This book really wasn’t for me the graphics weren’t great and the stories seemed disjointed and half the time made no sense. I suppose if you like comics and sex then this is for you.

Received a review copy from NetGalley for an honest review.

Things that hit my interests? This is that thing.

Sex-positive. Consensual. Diverse. Erotica with a wide variety of orientations, body-types and kinks. And it's *funny*.

As has been said, "Super Fun Sexy Times" is very explicit. All five short stories involve superheroes, villains or sidekicks having sex and every one of them deals with a different aspect of sexuality: caring for your partner after a bad day, acting out a kink your partner is into that you're not, revealing the kink you've been hiding, etc. It's just that the people doing these things wear spandex and jump around on buildings in their spare time.

With a few superpowered exceptions -- ice hands are a problem at times -- these are stories that could be written about anyone. Who hasn't had sexy times interrupted by an unexpected cat? And don't let "consensual" scare you off. One story is simply two people negotiating over a kitchen table what they will and won't do together and it may be the hottest story in the bunch.

Meredith McClaren's style, both writing and artwork, provides erotica that's more adorable than smutty. I loved it.

Lives up to its title

This was a fun, quick read on a topic I never gave much thought: the intimate lives of superheroes. I liked the illustrations and stories, although the latter were too short to really have good character development.

unexpected, very funny, I liked the design and the graphics, inclusive, and very explicit content, featuring superheroes/supervillains! will definitely keep an eye out for more from this author.

Yep this sure was what u call super fun sexy time and A very NSFW/Rated M for mature.

I didn’t expect what I wasn’t going into when I started but damn this was some very sexy time between such diverse couples which I really enjoyed and a plus for that was they were all superhero’s and the smut was definitly there.

One of the many pros I have of this book is how diverse it was from- colour/interracial couples and using M/M relationships F/F relationships.

The illustrations all the way throughout were bright and bold which really enjoyed and if u haven’t guessed there will be a lot of genitalia on show.

Overall a super quick and easy read which I also enjoyed aswell if there is going to be a second volume I will definitely be checking it out.

I really liked my reading! It's so rare to read about those subject. Where I work we don't even have some LGBTQIA erotica. It's so rare to see this in librairy and it's not okay. We need more of those!
I will buy this graphic novel when it will come out and I will talk about it a lot.
Thank you Netgalley for the nice discovery.

This book is DEFINITELY super fun sexy. It is decidedluy an M for Mature book, with explicit scenes throughout.

SUPER FUN SEXY TIMES positively highlights various aspects of different types of relationships as they relate to sexuality. The art style is semi-realistic, and the colors are clear, making character differentiation easy to see. The portrayal of LGBTQ+ love is heartwarming and realistic - while also being a fantasy fulfilling book.

3.5 Stars out of 5

I didn’t know what to expect with this graphic novel but I was pleasantly surprised. This was a quick, fun read with a lot of steamy sex and a super hero twist. The illustrations and stories are great and there’s something for everyone.

Everyone needs love—even super heroes, archnemeses, super villains, mercenaries, mad scientists, assassins, interstellar beings, non-binary, and gender fluid people. In Super Fun Sexy Times Meredith McClaren’s nuanced characters explore the kink spectrum with humor, compassion, and without judgement. Volume one of what promises to be a titillating series with as much emotional depth as sexual heat is sure to hook adult readers into getting to know more about these intriguing characters. These initial thumbnail biographies and vignettes are effective teasers.

The sexually explicit illustrations are mostly anatomically correct with the exception of one black female’s genitalia. Black box is slang for a black woman’s vagina, but the inner flesh is actually in shades of pink. The attempt made to render that contrast falls a bit short. Generally, humans and other character species are drawn with strong feline and anime influences rendered in a predominately pastel and gray scale palette. Skin colors for the black characters sometimes translate with a grayish undertone that remains common in comics even though it’s not a shade found naturally in real flesh (severely dry and unmoisturized skin included). This challenge in producing truly brown shades to represent people of color continues throughout the industry. Cosmetics manufacturers finally solved their brown pigment issues. Comics will, too. (Eventually?) And in a refreshing switch, almost all of the simply human characters are people of color.

Super Fun Sexy Times organically includes characters as multifaceted representation across ethnicity, age, species, professions, body types, and sexual orientations and identities. Sexual intimacy in each chapter starts with revelations and brief conversations in support of the idea that foreplay begins in the heart and mind.

I LOVED this book. Properly loved it. You know sometimes you're hungry and you don't know what you want to eat, and then someone brings you a meal that turns out to be the exact thing you didn't know you wanted? That's this book. I didn't know I wanted queer, diverse, body-posi superhero smut in my life – but it turns out I do. And I'm so happy I found it.

For me, this book succeeded on all the levels it needed to. The artwork is beautiful, the layouts are great, the characters are well-defined and diverse, the dialogue is snappy, the stories are surprising, and the sexy bits are varied and actually properly sexy.

I loved this book, and I can't wait for the next one.

A short and enjoyable sexy comic book with a handful of stories and couples. Featuring M/M, F/F and F/M, we get a variety of drawings showing fun playtimes between the couples, as well as a little info on them at the end of each story. I’m looking forward to the next book from this author

This was incredibly unique. I loved the diversity in it. I think that if you are interested in this type of work, you should definitely read it. This was the first erotic graphic novel I've read and I was pleasantly surprised. The art work wasn't my favorite, but it didn't put me off too much.

This is a funny and sweet adult graphic (heavy on the graphic) novel featuring superheroes, villains and their sidekicks in intimate, sexy, and fun action.

Sex-positive, inclusive and representation of gender, body type, and even species (alien), this piece is gorgeously illustrated and hilarious.

I have already preordered the print version.

Man oh man I don't think I was ready for that! lol

I did know it was going to be sexual but I didn't realize just how detailed and in-depth it was going to get - with graphic pictures and what not. It didn't bother me, just surprised!

I will say I wasn't totally in love with the artwork. I didn't hate it but I definitely did not love it. The stories were cute though and it's kind of a fun look behind the scenes as to what superheroes do.

A queer positive explicit take on the sexual lives of superheroes! The characters are very different and diverse. Fun and enjoyable :)

Pretty much does what it says on the tin. I liked when they just expressed little hearts. I liked the art. They all looked like fun cats (hilarious how later this was a kink for one of the characters). Super Fun Sexy Times deals with issues of consent, gender expression, sexy times going not so sexy (I can relate) and interspecies (intergalactic?) sex.

I enjoyed it, but thought the characters could be more than what drives them sexually and a blub about them as superheros/villians/etc.

It's explicit, but perfect and beautiful. And really good sex. Yay.

I got this from NetGalley in exchange for this review.

4/5 - I always have a beard time rating and writing reviews for graphic novels. They are art with a story attached. The art was amazing, I loved the graphics. The stories were great as well. Diverse in every area. I guess if I had to pic a reason for rating 4/5 would be, some of the were weak vehicles to get to the erotica scenes.

*** thank you for allowing me to review this arc.

I liked the diversity in this and some stories were really cute, but the art style was not my thing. It was cute, it was quick, worth a try if you can

Just because some people seem to have selective vision when reading the summary and genres for this book: THIS IS AN EROTICA BOOK. THERE ARE GRAPHIC SCENES. A LOT OF THEM. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Luckily I knew that going in, so I had a really great time reading this. There are five short stories and I really liked the diversity in terms of character design, sexuality, and even where people fell on the heroes vs villains spectrum. I was worried the art would be too cartoony and undefined at first, but once I got into it I found that it actually worked really well. This reminds me a lot of some of the stuff that Smut Peddler puts out so I would say if you like their anthology titles you will probably like this.
