I honestly didn't know what I was getting into when I picked up this earc, but I'm glad I was able to experience these sweet and steamy stories.

Consisting of a super diverse cast of superhero characters, Super Fun Sexy Times Vol 1, illustrates 5 individual snippets of couples exploring various sexual fantasies. This collection of stories features everything from m/m and w/w romances to nonbinary romance roles and kitten play kinks with people of various races, species (aliens), sizes, and ages.

I love that these stories were not only incredibly inclusive, but also covered so many healthy relationships convos in such few pages (i.e. using condoms for safe sex, discussing limits/fantasies/health/history with your partner, etc). All the partners were incredibly supportive and loving, and it highlights that we'd all probably have a lot more fun during sexy time if we were open and honest about what we wanted/needed.

My only real complaints are that I wish the character cards (read: explanation of who was featured in the story) were at the START of each story rather than the end, and that these stories were given more time to grow and develop. If they were a little bit longer I feel like they could have been more fleshed out and not felt so instasex. But, hey, it's in the name so I guess I should understand what I signed up for.

Whether this is in your comfort zone or not, I think healthy conversations could stem from reading this collection.

This was a lovely exploration of the sex and relationships in five short stories.
I loved every story and the interactions of these fully fledged out characters. They all felt distinct from one another without feeling disjointed. The topics were handled with nuance without turning preachy and you can find something for every taste.
Each story ends with a short bio of the characters which I absolutely adored. You can tell that you only get to see a small glimpse into their lives and that feels very organic. I was smiling through pretty much all of them.

The art drew me first to this comic. I love the soft colours and the non-outlines of the characters. It does make it hard to pick up what's happening it times since the colour schemes are very minimalistic; some more contrast would have helped. Some panels also felt out of place and it was hard to figure out where the characters were moving at times. And sometimes, the speech bubbles changed colours which I personally founded confusing, especially if it wasn't indicating someone new talking or to distinguish a phone conversation etc.
But these are all small issues which did not hinder my enjoyment.

I truly hope we will get more volumes with a higher page count and get more relationships or more of these ones. I just want more.

I LOVED THIS GRAPHIC NOVEL! I have never experienced this genre in graphic novel form before, and it definitely adds to the appeal. I loved each short story, and the variety of them. The topic of each piece was so brought spectrum, very "out there" feeling, which is kind of nice to see? Most erotica is very black and white. I enjoyed that the majority of the stories featured were based on people already in relationships, and it was more of a sexual exploration within that relationship. The topics that were focused on were very well thought through, most being very sensitive matters. I appreciated the amount of consent that was given and focused on in each story as well, that's a really great piece to add into erotica. Some of the speech bubbles got a little muddled for me, so the colour changing speech bubble idea that was in a few of the stories would work out great as a constant, in my eyes, but this didn't take away from the story lines for me. All in all, such a fun read! 5/5* for me! I definitely look forward to more volumes!

I was intrigued by this title and the description but was ultimately let down by the content and the art.

Love the Art Style and the naughtiness but super short just like this review will be! :) But of course its got to have 100 characters long. hmmm I love superheroes so this was really good! I love the first and last story and the one with the f/f romance with the silly cat! LOL!

Magnificently inclusive, LGBTQIA-orientated, and sex positive. At times it felt a little too contrived but I was very invested in every short.

was looking for some erotica on netgalley and found graphic novel. Curious what that would be like, I downloaded it.

I liked the stories; they were cute. I would have thought the graphicness of the artwork might bother me a little, but it didn't. Not even in the bondage story (which I usually don't like).

In all, I think I'm more of a words person than a pictures person.

This graphic novel was surprisingly... graphic.

Not that it’s a bad thing! But the first anatomy I saw kind of took me aback. I loved it though!

This was a graphic novel of 5 short stories. There was SO MUCH lgbt rep. I loved it. It explores all kinds of sex positive things. Consent, safe words, trying and failing new endeavors. It was SO GOOD. I can’t recommend this enough. But beware, it is nsfw and has nudity.

This was very very weird to me some of the characters looked crazy I didn’t know it was that graphic that fist story between the m/m characters was like woah okay just get to it in the first scene... I don’t really read books like this but for people who like erotica then it is for you

Not what I expected but liked it nonetheless. Really good artwork and some well told stories. Worth a read.

OMG,omg, omg!I found something similar to Sunstone in themes, art, humor and hotness and I am obsessed!
Super Fun Sexy Times is a graphic collection of 5 novellas set in a world of superheroes, supervillains, their sidekicks and even aliens. The setting was amazing! I want to know so many things about this world now. Like gender changing aliens. Tell me more!
Each story was sex positive, had people of different body types, genders, sex preferences. Characters actually talked about their desires, conversations were open and honest, nobody was shamed for the things they want. The more stories like this the better this world will be.
And did I mention the hotness? Cause holy cow was it hot! I blushed quite a few times while reading.
I will read anything by this author now, that's for sure.

There are a lot of pros to this title: visibility, sex positivity, attractive art, and a sense of humor. However, it didn't really capture my interest.

An ok read. For me there was nothing special about it.

I decided to read this because I really liked Meredith McClaren's short in Twisted Romance and wanted to try more by her, even though that "more" was completely out of my comfort zone. It may be not my kind of thing at all, but I still really appreciated some parts of it, from the way it talked about consent to what it said about fantasies not being necessarily what a person would like in real life - and, of course, the representation of queer and kinky sex involving people of various body types and ethnicities.

This was like, really good. Initially I wasn't going to read this because the description didn't sound queer but literally all 5 of the stories are queer! And so diverse, there's a genderfluid character, and fat characters, and POC. Consent is discussed, thoroughly, in a couple of the stories. Just all around really great!

super fun sexy times is an erotic anthology graphic novel, made up of five short stories about, like the titles suggests, people in the superhero-ing/supervillain-ing community having fun sexy times. even though there are only five stories, and it’s a quick read, it feels like it features so much. we go from superheroes discussing what sexual acts they are comfortable with - which of course leads to more than just a conversation - to a hit man nearing 60 coming home to his husband after a frustrating day at work.

i love superheroes, and supervillains, so much. characters being relaxed and domestic are also always the death of me. combine those two, add some very nsfw content, and you’ve got this graphic novel. so often, the only super-stories we get are from the big two, and while they surely have fun titles too, they can not compare to this. the art is cute and fun and nonsexualised in a way other non-erotic comics often don’t even manage. there is a difference between a scene being sexy because the characters are doing sexy things, and an artist not being able to draw a woman in spandex without giving her suit boob socks.

this anthology is body positive, queer inclusive, with many characters of colour. it’s just really nice to see a black, queer, fat superhero being confident and loved by her girlfriend, you know?

i loved how consensual everything is, and how it shows characters taking safety and their partners comfort seriously. one story opens up with the two girlfriends discussing their plans to explore a fantasy later that night. they decide on a safe word and one of them double and triple checks that her partner is not doing anything out of obligation and that both of them are ready. there is asking for consent during the act itself, which is just as important as beforehand, and we also get to see characters thinking something was going to work for them, but realising during that it isn’t. they are not ridiculed or shamed for this, instead the partner comforts them and says that of course it’s okay. these can all sound like very basic things, and i think they are, but unfortunately healthy sex isn’t always practiced in media - or in real life - so i do think it’s important to point out and lift up.

there are some killer tropes being used throughout this anthology, and i was living for it while reading. two people who don’t particularly like each other get locked in together OH NO whatever will they do?? a strict but secretly soft character is in a relationship with a big cute goofball, HOW will this play out?? it’s also funny, with characters talking and laughing and being comfortable with each other. each story is only 20-ish pages, so we don’t get to know everyone extremely well, but i was still very drawn to every single couple and would love to hear from them again.

all in all, this anthology is a fun and light read, but maybe don’t read it out in public since, as i said in the beginning, it is erotica. but if you’re comfortable with seeing pictures of graphic sex, i’d highly recommend you pick it up.

This graphic novel is definitely NSFW/for mature readers. I would not recommend this for a younger audience since some scenes are very much explicit. That said, I very much enjoyed it.
I liked how diverse the couples were and I also appreciated the fact that every couple had their story and then the smut was included in it. It wasn’t just sexy times, there were plots, and very good ones at that. The book is very sex-positive, something that was very nice.
I would totally read a whole book with some of these couples as main characters.

We definitely need more sex positivity in this world. This is an interesting, blush-inducing set of graphic (in more ways than one) superhero stories. If you know me, you know I love to see superheroes in all kinds of settings. This one was…a bit…different. Fun and worth reading if you can handle mature material.

Even though I knew from the description that this was a sexy graphic novel, I couldn't have been prepared for what I discovered. I was surprised by the graphic nature of the illustrations (surprised, not offended) and how they worked well to tell a fun story and include a lot of unsaid things as well. There are five short stories here, all of them are chock full of humor and inclusion, with characters displaying a wide variety of gender, race, sexuality, and body image. Plus there are super-heroes! This was an overwhelmingly positive reading experience.

I have been introduced to gold. This is a comic of short stories with villains, super heroes and scientists. The stories cover hookups, couples, bdsm, and a good time. This is a world that all adults should be aware of, The book ended much too soon. Do yourself a favor, read this book with your partner, and enjoy the super sexy fun that is sure to occur upon reading.
