Anyta Sunday books are always just so fun and sweet and this one was no different. I adored Ben and Milo and their antics. Ben was such a great older brother in that he tried so hard, and didn't stop. As an older sibling, I related so much to his worries and his fears, and they made him such a genuine character. I also loved that Milo wasn't the perfect, adorable kid. He is an 11 year old boy, and by definition (in my experience), 11 y.o. boys get into trouble and generally misbehave. This didn't preclude Milo from being a lovable, amazing character who was even more amazing because he came across as real. It was heartbreaking and beautiful that even though Milo kept sneaking into the old house since he did not want to leave the memory of his parents, but he was still willing to move to Jack's dream house to make Ben and Jack happy. Milo and Ben have such a strong bond, that it was beautiful to read.

I would have read the book just for Milo and Ben, but Jack was an equally amazing character. He was so kind and supportive, and really helped Ben regain confidence in himself as a brother, a caretaker, and as a functioning adult. The chemistry between Ben and Jack was great, and I truly bought the romance. <spoiler>I especially loved the dinner at Luke and Sam's house. The whole scene was absolutely hilarious, and may have made me enjoy philosophy for a hot second :)
I did struggle a little towards the end with the idea that Jack wanted a house so badly that he was willing to hide his relationship with Ben, which was the reason I only gave 4.5 stars. I have never really felt that sort of desire for a thing, so I just could not relate.

Overall, a great read that is generally light and fun, but still has depth and emotion to it. I highly recommend it!

ARC received from Netgalley in exchange for a fair and unbiased review.

*I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.*

After reading book one in this series and not completely liking it, I went into this one with a bit more hesitancy. I will say just a few pages into this one I was practically in love.

The couple is adorable and the obstacle between them isn't themselves or internal, but external-- which is an element that always works better for me. Jack is Ben's brother's teacher, which puts them in a weird spot. Things already seem a little suspect to the school administration because Jack is remodeling Ben's house and living there. Oh yeah, it is one of those stories-- living together, always pushed together, slowly pushed into learning more and more about each other.

The romance here is definitely a slow burn. There is instant attraction and Ben is a fabulous flirt, with Jack being the one to maintain space between them. Honestly, Ben is such a funny character. I loved his humor and the way his interactions with his kid brother. Ben tries so hard and his child-raising methods are indeed unique which adds more humor.

This story is adorable and loving, gripping my emotions without me even realizing it. I 100% recommend this one if you are looking for something sweet and funny that still has potential to make you emotional.

This had all the funny and romantic elements that I love so much of this author. There was an age gap but I didn't really see a problem with it. The characters were adults and everything was consensual. I love how there was this nice family dynamics and I appreciated the brothers' relationship.

This book started out so good, I quickly adored Ben, Milo and Jack. Their situation often made me tear up. I just found that as the story went on I became less interested and it took me awhile to finish it.

I can’t pinpoint why this didn’t end up being a great read for me, sometimes books just don’t work out. I can say that I didn’t like how judgmental the school was about Ben and Jack possibly having a relationship and the teacher giving her opinions to both men and making Ben feel like a failure really pissed me off. That didn’t make me like the story any less but it did irk me.

I don’t know how many times Fanta was mentioned but that was so repetitive. Milo was probably my favorite character. He was such a great kid and for all he was supposed to be a troublemaker he quickly turned it around. He lost his parents so of course he was acting out. That seemed to be a fact the school forgot.

Underneath it all this is truly a nice story and I would suggest giving it a try. Anyta Sunday writes beautifully and I think many will enjoy this.

Anyta Sunday's Made For you, the second book in the Love and Family series is an amazing forbidden romance story.

It's no surprise to me that I love this book. The tropes involved are fantastic; forbidden romance, May to September romance, teacher/parent relationship, raising a sibling story, and slow burn romance. All are entwined to make a wonderful story.

Ben's raising his brother Milo, who just so happens to be the best kid ever! I love every single scene of his. He's an absolute delight and will have you smiling throughout with his humor and spunkiness.

As for Jack, he just happens to be Milo's teacher. The relationship Jack has with Milo is terrific and meeting his brother Ben changes Jack's world completely. The two get to know each other as Jack's hired to renovate Ben's home in his spare time. In other words, let the slow burn fun begin as the tension is high.

There are lots of bird watching scenes and talk about birds, which is quite interesting. Knowing nothing on this subject, I learned a lot while also being entertained, as the brothers bond over this.

Anyta Sunday's Made For You is a marvelous, complicated romance. It wonderfully tells of overcoming obstacles and choosing to have love. It's beautiful and tender and the ending is perfect! I highly recommend this one.

I read almost everything by this author because she writes a lot of different types of books, and some of them are just what I like--family, slow build and set in the southern Hemisphere (not quite Aust, but close enough).

Ben and Jack circle each other very slowly for a number of sensible reasons. I love how careful Jack wants to be with his own heart. Ben is more eager, but is he also younger and in need of intimacy and 'grown up' time. Milo is a crucial character, and he comes across as authentic and real.

The slow long road to love is organic and well worth observing. Great to see Sam and Luke appear, and I couldn't have asked for a better epilogue. #solovely.

Thanks to Netgalley and author for advanced copy. I did read it ages ago, but just have been too busy to post. Made for You came out last week, and it's a ripper. Everyone who loves this author will love this one.

A wonderful slow burn romance, beautifully down. I am in love with these characters so much. Emotional at times and I love the fact there was no angst due to a misunderstanding in their relationship (it was other details but I won’t plot spoil). The characters were adults who communicate which is so rare in books. Heartwarming and adorable, a wonderful read

Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for a free copy for an honest opinion

I didn't read book #1 in this series but I do own it now and plan to read it soon. I was easily able to jump into this book and didn't feel like I missed anything.

This is a sweet, emotional and low angst book about family that I really enjoyed. Ben who is 24 and his brother Milo who is 11 lost their parents suddenly to a car accident and now Ben is raising Milo. Ben is a fun character and he isn't the most mature 24 year old but he's doing his best to raise his brother. However, he hasn't figured out how to discipline Milo so he's resorting to bribery and Milo is struggling in school. Add to that, Ben can't bring himself to live in the family house so he has moved he and Milo to the guest cottage behind the house. Milo just wants to live in his bedroom again but Ben wants to sale and start fresh somewhere that doesn't make him so sad and give him panic attacks.

Jack is Ben's woodshop teacher and flips houses on the side. Jack is living with his ex-boyfriend and his ex's partner. They are all friends but Jack needs to move out and the house he wants to buy isn't available yet. So when he meets Ben he agrees to help him renovate his house in exchange for him living in the house. Jack and Ben are very attracted to each other but Ben feels the age difference (he's 39) is too much and Ben is in a vulnerable place right now so he vows to keep things friendly but not romantic or sexual.

I really loved both MC's and the very slow burn of a romance between the two. I also loved seeing Milo connect with Jack. Ben is snarky and funny and a bit immature but he really grows throughout this book and having Jack to build him up makes a huge difference. Milo is also a wonderful character and he cracked me up. I thought he was a very realistic pre-teen. The three of them just fit so well together and I loved watching the slow growth of them as a family unit. There is a little bit of drama surrounding Jack's co-worker and his fear of not getting the house he has been dreaming of but not too much.

I'm not always a fan of big age gaps but I really liked this one and thought the relationship worked for both characters and Milo. I adored Jack's "Ben is the best" dialogue and of course some of the snark from both Ben and Milo.

This is definitely low on the steam level as the first kiss doesn't even happen until close to the end but I didn't miss it. The emotional connections between the characters definitely made up for it and when they finally get together the payoff is worth it.

Made for You is the second book in the Love and Family series. It is a slow burn ‘forbidden’ May/December romance with a sad backstory. No worries— it’s sweet and low angst too. It features Jack who appeared in book 1, Taboo for You. He now gets his HEA.

Ben (24) has been caring for his younger brother, Milo (12), since the death of their parents and many people around them have been expecting him to fail at this task. The forbidden aspect of the story is that Ben falls for Milo’s woodwork teacher. Jack resists starting anything romantic with Ben for much of the story because of the teacher/parent/carer connection. He becomes Ben’s friend first and helps in caring for Milo and renovating their neglected family home.

The story builds at a slow pace. Ben and Jack become close friends and Jack becomes more of a guardian for Milo. There are some lighter, more humorous moments amidst the serious scenes, with plenty of banter and jokes between the three of them.

Last night I started reading "Made for You", by Anyta Sunday. I received this book as an ARC.

I strongly recommend this book to anyone who likes to read very well written contemporary m-m / gay romance. In my opinion this is certainly as good as the nr. 1 in the series: "Taboo for You", which was amazing all on it's own.
To be honest, I had doubts whether this book could be as good as the first but I was wrong. This book has a strong plot and is, in my opinion, very well executed.

Usually, when I start reading a book I have high hopes for, I get disappointed in one or more area's.

Sometimes the blurb is about the best part of the book.
Sometimes I enjoy the story, but the writing is cringe worthy.
Sometimes one or more main characters appear to be (highly) unlikeable.
Sometimes the story is all sex and/or very badly written sex.

Sometimes all of the above.

So these days, when I start reading a book I sort of expect things like that. But when I can't stop reading, don't want to stop reading, don't find any of the problems I mentioned before, I know, for me, this is a 5 star book.

Hurt/comfort, done in the best way possible.
Thank you Anyta Sunday, for writing this book.
I will for sure, reread this book many times.
Besides that, I hope this book, together with Taboo for You, will be on audio one day. I would love to hear this from a narrator like Michael Ferraiuolo or Seth Clayton. I think it would be amazing.

Wonderful, touching story.

Made for You is a great story with Anyta Sunday's trademark slow-burn romance. It's the second book in the Love and Family series but can be read as a standalone. Taboo for You is the first book in the series but you won't be lost if you don't read it first. You will, however, be missing a great book so I highly recommend it.

This story is a great New Adult, slow-burn, age-gap romance. The blurb is great and it tells you what you need to know about the story. I love Anyta Sunday's books; nobody does slow-burn romance like she does.

Ben is trying so hard to do all of the right things for his young brother, Milo, after their parents died. At twenty-four years-old he never expected to be a parent but he's doing the best he can. When Ben meets Milo's woodworking teacher, Jack, he can't help but be attracted to this man who has it all together.

Made for You is all kinds of witty, funny and tear-jerky. I couldn't help but feel bad for Ben. He wants to be there for Milo but he also needs to have adult time. He's a huge flirt but Jack is pretty good at resisting him. When they finally get it on it's all kind of hot!

I wish I knew why I sometimes find it so hard to find the right words to review books that I love. It doesn't happen all the time but I'm struggling with this one. I went through way more tissues reading it than what I have been lately. I felt the complete connection between all of the main characters – Jack, Ben and Milo, not just Jack and Ben.

It had been too long for me since I'd read a book by Anyta Sunday and I'm so glad to have my dry spell broken by such a great story.

An advanced copy of this book was provided by A Novel Take PR but my review was voluntary and not influenced by the author.

Another wonderful story from Anyta Sunday, I've never read one of her books and not enjoyed it.

This is another slow burning tale of love, which takes a slightly twisting course to the inevitable ending. It is told with love, care and emotion and is thoroughly enjoyable.

The main characters Ben and Jack are adorable, as is Ben's younger brother Milo, who is the main reason for the slow burn.

This is a great read.

Life is not easy, life is full of ugly surprises and nobody teaches you how to deal with loss or how to suddenly become a parent to your 11 years brother. But Ben tries his best, and he says, "when life gives you lemons, throw them at your brother Liam".I adore the two brothers, their similarities, their quirks and banter. And later,I love the way Jack fits right in,like the missing piece of their family's puzzle. It doesn't happen easily, there are bumps, highs and lows, but the important thing is to always set priorities and realize what home represents.
You need to read Made For You, because the book will make you cry, both from sadness and from laughter, but it's guaranteed to live you joy and happiness.
Five stars are not enough for this book.

I loved this book. I really liked book one…but I absolutely loved this book (and I have a confession…I’ve already read it twice).

Even though we meet Jack in book one and Sam, Luke and Jeremy make appearances in this book, it can be read as a standalone.

This is a super slow burn (and it couldn’t have happened any other way) with low heat and high feels.

Jack is AH-MA-ZING! I love the way he treats both brothers. He is exactly what Ben needs in a partner. He gives Milo the discipline and stability he’s been lacking without undermining Ben.

Milo and Ben broke my heart (really broke it) and made me laugh (out loud at times). They have a great relationship which is surprising for their age difference but maybe not after their shared tragedy. Jack helps both of them navigate life after the tragedy which further leads to their healing.

The frowned upon flirting between Jack and Ben is endearing. Building a friendship first ensures their long-lasting relationship.

Jack’s confrontation with the principal…admitting how he feels is almost everything. I say almost because the ‘Ben’s the best because . . .’ list is everything.

I cannot wait to see what else this series brings.

I love this book. I started it and I couldn't put it down until I had finished it. Ben, Jack, and Milo had me smiling so hard my daughter kept asking me what's wrong with you. The book has a great flow and was easy to read. Ben is raising his brother after their parents had. Ben and Milo both have potty mouths and anything liable to come out of it. Jack is a teacher and love to renovate old houses. Ben hires Jack to renovate their house so he can sell it. Ben has a problem with the house an refuses to live in it because it reminds him of their parents. Milo doesn't want the house to be sold and want to move back in it.
Jack is so great with both brothers but he knows because of his job he can't have a relationship with Ben. The book is romantic, some angst, funny, and love that the other MCs from the previous book is in it. I hope you enjoy it much as I did.

Anyta Sunday is the queen of slow-burn romance!

I absolutely loved this book. Ben, Milo and Jack are all fantastic characters and I loved the relationships between each set of characters.

Ben is such a beautiful character, trying his best to keep everything together for his brother and always putting himself last. He truly deserved a HEA!

This book was just so dreamy and sweet. I read it in one sitting with a soppy grin on my face from start to finish.

An absolute treasure of a book!

Ben is worried that he's doing everything wrong in raising his little brother after their parents died and Jack is worried that he won't get his dream home. Their friendship is so easy and calming on both men that it seemed like it would end with them never getting together as lovers. The balanced each other out and I liked that about their respective plots. Ben is constantly worried he's doing the wrong thing but Jack is there to assure him that even just trying means he's doing okay.
This book was sweet and the characters were kind to one another. I liked that they brought up the age difference and didn't hand wave it away as something not to worry about. It is a major difference and the two men both had to figure out how to wade in a relationship with someone who had such a vastly different view on life.

An advanced readers copy was provided via Net Galley by the author Anyta Sunday for the purposes of this review.

When I read the synopsis of this, I instantly requested this title for review. This is part of a series but can be read as a standalone. The author was very kind and offered to send a copy of the first book if I was interested. But I had already started reading it via Unlimited.

While the first book in the series I liked. I thoroughly enjoyed this second installment so much more. This title just seemed more based in reality while the first title had some unbelievable moments involving a teacher giving lavish gifts.

The thing that shines through the most is the secondary story involving the loss of Ben’s parents and his journey being the parent he feels his brother Milo deserves. Once Jack and Ben collide, it is clear that these two have feelings much deeper than ordinary flirtation. Jack is the perfect juxtapose of Ben’s carefree; albeit loving lifestyle.
The co-parenting is like a shot through the heart. It is clear from the beginning how much both characters care for Milo. And Milo has the interest of both parties throughout.
Last but not least is the Epilogue. I am a sucker for a great epilogue, and this one did not disappoint. I was smiling when I finished this book.

Delightful! I very much enjoyed this May-December romance. Characters were well-developed and likable. First book I've read by A. Sunday, and I would be happy to read more.

Ben is a young adult with a ton of responsibility -- most importantly his 11-yr old younger brother, Milo. Ben is still working on who he is as a person, but with the added dose of parent tossed in.

Jack is an electives teacher at Milo's school who is NOT looking for a romance with a younger man. Unfortunately, once he meets Ben, there's no turning back.

I just loved how their relationship grew over time, not just a rush to bed. Jack's care and consideration for Ben and his relationship with Milo is sweet. Jack's care of Milo is just what they both need.

Made for You is fun, sweet, and feel-good!

Made For You stars twenty-four year old Ben who is caregiver to his eleven year old brother Milo after their parents died. Ben is trying to be a good parent while still growing into adulthood. He meets Milo's woodworking teacher Jack and they start to become friends.

Jack is thirty-nine and looking to settle down. He has his heart set on his dream home and signs on to help Ben renovate their family home so it can be sold. Over several months they become very close friends. There's a scene in Ben's parent's bedroom that made my heart ache. Despite that, this book was fairly low angst and a delightful slow burn.

This book pretty much has all of my favorite tropes. Friends to lovers, slow burn, age difference, single parent. It's the second in a series but I didn't feel like I missed much by not having read the first. Jack and Ben are a wonderful couple and I loved, loved, loved Milo. I'm giving this four stars only because I felt the characters had more room for growth. However I do recommend it and I'm looking forward to checking out more of this author's work.
