I thought this was a fantastic book to use for explaining the cycle of tree leaves and the function of chlorophyll. It walks through the process and explains the terminology in clear and concise language. It then further details what happens in the fall and winter when the leaves change color and fall from the trees. Also, in the first section of the book, it shows the different types of tree leaves so you can learn to identify them by shape. Even though this book is put forth in very simple terms, it would be handy for those studying leaves in any type of an environmental science class or a class where leaf identification is needed. Overall, this is a pretty book which is also quite useful.
