This book, from the author of Amina's Voice, follows Jameela as she and her family navigate some challenges at home while she works at school toward her goal of becoming a journalist. I enjoyed all the characters in this story and felt that they were the strongest part of this novel, which I enjoyed.

I really wanted to read this book as I am a fan of Hena Khan. However, I was given only a PDF for download and PDFs are notorious for being messed up on Kindles for reading, so I will be passing on this book. What a pity. I had hoped to catch up to Khan's latest work.

However, I can comment on the cover, and it is wonderful. It illustrates the premise very well and is fresh and engaging.
