Camilla is mourning her dead husband. He was killed in a car accident when she was driving.

Valerie is a girl from high school who seems to have it all according to her instagram page. Valerie becomes somewhat obsessed with what Val is doing. Then she gets a message from Val asking for help. Camilla is so desperate for a friend she does anything she can to come to Valerie's rescue.

This book was okay. Yes the ending was a surprise but it just didn't do it for me. Thank you Netgalley for giving me the chance to read this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Lynch never disappoints. Her books are dark, twisted, and perfect! I can never quite figure them out and this book was no different! Very well written.

This is an enjoyable read, with a really good twist at the end. Keeps you on the edge of your seat at times. The first time I’ve read a book from this author.. I’ll be keeping my eye out for more in the future.
Thank you netgalley for the opportunity to read this

Absolutely fantastic thriller! A new author to me and it was an un-put-down-able read! Great twists, awesome characters and I immediate got another book by this author. Highly recommended! Put this on your list!!

I struggled with this one - the writing matches the disconnect in the lead character's mind as it jumps from topic to topic but that makes sense because if the character was in disarray but narrating perfectly there would be a major disconnect. She had so many opportunities to call the police though and just didn't which was annoying. All was going well (well, not well, but the story kind of made sense) until about 80% in when it just deviated completely from the path and not really in a good way. Lots of things happened that didn't really fit with the rest of the story. The last 20% let the rest of the story arc down.

A creepy thriller. I kept questioning everything I read up until the very end. A bingeworthy read for 2019.

This went in a totally different direction than I expected, but I was here for it! This was sensationally written and a roller coaster!

Having read the majority of this author's work, one thing she can do is tell a tale. Like, Follow, Kill is no different.
The story follows Camilla Brown as she was trying to get her life back together after being involved in a major car accident that killed her husband and left her with physical and emotional scars.
As you are reading, you soon come to realise that she is obsessed with Valerie Hutchens, a popular girl from her school.
Usually with thrillers, you have a clear cut "bad guy" but this book was different. Whilst you are willing Camilla to recover and get her life back on track, there is also something sinister with her online stalking. The flashbacks of her younger life and her relationship with her husband help you put the pieces of her life together and helps you get a good understanding of her life.
The was a fast paced read and as the tension built I found myself reading that much quicker. By the time I felt I had just got off a rollercoaster and I was still trying to process the unexpected ending. Another good read

This book is told in first person by Camilla, a woman who is living in her own world at home through social media. It explores the forever present dangers of social media and is chilling to the very core. A really fast paced, dark read, with some hairy moments, A psychological thriller full of suspense. Thanks to Net galley for the ARC.

'Like, Follow, Kill' is a strange book and I am still not completely sure if I enjoyed it. It follows the story of Camilla Brown who was disfigured in a car terrible accident that took the life of her husband. Her only contact with the outside world is online where she spends her days obsessing over people who she believes 'have it all'. One of her obsessions is ex-schoolmate Valerie who Camilla believes has the 'perfect' life with her perfect good looks, fantastic clothes and glamorous globe trotting lifestyle. Whilst following Valerie's numerous Instagram posts and videos of her fantastic trips and travelling experiences Camilla notices a new video post in which Valerie states she feels as though she is being watched stalker - a feeling Camilla shares when Valerie goes missing. Clarissa decides it's up to her to help her ex-classmate and sets out to find Valerie before it's too late.
I feel that 3 stars is fair with this book as I enjoyed most of the story until the ending which I found just too unbelievable and far-fetched to be credible.
All in all a fairly good read and thanks to Netgalley for the ARC.

This has that sticky quality that so often overwhelms a story with a drinky narrator. I'm sick to death of it. Also everyone involved is super unlikable. I dislike not knowing who I should root for.

This started off kind of depressing and slow, but picked up speed rather quickly. Well written, hard to put down.... didn't think I'd enjoy it as much as I did. I will definitely recommend this.

This was a crazy thrill ride of a book! I find books related to social media quite interesting. Camilla is deeply scarred both physically and mentally following a wreck she caused that killed her husband Chris. Camilla rarely leaves her tiny apartment and is always drinking and abusing her prescribed medication. She's your classic unreliable narrator. She's a bit obsessed with watching the instagram feed of Valerie Hutchins, a girl she barely knew from middle school and high school days. Valerie was everything that Camilla was not yet wanted to be. One day Valerie posts that she thinks she may have a stalker and then her posts suddenly stop. Camilla gets a message from Valerie that she needs her help. What follows is Camilla going on a road trip desperate to find and help Valerie who she barely knows. The ending I would never have guessed. I really enjoyed this book a lot - it was well written and quite suspenseful and was a fast and easy read. Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for an advanced copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

This was a carefully crafted story with plenty of twists and turns. I enjoyed how you little by little where able to discover what was going on. One thing is for sure this story really puts social media into a different light. Nothing is ever as it seems on social media.
I enjoyed this story very much. Thank you to Netgalley for complimentary copy. Thoughts and opinions are my own.

A very good thriller that had me hooked to the end.

It is something we all do - stalking social media pages of people we know. Like, Follow, Kill takes it one step further and suddenly there is a lot for the reader to deal with it. It was a rollercoaster with one twist after a turn coming fast.
The book is really something that kept pace and was thrilling to read start to finish.
Go read!

Thanks to Netgalley and Harper Pulse and Killer Reads for providing this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Camilla has become a recluse after being injured and scarred in an accident. She spends all her time on Instagram following Valerie, a former classmate who posts often from various locations. One night, Valerie posts that she fears that a stalker is after her. After Camilla sees this she decides to travel to Paducah, Kentucky, the last place Valerie was seen.

This synopsis sounds pretty basic but this book gets totally nuts at the end. I thought I sort of knew what was going on and I did not. This was a quick and entertaining read.

I am reviewing a copy of Like, Follow, Kill through Harper Impulse and Killer Reads/One More Chapter and Netgalley:

Disclaimer due to subject matter and Language I do not recommend this book to readers under the age of Seventeen:

After the accident that killed her husband, Camilla Brown locked herself away from the world. Her only friends were the friends she had online. Camilla can follow anyone she likes in private. And Camilla likes a lot…

Camilla is obsessed with Valerie’s posts, her sickening joy for life, her horribly beautiful face. But then Camilla spots something strange in one of Valerie’s posts – a man’s face looking through her window, watching, waiting…
And then Valerie goes missing…

I found Like, Follow, Kill…Three our of five stars…

Happy Reading!
