As his investigation proceeds he realizes that the accident was intentional and that Georgia's life is in danger. He keeps a close on her by taking her to find out about her car and fishing. Georgia's sore and stiff after the accident and her family is concerned about her. They ask if she wants to go home but she refuses. She's attracted to Paxton and flirts with them and wants to hang out with him. As he protects her and they get to know each other they have different ideas of a relationship they want to have. Paxton is pretty much wanting a forever relationship and Georgia wants just sex. When he keeps turning down her advances she reevaluates her feelings. She meets his family after an invitation from his mother. Paxton reveals his feelings to Georgia. She's afraid and pulls away only to realize that her feelings for him are strong. The day of the wedding comes and an uninvited guest shows up to stop things and takes Georgia hostage. A pursuit takes place their feelings come to the fore front. Feelings are disclosed and a small wedding is held. A unique place for a wedding night.

Georgia Fortune was making a trip into Paseo for a family wedding but came in too hot when she ends up crashing a new car. Town Sheriff Paxton managed to find her helped her house and soon as he finds out she's another one of the Fortune Family he isn't too pleased but will have to deal with her and her family's presence while there is still a wedding on.

With how the book was going I thought that there was going to be a big mystery thriller type of thing. I think I was a bit too hopeful on that but this book did turn out to be a good cute contemporary romance. I enjoyed seeing that connection between Georgia and Paxton. If you like a good contemporary romance you'll live this book because overall I enjoyed myself reading this and think you readers might too.

This is the first book about the wonderful Fortune family but I will be starting at the first and catching up on them. The heat between Georgia and Paxton was evidenced from the beginning. It sizzled up to the end of the book.

I would not recommend the book. The characters were rich snobs. Who expected everyone to be in love with them. I think our policeman should have went with his gut feeling about her

This was a suspenseful read. I truly enjoyed it for those looking for an romance with just kissing then this might be the book for you. I have read other books by Allison Leigh in the Fortune family series this is another keeper.

I have been reading the Fortune family series from the beginning. I love this series and I am super happy that there are so many members in the family. This means the series will go on for a LONG time. Yay!!
