, when grumpy Cameron has to deal with Trish while lusting after her, his best friends sister. Trish & Cameron have a good but moody chemistry. What kind of threw me of was all the second guessing especially by Cameron.

This book is so much fun! The chemistry between the characters is so steamy! This is a workplace romance and a brother’s best friend romance all rolled into one!

Trish is having a hard time finding a job in corporate fashion so she has agreed to work for her brother and his business partner. What she doesn’t count on is being super attracted to her brother’s business partner (aka her new boss). Cameron is normally super focused on work with no time for anything else, but when Trish starts working for him, he can’t seem to keep his eyes off her.

This book was such a fun read. The chemistry and relationship between Trish and Cameron were amazing! I loved the office setting as well as the work trip they are forced to take together. I loved that both of the characters have depth and more than what meets the eye. Trish puts up a super cheery front and Cameron seems to be always grumpy, but they both have so much more to them. Katee Robert definitely writes a great romance and I know I need to go back and read the first three in this series now!

Trish Livingston would like to say she's helping her brother, Aaron, out by working in this office while he's on paternity leave, but really, it's him that's helping her. By giving her a job, Trish can do more than work on building up her resume, she can also move out of her parents' house finally.

But on her first day of work, she's confronted with Cameron O'Clery - her brother's business partner. Cam is not an easy person to work with or for, but Trish needs the job. It doesn't hurt that he's pretty easy to look at, but she knows that she needs to keep it professional.

Cam has never had an easy time when it comes to interacting with clients, but he would never dream of pulling Aaron back to work right now. It's a good thing that Trish is in the office to work as a kind of buffer, except for the big attraction he feels for her.

While both Cam and Trish work to keep things professional, a business trip to London changes all their plans, and instead of figuring out how to avoid each other, they're headed on a crash-course for one another that'll have both of them, but especially Trish, reconsidering what it is she wants out of life.

Make Me Need was a quick, steamy work-place romance. I felt like Katee Robert took a little more time with the build up before Trish and Cam finally got together. Of course, that's only the tip of the iceberg as afterwards they have to figure out where they see a possible relationship going, if anywhere.

I felt like the story struggled a little bit in conveying the reasoning for any reluctance on either of their parts. It kind of comes out in bits and pieces, but it's closer to the end of the story where you can see what the full impact or implications would be. I wish a little more had been thrown in to help balance the story out a little bit more.

Otherwise, I felt like Katee Robert, as always, does a fabulous job of packing a lot into such a short / quick read. Unlike with the previous book in the series, it's not clear where things might go next or which character it might follow. I don't know if this is an indication that Make Me Need was the final book in this series, or if it will continue with a character I'm not expecting. Either way I always look forward to a new Katee Robert.

3.75 stars out of 5

This is a brother’s best friend/sister forbidden romance book. Trish is working at her brother’s company while he is on paternity leave. Cam is his business partner who becomes attracted to Trish even though he knows that he shouldn’t be. The chemistry between the two characters was there but that was it. It seems like the rest of the story was forced between the characters. It was an ok story. I wish that I would have read the other 3 books in this series. This book was a standalone and could be read without reading the others. I have read her other books and I will continue to read them but this one just didn’t hit the mark with me.

I received an ARC of this book on Netgalley and I am voluntarily leaving a review.

3.75 stars--MAKE ME NEED is the fourth instalment in Katee Robert’s contemporary, adult MAKE ME erotic, romance Harlequin DARE series. This is tech specialist and co-owner of Tandem Security Cameron O’Clery, and PA Trish Livingston’s story line. MAKE ME NEED can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary. Trish is the sister of Aaron Livingston (Make Me Yours #3).

Told from dual third person perspectives (Trish and Cameron) MAKE ME NEED follows the building relationship between tech specialist and co-owner of New York’s Tandem Security, Cameron O’Clery, and PA Trish Livingston. Desperate for a job and money, recent college graduate Trish Livingston accepts her brother’s offer to work at Tandem Security, a high tech cyber security firm co-owned by her brother Aaron and his friend Cameron O’Clery. From the outset, Trish’s position within the company, to redesign the offices and reception area, is met with derision by Cameron O’Clery, a man used to working alone. With Aaron on paternity leave, Cameron finds himself working side by side with Trish Livingston, the woman with whom he will fall in love. A working trip to London finds Trish and Cameron pushing the boundaries of work-place romance. What ensues is the building relationship and romance between Trish and Cameron, and the potential fall-out as Trish is offered a position in California, a position she readily accepts knowing her time with Tandem Security is coming is only temporary.

The relationship between Trish and Cameron is a best friend’s little sister/work place romance. Trish and Cameron’s attraction to one another is immediate but Cameron tries to keep his distance from the woman that calls to his heart. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

We are reintroduced to Cameron’s partner and Trish’s brother Aaron Livingston but otherwise the secondary characters are limited to Trish’s anxiety ridden mother (via phone) and a client in London England.

MAKE ME NEED is a fast paced, sexy story. The premise is engaging and spicy; the romance is provocative; the characters are energetic and spirited. MAKE ME NEED is a delightful addition to Robert’s MAKE ME series.

A wonderful sizzling sexy read that is the perfect afternoon escape. It's a great blend of an office romance and best friend's little sister forbidden romance. Trish and Cameron are great characters and their story is fun, flirty, and definitely a book I recommend for a quick lazy read.

A well written romance.
Good to relax on the beach. The kind of story that's not boring, with a happy ending.

Beautiful cover as well.

ARC received through NetGalley.

3 1/2 stars!

It's always so rewarding when the grumpy male lead is taken down by the sweet and sensitive female who doesn't bow down to his irritable ways. That's kind of the way Make Me Need went. Cameron was 100% grumpy and resistant to Trish's attempts to soften him up. Regardless of his attempts to not succumb to her wiles, he is completely attracted to her and his ability to resist her is hanging by a thread.

We got to know Aaron and Becka in the last book and I really enjoyed their story.. In this one, Aaron is business partners with Cameron but is taking paternity leave with Becka after the birth of their child. He hires his sister, Trish, to help Cameron out in the office during his absence. I like the connection between the books. Unfortunately, I had a more difficult time investing in the relationship between Cameron and Trish. I liked Cameron's grumpy exterior but never really understood why he was that way. Also, once he gave in and slept with Trish, it seems like a lot of his cranky mannerisms just went away.

Overall, it was a good albeit quick read. The fact that these books are fast reads is one of the appeals in my opinion.

I just love the best friend's little sister trope, and this one was fun and steamy.

Trish Livingston hasn't had any of the things in her life plan go right. She's the youngest of three kids and when she finally left for college her mom's empty nest hit hard. Trish was constantly trying to manage her mom's anxiety, and she became good at putting on a smiling face and smoothing things over for people. When she didn't have any luck finding a job in her field after graduation, she moved back in with her parents, so when she left again, things with her mom got even worse. Her older brother Aaron (the hero from book 3) offered her a job as his company's secretary/designer/client pleaser, etc. She felt like it was a pity job, but she wasn't really in a position to say no, so she took it. The only hard part would be dealing with Aaron's perpetually grumpy business partner.

Cameron O'Clery is kind of a jerk. He's blunt, he has no tact, and he doesn't realize what he's saying is offensive half the time until after he's said it. He co-owns a cyber security firm with his best friend from college, and Aaron handles most of the client-facing aspects, with good reason. But Aaron is on paternity leave and everything falls on Cam. When Aaron suggests hiring Trish, Cam figures he could use the help, but he wasn't sure if she was completely qualified. Turns out she's an asset, and more than that, he's more attracted to her than he's ever been to anyone before.

Trish and Cam had mega chemistry from the start, and I enjoyed watching their will-they-or-won't-they vibe. From the beginning they really seemed to understand each other, and realized how important that could be, when not many other people understand either of them. But Trish was so attached to her PLAN, and Cam just wasn't a part of it, and neither of them saw how that could really change. Even when things started deepening and changing between them, it didn't change their outlook for the future.

I really enjoyed this couple, and appreciated the very real challenges they faced, as well as how they eventually chose to deal with them. My only real complaint is I felt there should've been some sort of conclusion to the whole thing with Trish's mom. It seemed like something had to give, but there was really no finish to that part of the story, and I was a bit disappointed with that. But, I really enjoyed Cam's answer to their problems as a couple, and what he chose to do to solve them. He was a great hero, and he was pretty much all in from the start, even without fully realizing what it meant, and I always love that. Trish knew what she wanted out of life, but she didn't always seem to know how to go about getting it. She learned a lot from jumping into her relationship with Cam without a plan, for the first time in her life. She took a chance, and it was scary, but it was right. I think we can all take a lesson from that.

Overall I really enjoyed this story. I loved that Trish's brother's reaction was only really a concern since he was also her boss. It wasn't a big focus of the story as it often is with friend's sister books. Also, I liked that Trish and Becka, her brother's fiance, have become such good friends. I like seeing women in supportive friend relationships with each other, and not as adversaries. I really love this author's work, and I've enjoyed this series so much!

Trish goes to work for her brother's company as an interior designer/secretary. She is in desperate need of money and knows she needs this job. While her brother is on paternity leave, she is left to deal with his business partner, Cameron on her own. His people skills need a lot of work and both of them put up walls, although hers are hidden by a sunny disposition. It was interesting to see each of them discover what the other one is really like. Cameron is protective over Trish and she does take it the wrong way quite a bit. Her thoughts were kind of juvenile at times and she seemed to want Cameron to fix everything for her. She claims to realize in her head that she is expecting too much, yet does nothing to correct it. Had a hard time connecting with her on that. Felt she needed to own her choices and consequences and she failed spectacularly. Running from problems seemed to be a thing for her and I felt Cameron showed great restraint in not losing his mind over it. Felt Cameron showed great growth and selflessness. Respected him and what he was willing to do for her. Thought this was a good addition to this series.
I received an ARC from NetGalley for my honest review.

This is a great beach read for you to enjoy this summer! Cameron is a smart sexy grouchy package all rolled into one. Trish is the sister of his business partner and pushes all his buttons. Guess where that leads! Happy ending of course! It was an easy read and one you will enjoy.

A hot and steamy forbidden workplace romance! Trish has a happy facade, helping out at her brothers company while he's enjoying paternity leave. Unfortunately, Cameron seems to be the one person she can't keep her mask up around. After multiple attempts at seduction and being brutally rebuffed by Cameron, Trish is taking the refusals personally. Make Me Need is even more enjoyable if you've read the Make Me series in order, since you'll see previous characters making an occasional appearance. You'll definitely need a cold shower after reading this one!

If you've been reading this series you know Cameron and Trish were bound to hook up. He's a bit overbearing and controlling but she's strong minded and creative, they are a great fit. A bit of a communication issue is expected but they work it out. Their story is fun, easy and exciting with plenty of steamy moments. I received my copy through Netgalley.

Trish's brother, Aaron, and his best friend, Cameron, own a very successful business. Trish is having a hard time landing her dream job, so when Aaron takes a paternity leave, he hires Trish to help out. Trish and Cameron have very little in common, as Trish is peppy and out going, and Cameron is grouchy and defiantly not a people person. However, the chemistry between them is off the charts, and each struggles with their feelings and what they want for the future. When Trish lands her dream job on the other side of the country, will they be able to find a way to have together what they both secretly long for?
I thought this book was good overall, lots of sexy scenes. Fun beach read. However, It didn't always flow from one scene to another in a smooth way, and the middle seemed to drag a bit.
I received an advance copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

This is a fun, flirty, sexy office romance that was just what I needed. I loved the grouchy hero and the upbeat heroine. Ms. Robert’s stories are devoured so easily.

Cameron is one seriously cranky guy. He regularly alienates clients and I'm not sure how Aaron puts up with him. Yet he apparently has a soft underbelly that was only looking for the right person to show it to.
Trish is trying to get her life on track. Working for her big brother is definitely not her dream job, but if it gets her out of her parents house she'll take it. While Aaron is on paternity leave, Trish takes on the role of getting the office presentable and watching over Cameron. They don't mix well from the get go, but is it his crankiness or the attraction they are both fighting. You know they can't say no for long...

This quick and sexy office romance featuring the brother's-best-friend trope is the perfect entertainment when you don't have time to devote to an entire novel. You could all of the benefits with half the time and twice the steam, which is why I love the DARE line! Katee Robert always delivers and Make Me Need is no exception.

#MakeMeNeed is the spicy story of Trish and Cameron and the undeniable attraction between them. Cam is the business partner and best friend of Trish's brother who is taking paternity leave. Trish, who has agreed to fill in as assitant/office decorator, should be off limits, but the attraction is just too strong.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Thanks to the author and publisher and #NetGalley.

Make Me Need is a fast paced whirlwind romance and I enjoyed every second of it.

Cameron is a little rough around the edges, but still has some charm (buried deep most the time). I connected with him more than I did Trish because Cameron and I are on the same worry train. I think like that all the time, despite knowing that it's not good for my mental health.

I liked Trish, though she was a little frustrating with her "whoa is me", everything is working out better for everyone else mindset (to be fair, I totally get the mindset, I was just frustrated by it).

Cameron and Trish were a good match, and I loved watching them fall into each other in London. It was sexy and romantic and I could be swept off my feet like that any time. While their relationship was blooming both of them seemed to feel the end was on the horizon and some very real arguments happened, though of course Robert makes sure we get our HEA so don't worry too much!
