There are a lot of story threads to keep track of but I enjoyed this read. There was one small story plot that I was confused over regarding Tony, the brother, that was not tidily dealt with. I had to read the beginning again to see if I had missed something. Told in multi POV, this was a face paced action romance with some rare and mildly steamy scenes along with some intense family drama. This is the second of a series but it is not necessary to have read the first. Strong characters – I love a kickass h's! It’s got me interested in more from this author.

This one got really messy for Gracie and her family. Gracie it seemed was trying to break away from them a little bit, to just be Gracie, not Gracie with a mission, not Gracie with the big family. The thing though...by the end of the book it seems like Gracie is very thankful for them, that she got to see them all through a different light as she let Dusty in and saw them all through his eyes and how the family all came together to save what was precious to her.

While this threat is now gone to the family and Gracie, it seems there are others coming, others that are closer to them all, others that know a bit too much and have the possibility of hurt them in bad ways.

The Price of Grace just wasn’t the book for me. I just couldn’t get into this book. The author was new to me and the synopsis sounded good but I was very disappointed. Thanks to the publisher for my advance ebook. This is my unbiased review.

I’ve never read anything by this author before so I didn’t know what to expect. The book starts out promising but just fell short for me. Grace is a club owner and a member of a vigilante family. She has lots of secrets and someone is trying to harm her. Dusty is a FBI agent investigating her family. He is drawn to her. There is a lot going on sometimes to much. I didn’t love this book but I didn’t hate it. I’m just somewhere in the middle.

Great read that keeps you on the edge of your seat through to the very end. So much action and mystery it leaves you guessing as to how it all comes together and admittedly I didn’t have it all figured out and I really enjoyed that.

The only issue I had was that the book seemed to jump all over at times and I’d have to go back to make sure I was following right so it took me a little longer to read than normal.

Great book! This book was about Grace and Dusty. You can read it as a stand alone. Grace is the owner of a club. On the side she rescues abused women. She is part of an intriguing family by the name of Parrish. Dusty is an FBI agent sent to investigate the Parrish family and their extracurricular activities. Can Grace and Dusty get past her family and what the do to find a love of their own?

I read this book as an arc from NetGalley

This is book two of the Black Ops Confidential series written by Diana Muñoz Stewart. I had not read the previous book so that may explain some of the difficulty in following the storyline. Gracie is part of a vigilante family that attacks crime head on and with brute force. Dusty is an FBI agent who is investigating the family. I actually liked the book but did find it a little disjointed and there were some confusing twists that I felt were unresolved. A quick holiday read.

Book two in the Black Ops Confidential series continues with Gracie and Dusty's story. Trained since childhood to fight injustice, Gracie goes on missions with her "siblings" to make the world better, one situation at a time. Dusty is an FBI agent who has been tasked with investigating these well organized vigilantes and "Momma" the woman who leads the group. The closer Dusty and Gracie get the more the line between right and wrong is blurred in this twisted tale of blackmail, betrayal, and family. Recommended.

Disjointed storyline; couldn’t seem to make up its mind what it wanted to do. Mystery? Romance? Thrillers? Adventures? Tried to do too many things instead of one thing well.

I really tried to like this book. I kept thinking that if I read one more chapter that I would start to get into the storyline but, I didn't. It was just too convoluted. There was so much going on that I was constantly being pulled in different directions . So much so that I never became involved with the storyline. It was like there were 3 or 4 storys that were being played out at one time. Just when I started to get into one story it jumped to the next and the next. There were way too many stops and starts. The storyline was stilted at best. I don't like to give low ratings on books but, I couldn't honestly give this book a good one. I would not discourage anyone from reading this book. It was just not for me. I did read 18 chapters but, I did not finish the book.
