I found this book problematic and offensive. - "Happy Science is a new religion that overcomes the weaknesses of traditional religions." This is just one example. I'm not even religious and I find this kind of statement deplorable. You should never have to put others down to raise yourself up.

Having no synopsis and only the title to go by, I didn't quite know what to expect from this book. It turned out to be a highly egotistical 'sales pitch' for a 'new' Buddhism', which I only managed to skim through. Even if some of the points made were relevant, it is very difficult to swallow when they are written in a tone such as this. This book gives orders telling you what you should think/believe, talks about why it's so much better and even puts other faiths down. I just couldn't take the author's ego and attitude. They could do with a piece of humble pie.

This was an interesting read, but I will not be following the advice presented. It was interesting for me to read about a different set of beliefs that people have.
