Jezebeth has been living out the centuries separated from her three sisters in Hell’s version of the Witness Relocation Program.
Noah is a simple horror writer turned demon hunter and damsel rescuer when Lilith, the Queen of the Succubus & Incubus, unexpectedly calls in his life debt.
Wow, lots of action in this book. For Jezebeth to have energy she has to have sex with a man and can change her image to what the man's dream woman is. But then she meets Noah and he is trying to keep her alive and away from the demon that wants to kill her.
Although I did like this storyline and the 2 main characters I had a hard time with Lilith, the Queen of the Succubus & Incubus and her sex scenes with another woman. That was not something I was expecting when I read this and was a turn off for me. Don't get me wrong, I am all in support of the gay community but I don't care to read that. Otherwise I probably would have given the book a 4 star.
Thanks to NetGalley for letting me review this book.

Jezebeth has been living out the centuries separated from her three sisters in Hell’s version of the Witness Relocation Program. Using her Succubus powers, she’s been surviving by meeting her queen’s super-high soul quota–every girl’s got a gift, right? But now that a bounty demon is determined to kill her, Jez’s life just got a whole lot more complicated. Noah is a simple horror writer turned demon hunter and damsel rescuer when Lilith, the Queen of the Succubus & Incubus, unexpectedly calls in his life debt. It’s a tough predicament escorting the alluring succubus without losing his soul—or his heart. But if he fails in his mission he’ll either die a grisly death—or even worse, endure an eternity of torture while the demon who hunts Jez kicks off the first of the Armageddon prophesies!
Well, this was definitely a twist on some standard tropes! Overall a pretty decent read. I think I would’ve rather gotten a full origin story of Lillith and Uriel as they really drew me in, but definitely worth the read. I recommend.

Many centuries ago succubus Jezebel and her sisters aided their Queen Lilith to imprison a demon now that demon is lose and hunting those who imprisoned him. Jezebel is working toward her quota of souls when she is attacked and only escapes with the aid of a human.

Noah Halston is a horror novelist who owes his life to Lilith and she has tasked him with escorting Jezebel to a safe house or his soul is forfeit. Travelling with a succubus is an eye opening experience for Noah and he finds himself battling his attraction for Jezebel.

I struggled reading this book. I had no interest in the main characters. The subplot between Lilith and the angel Uriel was far more entertaining. While the sex scenes were hot I feel it could do with some editing. Honestly give this book a miss. It's been published for years without notice and there's a reason. If the main plot was Lilith the author would have had a much better book.

I received a copy of this book via netgalley in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

An easy read that is well written and will leave the reader satisfied. I do, however, agree with other reviews that Lilith and Uriel were the more interesting characters of the novel - I would absolutely read a novel about these two!

Seducing the Succubus by Cassie Ryan.
This was a very good read with some likeable characters. I liked Jez and Noah. I liked how they were with each other when they first met. I liked the ending too. 4*.

2/5 - I’m confused...

This book reads like it was the first book the author ever wrote and then rushed to publish without editing. The publication date listed on NetGalley is 5/10/10 but on Amazon and Goodreads is listed as 18/12/18 AND under a different author name. What’s going on? Besides some questionable dates and names this book is hard to read.

I like the idea of the story. I even like some of the characters BUT the grammar and redundancy sucks any enjoyment from the read. Third person narrative can be done well and without using the name of the character whose POV it is for the beginning of every sentence.

The steamy scenes could have been amazing without the use of proper physiological names like labia and penis and mons. Just say pussy, cunt, dick, and cock like most steamy reads. Technical terms are off putting.

Writing is hard. This book had potential and it has bones; however, the execution got away from the author. This review bums me out, I was excited for this story.

2 stars this book was not for me.... don't get me wrong I like my books raunchy, this was a bit too raunchy for me. The main characters were flat and had no real chemestrey. I loved the character Lillith though. Truly a interesting demon/woman. But not enough to continue the series ..

A good story with an interesting and unique plot. I liked the story progression and the romance of the main leads. Simply put a good book.

I liked the side plots more than the main plot. I enjoyed Lillian and Uriel's relationship but had trouble getting interested and invested in Jezebel and Noah's story. It was hard for me to finish this book which is why I only gave it 2 stars.

Why was I more interested in the secondary characters than the actual leads? Well to put it simple, the forbidden love and the energy surrounding Lilith and Uriel drew me in from day one, and I couldn't turn the pages fast enough to read their parts in the story. Don't get me wrong, the lead characters were likable to some extent but I found it hard to believe they were able to create this 'strong connection’ and fall in love in a matter of days. There was a lack of depth and the romance that developed between them was flat and instant. I honestly wish this series focused more on the Archangels and their story. Overall this series was a enjoyable paranormal romance.

Didn’t love this book and I didn’t finish it. The two main characters were dull. I was more interested in Lilith and Uriel’s relationship and wish that this was actually their story. They were far more interesting.

Jezebeth is a succubus out for a feeding when she is attacked by a demon and saved by a handsome human. She must work with him to survive and make it home to Lilith. Along the way, the two begin to develop a connection.

I was surprised by how much I loved this story. Although the main story is about Jezabeth we get a meet an amazing cast of characters. I found myself rooting for so many characters and when the book was over wanting to see where this story goes.
