Somehow this was my first Joyce Meyer book/study. It won’t be my last!!! So much wisdom shared and shared in a kind, knowledgeable way. I never felt like I was being preached at or told I wasn’t good enough. You must go get this!

Another great book by Joyce Meyers. No matter where you are in live or what you may be going through, her books are always a source of inspiration. Thanks to NetGalley, the author and the publisher for the arc of this book in return for my honest review. Receiving the book in this manner had no bearing on this review.

You know they say "kno4thy enemy" when talking battle strategy. This book will help with that but also it will help you rely on the one who the battle belongs to:The Lord! You may be going through circumstances and trails but take heart if you put your trust in God,the battle is already won! That doesn't mean lay down your sword, although there are times when the Lord may instruct you to rest, but don't stay stuck on the sidelines, pick up your sword:The Word of God,the Bible and use it thrawt you enemy the devil and all the evil schemes he throws your way!

I have recently returned to listening to Joyce Meyer and have purchased some more of her books recently. I was struck again by her gift in communicating truths so simply. This book is quite comprehensive for engaging the reality of trouble in life and spiritual warfare. It weaves together truths about our part and God's part in overcoming the enemy, and keeping our soul healthy in the process. This book is good for a new Christian or even for a seasoned believer. The information might not be 'new' for the latter, but much of the time we need to keep truths before us as reminders, especially in challenging times.

I found Joyce Meyer a fascinating author. The many ways she described the ways the devil worms his way into our thinking and reasoning really knocked me for a loop. I found myself identifying with the many ways we inadvertently allow him in our ways of thinking about people, experiences and just the myriad ways we live our daily lives without even thinking of it. She is a marvelous author and evangelist and I have read and enjoyed many of her books. I would recommend this book to anyone who is having a hard time and needs an uplift in their lives. Thank you net galley and hachette publishers for this marvelous opportunity.

Over the years, I have read a number of books by Joyce Meyer that tackle many of the questions and concerns that Christians face. I love her clear manner of speaking that is easy to understand, yet she also digs down deep to uncover the truth of the matter, and she doesn’t gloss over subjects that others do. I also appreciate that she is open about her own life and struggles. It is so helpful to hear from someone whose experiences mirror my own.

This book is worthy of careful study for any Christian. Joyce talks about the various ways the devil tries to deceive us, and how sometimes our own thoughts of how to handle things is not the right way to go. A reminder that I really needed was to be thankful and not complain; it is so easy to get caught up in doing that and joining in with others who do.

This is another 5 star book. I am grateful that Joyce is led to write books such as this.

Every day Christians fight the good fight to come closer to the Lord and flee from the devil. In this book Joyce Meyer explains how we should fight this battle giving examples from her own life.
A valuable read for Christians especially her devoted followers.
I was given this book by netgalley and Faithwords for my own impartial review.

As always Joyce Meyer brings biblical truth and honesty! She is a one-click author for me, I'm happy to purchase any book she comes out with. I read this book in a time I couldn't have asked for a better response to let go and give my trouble to God.

The book is very useful when it comes to reminding us that we are not in this battle alone. My only issue with the book is when the author starts to talk about depression. She seemed to gloss over it and made it seem like it's not something worth discussing, and also as if it was just something that could be prayed away. Christians need to come to the realization ( especially with all the Christians that have been committing suicide lately) that depression is a real thing and sometimes more than just a demonic spirit that can be prayed away ( at least that was my take on that section of the book.) Other than that, it was a helpful read.

If you've ever questioned that a spiritual battle is going on around you, Meyer presents clear evidence that evil is active in the world and working hard to insinuate itself into your life in order to separate you from God. In a very readable text, the author provides scripturally-based information and advice on how to engage in spiritual battle, Keeping in mind that the ultimate war has already been won by Jesus on our behalf, Christians are still challenged in a variety of ways by the Devil, and Meyer gives encouragement and hope for those who struggle with those challenges. The power of prayer, using the armor of God, and relying on the Lord to fight for you, are strategies that Meyer illuminates in her book.

If you read a lot of books about spiritual battle, there is not much in Meyer's new book that you probably haven't already encountered in other books, If you're still fairly new to the topic, this book is a good overview of the concept for Christians and provides good instruction for successfully engaging in spiritual warfare in your own life.

I was furnished with an advance e-copy by Netgalley.com in exchange for my honest review.

I am reviewing a copy of Your Battle Belongs to the Lord through FaithWorks and Netgalley:

In this book we are encouraged to put on Armor of God.

Your Battle Belongs to the Lord, Meyer explains that though some of our problems may be a result of a person’s choices and circumstances others are from the spiritual realm.

This book points out too that we should choose our thoughts carefully because they ultimately become the blueprint for our lives. Meyers goes on to point out that God will fight our battles for us, but we have to show up for the fight. We are reminded too that God leads and you should follow that things will not work out if we try to reverse the roles.

We are reminded too Once you recognize the devil is real and active in the world today as your true enemy and the source of many of your struggles, you can overcome them and live a life of peace, freedom, faith and victory. When facing life’s battles, there are certain things you must do for yourself, such as: Diligently studying and applying God’s Word Trusting Him, Praying and maintaining a positive attitude and thankful heart.

We are reminded too that When you do your part, God does His-and He is always ready and eager to defend you and help you.

I give Your Battle Belongs to the Lord five out of five stars!

Happy Reading!

I really enjoy reading Joyce Meyer books. She just speaks the truth plainly for you to understand and apply to your life. While reading her book I never felt like things were so far out of reach. I'm able to read and fully understand what she's saying and where she's going. I really enjoy reading and listening to her.

We are going to have battles but Meyer assures us we are in a place where we have victory in Christ. “When we let God fight our battles, we always win...” (Loc 73/3383) God will fight our battles for us, Meyer says, but we must do our part. She has written this book to help us know our enemy, his nature, his tactics, how to recognize and defeat him and to know our responsibilities in assuring the victory.

What I like most about Meyer is that she is so practical. She wants us to be educated and equipped. It is no surprise that she writes about the importance of our thoughts, keeping them in line with what God says is true of us. We are to take our thoughts captive and I like that she is realistic in saying this takes time and effort. She reminds us of the spiritual battles before us and helps us understand how to use our spiritual weapons, such as the armor of God.

Meyer is so encouraging and so positive. Reading this book, even though it is on the battles we face, is really faith building. Her stories are encouraging and her exploration of Scripture is accurate. I like that she relies so much on the truth of God's Word.

I recommend this book to Christians who want to understand more about the battles we face and how to put ourselves in a place of victory. Meyer gives us the tools we need to use to see victory. “No matter how difficult our challenges are,” she writes, “if God is with us, we have all we need to win every battle.” (Loc 64/3383)

I received a complimentary egalley of this book from the publisher. My comments are an independent and honest review.

I absolutely loved this book, and I learned so much! We need to realize who we are fighting, which is not people. They are just being used. We need to realize that satan is the culprit behind every evil work. We also need to know how to win our battles, and that is what Joyce Meyer has endeavored to do. We also need to know that some battles we do some of the work and God does the rest. We have our job in resisting the devil. It’s not all up to God. As I have always said in my Christian walk – the if/then clause. You do your part and then God will do His. This is a must read for all Christians.

Conquer your problems with God’s help and know your real enemy.Have you ever felt you tried every solution on earth to solve a problem, but nothing worked? Have you ever wondered where the difficulties you face are coming from? Joyce Meyer has answers. In Your Battles Belong to the Lord, Joyce explains that once you recognize the devil-who is real and active in the world today-as your true enemy and the source of many of your struggles, you can overcome them and live a life of peace, freedom, faith, and victory. When facing life’s battles, there are certain things you must do for yourself, like being diligent to study and apply God’s Word, trusting Him, praying, helping others, and maintaining a confident attitude and a thankful heart. But there are other things only God can do. When you do your part, God does His-and He is always ready and eager to defend and help you. In this fresh approach on spiritual warfare, Joyce focuses not only on the nature and strategies of the enemy, but also on the true character and love of God, who will always lead you to triumph. No matter how difficult your challenges are, because God is on your side, you have all you need to win every battle.

I always look forward with great anticipation to every Joyce Meyer book that is released. They always challenge me, inspire and encourage me to grow and become all that God has created me to be. This message is very timely and relevant to where I am today. It's so good to know that the battle is not mine, but it belongs to God.

I have read other Joyce Meyer's books
This one jumped out at me,
I have recently joined a Bible Study, then became a member of that Church
I will be baptized (again- 1st at birth) soon

I have believed Satan's lies about events in my childhood
and have carried that with me. There are 5,467 promises from
God in His Word that I was missing out on (John 8:32)

This book is filled with scriptures, good thought- provoking ideas and lessons
questions we must answer ourselves

I highly recommend this book!
