NAUGHTY STRANGER is the first book in Stacey Kennedy's new 'Dangerous Love' series; which is much more mainstream and less erotic than some of the author's previous books. Boone is a detective who has had his life torn apart by his ex. Peyton's world has been destroyed by tragedy. Neither are looking for forever; but forever may have just found them.

Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC. I loved this little gem! It had suspense, romance, and 2 very deserving characters of a HEA. Even though the mystery wasn't hard to solve, it made this book that much better. I also sensed a bit of one of my favorite author's writing style, which made this book that much better.

The first time Peyton sees Boone, she grabs him and kisses him passionately. That pretty much sets the rhythm for the book. I love, Naughty Stranger.

How does Stacey do it. Every story (to me) is a hit! This is another great new series. Peyton is leaving her past behind and moving to the last place she was happy. Her husband Adam has died and she needs to leave that life behind (and just wait till you read about his death...poor Peyton). Boone is a detective and had his life torn upside down by his ex. Neither are look for forever. Stacey draws you in right away with the "connection.... WHAT A FIRST KISS! I loved Boone's sister Kinsley who becomes her new best friend in town. This story gives you drama, suspense, hot freaking chemistry and hotter sex and AWWWWW LOVE! It has a HEA and amazing characters who I hope are next in line in the series. Stacey really kept me on my toes because I had it all wrong in the who done it! GREAT GREAT WORK STACEY!!! You never ever disappoint me!

Boone and Peyton had intense chemistry and their story pretty much sucked me in from the first page. As engaging as their characters were, my favourite thing about them was the mystery with their painful pasts. <b>The author did a fantastic job writing this romantic suspense.</b>

I knocked a star off because although the story was amazing, I did have the <i>plot twist</i> figured out at the beginning - which was disappointing to me, I really thought the author was going to throw a wrench into the plot and shock me with the "who did it." Other than that - it was perfect for me.

I read this book in one day because I couldn't put it down - I highly recommend it to all of my book buddies who love a good hot-cop/widow story. You will fall in love with Boone and Peyton, as well as all of their friends.

This is no only a red hot romance, but also a mystery! Boone is a small-town detective, and Peyton is the new owner of a lingerie shop. Their chemistry came through the first time they met, but both had been hurt before, and neither was looking for a relationship. They tried to stay away from each other, until the day that Peyton arrived at her shop to a woman who looked like her dead in the office. Their romance and the murder mystery both took off from there. Along the way, Boone and Peyton fell in love and made peace with the painful episodes from their pasts. I can hardly wait for the next book in this new series!

The perfect blend of romance and suspense, Naughty Stranger is a fast moving adventure. Stacey Kennedy finds just the right balance of steam, sweetness, suspense and sad moments, all combined with two leading characters you can’t help but want to find love again. The story follows Peyton, a young widow who moves to a small town in hopes of finding a new, happier life. She meets Boone soon after she arrives, a detective whose divorce has left him unwilling to open his heart to another woman. They are both a little broken when they meet, but a murder investigation brings them closer together as they both open up about their painful pasts and look toward the future.

I’ve never read anything by Stacey Kennedy, but the cover intrigued me, so when NetGalley offered me an ARC in exchange for an honest review, I thought I’d give the book a chance. I am so glad that I did! I haven’t read any romantic suspense in awhile, and this is a great one. The writing style drew me into the story, the likeable characters kept me connected, and the suspense combined with the romance made me turn the pages late into the night. I am definitely looking forward to reading the story Kennedy set up at the end of this book as well.

I loved this story and read it in one day. Loved how Peyton's strength grew despite the hardships and how Boone was there to help her along the way. I instantly fell in love with the main characters and the secondary characters are intriguing. I'm looking to reading their stories when released.

Awesome story that I couldn’t put down. Action, suspense, and sex. Two people who’s past has almost defeated them but find each other and a second chance at love. This is the first in this series and can’t wait to read what happens next.

Wonderful start to a new romantic suspense series

I’ve been a fan of Stacey Kennedy’s for a number of years.
Peyton and Boone’s story Naughty Stranger the first in her new Dangerous Love series is a great example why I became and remain a fan.
Realistically crafted main and secondary characters, sizzling chemistry, wonderful friendships, sharp smart dialogue and interesting plot lines that took my emotions from heartbreak to happiness. I could not put down this book reading it in one sitting. I am really looking forward to the next book in the series Wicked Sinner.

This is Peyton and Boone’s book it’s book one in a new series called dangerous love, Peyton fled the big city career to start over in Stonycreek Maine so far she’s loving it ,it was the last place her and her deceased husband went before he passed away so she’s trying to get back to that feel good feeling but then someone is murdered in Paytons store and the new small town police detective assigned to the case is a hottie she’s trying to resist but... Boone is a detective in Stoney creek Maine he doesn’t want any complications of a relationship after everything his ex put him through he wants nothing to do with love but when the new girl in town has a murder at her store the sizzling attraction between the two of them is off the charts but she’s got some secrets that he needs to get her to reveal he just needs to convince her to trust him enough! This book was really good I definitely enjoyed it ,it was so action-packed it was one thing right after another but filled with a lot of heart pounding moments! There was some heartbreaking moments also and it was definitely hot hot hot I highly suggest reading this I really enjoyed this book it was different from my normal read but I really liked it!!
