A great resource for parents! The book starts with an overview of what to do and what not to do in general when disciplining children. Then the majority of the book focuses on specific behavior problems and solutions. Each of these bits includes bullets on things the child might be doing, a bit of an explanation of why, Healthy Mind S.E.T. (things for parents to remember), what to do for solving the problem, what not to do, prevention tips, and a case history explaining a real life example with parent(s) and child(ren) and how they worked it out. In the ebook, it was easy to navigate to specific topics, so getting a refresher would be very simple.
I loved the real life examples and the specific steps to take. Nothing is too complicated, but it may differ from what a parent has been trying and make all the difference.

I really needed this book. I've been strugglign with some minor behaviorial issues in my youngest, and this really did help.

Loved the simple tactics used. Helped me realize the impact certain words and actions have so I can rethink better reactions and practices.

The authors are experts in their fields and thus the advice is balanced and concise.

This book includes suggestions that are easy to implement for almost every issue one can face with a child of various ages and stages of development! I was shocked and pleased to find the section on dealing with a child who says “no” excessively (even when they men yes), as this is something we are currently battling with our 19 month old. The tips were so simple and yet illuminating!

Thankful for this gem and will continue to refer to it over and over again.
