A very good book, powerful and engaging.
I loved the style of writing, the details in the book, and was fascinated by the stories.

I thought that Jenni Barnett told an exceptional tale, and in quite a believable "storytime" format - I had to stop halfway and double check if these stories were true aboriginal tales or of her own writing.

I am so thoroughly impressed with the attention to detail, the accuracy of the portrayal of dreamtime and story telling, and the representation of the aboriginal people.
The chapters transported me back to Central Australia, to a the time and place of Gran Yans tales.
