I loved this anthology of excerpts. One was better than the next. Jojo Moyes, Eoin Colfer, JT Ellison, Kevin Wilson, the list goes on. I cannot wait to read these works in their entirety and I will definitely be reading more Buzz Books collection in the future. I can’t believe I’d never heard of them before.

These samplers really make me look forward to new books coming out and this has been one of my favorite samplers yet. There are lots of old favorite authors coming out with new books, including: Linwood Barclay with Elevator Pitch, Lee Child with Blue Moon, Robin Cook with Genesis, Joseph Finder with House on Fire, and Barbara Ehrenreich with Had I Known.

And lots of new to me authors I want to read, especially in the biography category, like: Bob McDonald with An Earthling's Guide to Outer Space, Julie Andrews with Emma Walton Hamilton with Home Work, and Adam Rippon with Beautiful on the Outside.

There are way too many new books coming out that I want to read, and no where near enough time to read them all....what a great problem to have!

The Publishers Lunch Buzz Books series is an excellent guide for anyone who loves books and keeping up to date on new arrivals. This series is the go-to place for samples of literary releases prior to publication. Buzz Books 2019: Fall/Winter offers readers uncomparable access to advance excerpts from promising debut authors to such notables as Margaret Atwood, Salmon Rushdie, and Tracy Chevalier.

Non-fiction categories include social issues, science & technology, history and crime, essays, criticism & more, as well as biography & memoir. This year's biography & memoirs include Julie Andrews, Elton John and Mitch Albom among others.

I highly recommend Buzz Books 2019: Fall/Winter and the ongoing series for readers who want to keep abreast of upcoming releases and make well informed decisions on book purchases.

Great synopsis of books to be published. Excerpts were not my particular genre but were interesting.

Containing extracts from so many books, this was both an exciting and frustrating read. I didn’t want many of the extracts to finish. So many new books to now seek out and read !!!

As always, fun to get previews of upcoming books to make my turn and library wish list. I don't actually understand why these collections need reviews.

How I LOVE these buzz book issues. I always look forward to getting a sneak preview of the books to come and, once again, have added a plethora of books to my to-read pile. It is going to be an exciting season!

Many thanks to NetGalley and Publisher’s Lunch for an ARC in exchange for an honest review. My opinions are 100% my own and independent of receiving a copy of Buzz Books Falls Winter 2019 in advance.

Fall is the biggest season publishing has. There is so much to look forward to. Buzz books, for those that don’t know, is a selection of the best of what is being released for that season. There is one for young adults and one for romance and this one which covers the rest of adults books. Not only do they provide a list of what is being released, there is a selection of excerpts so that you can make a decision as to whether or not you like it. They come out twice a year spring/summer and fall/winter.

This season does not disappoint. There are new books by JoJo Moyes, Kevin Wilson, and Jeanette Winters. Eoin Colfer, famous for his Artemis Fowl series, has an adult offering and The Perks of Being a Wallflower’s Stephen Chbosky’s long awaited and highly anticipated second book, Imaginary Friend, will finally arrive. The sequel to The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood called The Testaments and so much more from well known authors to highlighted debuts. There are 12 memoirs and 2 notable true crime plus pages of other non fiction selections. Honestly there are 22 pages of what Publishers consider to be the best of what is coming out.

There are 34 excerpts of fiction to choose from and 11 excerpts of non fiction so you can get a sense of what you might like and what there is to look forward to. Honestly, I have to stop getting these because my TBR (to be read) list grows exponentially there is so much to choose from. But go through every selection I did, just in case there was something I might miss. I also like to see what’s new in series that I have been following from more established authors. I highly suggest getting this season’s Buzz Books for the excerpts alone. Really interesting choices, I’m sure you will find your next favorite read right here!

I can't wait for so many of these new releases to hit the stores! Many great titles by great authors - including both seasoning authors and debuts. I've added so many books to my TBR!

This was very helpful in planning out my winter reading! This guide contains a list of upcoming fiction and nonfiction books including a number of book excerpts. While I already had several of my favorite authors preordered, I found several I wasn't aware of including Malcolm Gladwell's new book. I also noted several titles in the debut section. After reading through this guide, I have quite a list added to my TBR!

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for this review copy.
