Like the rest of Lisa Wheeler's dino books, this Dino-Halloween is a winner. The colors are vivid and kids will have run reading the adventures of the dinosaurs on Halloween night. My only knock is that it felt longer than I thought it would be.

What’s not to love with this adorable Halloween book starring your favorite dinosaurs in costumes?! The pictures are fun and colorful and will surely entertain the little dino lover in your life. They rhyming is also great. I look forward to reading this one to my students in October.

I love how the face of each dinosaur is so expressive as we see them scared, perplexed, happy.. The colors in the book are vibrant and will catch your eye. One of my favorite moments that I thought was also a good lesson for young ones is when they go into the haunted house. This section takes up a couple of pages where they start off a bit nervous. Then, when they go inside one runs outside because he is so scared, but in the end the readers are told that some were brave because they knew it was all pretend.

Lisa Wheeler has made a career out of dinosaurs. Her Dino-Sport books are stables for story time, and it looks like she's taking on holidays. This dinosaur/Halloween mash-up works much like her previous volumes. For the most part the rhyme works well. The plot begins to lag when the little dinos have finished their trick or treating, but it's a forgivable offense. Small dino lovers will enjoy this book, and will look forward to future dino holidays.

My daughter LOVES Dino-Wrestling and Dino-Swimming and we've read most of the other dino sports books. Now the dinosaurs are celebrating holidays?! Great! We have read Dino-Christmas but dinosaurs celebrating Halloween? Even better! My daughter loved this one too! Can't wait for more holidays to celebrate!

This book is sure to keep any little mind entertained time and time again. The amazing illustrations and brilliant coloring combined with the cutest Dino Halloween rhyme I’ve ever encountered, is sure to be a book that’s perfect for any child’s library.

This book combines several of the things my boys loved the most when they were younger - - dinosaurs and Halloween! I thought the book was done quite well. The illustrations were vivid and fun. The content was entertaining and would keep a young one's attention. I could definitely see this being a go-to book in a child's bedtime story routine leading up to Halloween.

This book was so much fun. The pictures were bright and vivid. The text had fun rhymes and flowed well. The dinosaurs all had cute nicknames. I think any child that loves dinosaurs, and loves dressing up for Halloween would enjoy this book!
