Thanks to Random House and Emma Curtin for the opportunity to read and review this book. The Night you Left is a drama based on a woman whose fiance disappears the day after proposing to her. All is not what it appears to be though and he hides secrets about his past. A thriller that will keep you guessing. Was a little slow to begin with bit an enjoyable read.

This book had drama, tension, suspicions, the works! It felt different to other books as twists emerged throughout the book rather than there being one big reveal. This meant that the end was perhaps less of a climax but it did not detract from the enjoyment. I don;t want to give any spoilers away but I was happy with the ending, although not sure how I would have been left feeling if I was Grace!

This isn't my usual genre, but I really enjoyed it. It held my attention throughout, and I couldn't wait to find out what happened. The ending didn't disappoint, but I do wish a bit more time had been spent in the aftermath, that we'd stayed with Grace a bit longer. All in all a good read. The characters were well-developed. I can't help thinking Cora got off lightly! Recommended, and I will look for more by this author.

A thriller that grows in tension as it progresses. Admittedly the story starts off slowly but stick with it because once the pace picks up it's full of twists and turns. Themes of betrayal and hiding secrets run through the story which keep you guessing as to which characters can be relied upon. An enjoyable and exciting read.

Tense, gripping and filled with twists and turns. Another excellent thriller from Emma Curtis that will keep you hooked right to the very end.

I really struggled with the story line sadly, it was slow moving and clunky at times. The blurb made of sound much better than it was, sadly it didn’t deliver.

I really enjoyed this book. It has great main characters and a really good story line. I would highly recommend this book to anyone.

The Night You Left is possibly the most unbelievable, slow paced boring thriller I’ve ever read. I only read to the end to see if there was a big twist that would leave me with more positive feelings about this book. I actually finished reading at 97% because I couldn’t take any more, there’s plenty of better books available don’t waste your time on this one.
