A great resource for parents! The book starts with an overview of what to do and what not to do in general when disciplining children. Then the majority of the book focuses on specific behavior problems and solutions. Each of these bits includes bullets on things the child might be doing, a bit of an explanation of why, Healthy Mind S.E.T. (things for parents to remember), what to do for solving the problem, what not to do, prevention tips, and a case history explaining a real life example with parent(s) and child(ren) and how they worked it out. In the ebook, it was easy to navigate to specific topics, so getting a refresher would be very simple.
I loved the real life examples and the specific steps to take. Nothing is too complicated, but it may differ from what a parent has been trying and make all the difference.
I received an ebook ARC of the revised version of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I have a strong-willed two year old so this book was exactly what our family needed to read! The authors are brilliant at what they do and give the reader simple, easy steps to try at home. I will be telling all my mom friends about this helpful read!

Simply a must read for every parent, educator, social worker, pediatrician ...anyone who interacts with children!

The authors are experts in their fields and thus the advice is balanced and concise.

This book includes suggestions that are easy to implement for almost every issue one can face with a child of various ages and stages of development! I was shocked and pleased to find the section on dealing with a child who says “no” excessively (even when they men yes), as this is something we are currently battling with our 19 month old. The tips were so simple and yet illuminating!

Thankful for this gem and will continue to refer to it over and over again.

Add this to your toolbox! Highly Recommend
