This was a new to me author and I am looking forward to reading more in this series. This was a wonderful cowboy romance.

This was such a cute book! This was the first book I've read from this author and I really enjoyed it. The story was different from anything I've read recently and really captured my attention. It was so well written and the characters were fantastic.

The latest in this series, this is the story of Zach and Stephanie.

He is just back from the army and needs to adjust to civilian life. She is a firefighter and used to being independant. Everything between them seemed to happen a bit too quickly, but overall a good read, full of family.

I found this book really hard to get into, I’m not sure if it’s because it’s the first book I’ve read from this author, and it was clear from the start it was part of a well established series. I always felt I was missing out on something. It stopped the flow as I found myself skimming parts of characters I didn’t know about

Stephanie is a decorated hero firefighter/EMT. She has been lonely as the lone surviving member of her family. She recently rescued two young children from a perilous situation that led to the death of their mother. She has become close to these children and wants nothing more than to adopt them. Unfortunately, social services doesn’t consider her to be a viable option, since she is single and works in a high-risk profession.

Zach recently returned home after serving then years as an Army Ranger. While away, his father died and his mother sold the family’s Texas ranch. He is welcomed home by his uncle and cousins, but feels adrift without a home of his own. While away, his cousins all married and had families, so he feels like the odd man out.

Stephanie and Zach meet through Zach’s family and are instantly attracted to one another. Can two loners find love?

A strong and compassionate soldier cowboy and an equally strong, fierce heroine meet and fall in love in this heartwarming Christmas novel, where the Garrett family provides the safe and loving cocoon for the new romantic couple.
I fell in love with the hero, a former Army Ranger afflicted by PTSD and trying to return to normal life. The balance between largeness and sweetness, strength and kindness and compassion in Zach’s character is admirable. He’s an endearing alpha, with turquoise blue eyes, wide shoulders and big, gentle paws as hands.
I liked Stephanie, too, a courageous and compassionate firefighter.
I must admit that while I found “Cowboy Christmas Homecoming” thoroughly enjoyable, it was also a pure emotional read where I had to suspend the disbelief sometimes with all the couples deeply in love, the instant attraction and fast commitment between Zach and Stephanie, the powerful, tight familial bonds and the quick resolution of several delicate matters (adoption, the PTSD itself, some dimensions of the suspense plotline).
But the magic of a beautiful Texas Christmas, a faithful, loving dog and a cast of appealing secondary characters make this romance novel a very entertaining read.

Zach felt like he was missing so much from his life when he returned home. Life was not how he left it before joining the military. Trying to acclimate once again his cousins and uncle make him feel at home. Meeting Stephanie was something he could have never have imagined and slowly began to knit back those tattered ends of his soul. Keeping her safe was the only thing that matters when her life is threatened. Great continuation of the series. I only wish there was more mention of Beau to round out the series.
