It’s been a long LONG time since I picked up an adult contemporary (I’m usually a YA dystopia/murder mystery kinda girl) but this story did not disappoint. I read the novella prequel Bridal Boot Camp prior to starting No Judgments and it served as a perfect introduction. From the get-go I enjoyed every moment of both stories and getting to know the people and geography of Little Bridge Island. Meg Cabot’s world building in this sweet story was phenomenal. I don’t know if this is a real place or not but it officially has a place in my heart, real or not. I truly hope this series takes off and that there is more content to look forward to on Little Bridge Island.

I just don't think Meg Cabot is for me. I couldn't really connect with the writing style and therefore, could not connect with the characters.

I always enjoy Meg Cabot. Her books are predictable (cute girl meets cute guy, minor obstacle is overcome, everyone live happily ever after), but they are guaranteed to be a fun read that makes me happy. This one is the same, Bree is someone that I would want to be best friends with. She escaped her NYC life to figure out next steps in Little Bridge, FL. A hurricane hits the island that throws her in the path of local (and of course, good looking and charming) carpenter, Drew. The two work together to rescue abandoned pets across the island. A fluffy but charming read!

I couldn't put this book down once I got started. Cabot's fast paced love story never had a dull moment and will be the prefect beach read for the summer! Just hopefully not during a hurricane....

"No Judgments" will be hitting the shelves in the height of hurricane season. The quirky characters are sure to blow into your life at a Cat 5 hurricane level and quickly become like friends and family to you. As the storm gains strength, the sparks fly like lightning between Bree and Drew. This pair will keep you laughing as they deal with a serious crisis on Little Bridge Island. No Judgments if you aren't a fan of Rom-Com the story has something for people dealing with the everyday crazy of families and it's an animal lover's delight.

A fun, breezy romance set in the beautiful Florida Keys. I am a big fan of Cabot's novels, and although this was not a new favorite, I enjoyed it as a fast-paced, easy read with a well-paced romance. Bree is a likeable main character with a believable story arc and she and Drew have good chemistry. Cabot is great at writing humor, and the island's funky cast of characters are the best parts of this novel. Not a unique romance novel, but it's light and upbeat and will appeal to many. I liked the island of Little Bridge and would definitely read more books in this series.

I really enjoyed this book! It has been too long since I've been caught up in a Meg Cabot novel, and this was a delight. Awesome read.

Wish this book was coming out in the summer, because it is the perfect beach read! Meg Cabot is a great author to recommend to any reader who is looking for a lighthearted romance featuring a strong female character. In No Judgments, Bree has retreated to a tiny island in the Florida Keys to escape her past and start fresh. Unfortunately, a major hurricane is bearing down. Fortunately, she meets the nephew of the owners of the cafe where she is working as a waitress. Together, they form an on-the-fly rescue team to save pets left behind during the storm (and fall in love). A fun, fast-paced and engaging read from an author you can count on for a terrific romance.

"No Judgements" is a low stress romance full of quirky and likable characters. After some emotional upheaval in her personal and family relationships, Sabrina "Bree" Beckham retreated to the small Florida Key where she and her parents used to vacation. She's drifting through life working as a waitress at the local restaurant and trying to put herself back together when it happens--a hurricane is about to hit the island. Bree decides to stay put instead of retreating to the mainland, a decision that puts her directly into the path of local heartthrob (and rumored ladies man) Drew Hartwell.

There's not a lot of actual tension in this book. The story moves along quite easily, and the romance develops at a nice pace, without a lot of drama thrown in along the way. Most of the tension in the story comes from Bree dealing with her past, and making peace with the things that sent her to the island in the first place. Bree is fun to read, starting off a pit prickly and slowly mellowing as she begins to open up and take charge of her life. "No Judgements" would be a perfect beach read, and if Meg Cabot decides to write any further works set in Little Bridge then I'm I'd have fun with those as well.

Standing up for yourself and finding your own path collide with a hurricane in this story of Bree as she makes a life in Florida. She finds friendship, love, and the strength to be true to herself.
